A MAJOR KEY TO GOOD HEALTH

[THIS ARTICLE WAS WRITTEN AFTER A 12 HOUR STAY AT THE COUNTY HOSPITAL - TRYING TO GET SOME HELP FOR A SEVERE PHYSICAL CHALLENGE I AM HAVING. THERE WAS NO HELP TO BE FOUND THERE AND WE CAME HOME QUESTIONING A LOT OF THINGS. ROGER WAS VERY FRUSTRATED - HE SO MUCH WANTS TO SEE GOD BEGIN TO MANIFEST THE POWER FOR HEALING THAT HE HAS PROMISED WE WOULD SEE. HE ESPECIALLY WANTS TO SEE OUR OWN HOME WALKING IN DIVINE HEALTH AS A LIVING WITNESS TO WHAT WE BELIEVE IS GOD’S PLAN FOR EVERY CHILD OF GOD.]

Both Roger and I have received some awesome promises from God concerning our role in His kingdom regarding healing the sick, including those depressed by demons as well. So, we are remembering some of these promises to each other and asking God why we are not seeing the manifestations of healing that took place when the Apostles were on the earth with Jesus.

Our 12 hour stay at the hospital put us in arm’s reach of several hundred people that were very sick - many crying out in pain - and a few that were obviously tormented by devils. While we were praying silently for many we observed, we had no unction to go and speak with any particular one or to lay hands on them and pray for them. In fact, the only benevolent acts we performed while there were both done outside of the waiting room area. Once Roger went to the restroom and a blind man was in need of help. Roger said several men just stood in wonder while he helped the man get into the restroom and into a stall and then wash his one good hand - the other hand was in a bandage. He then helped him back out of the restroom and placed him in the hands of his wife. As I was walking toward the restroom, there was a lady in an obviously very weakened condition, clinging to a wide handrail affixed to the hall wall and crying and shaking uncontrollably. She did not have the strength to open the restroom door, so I was able to help her and watch the door for her until she came out. I had encouraged her to leave the door unlocked in case she got in trouble she could call to me. She was so grateful for the help.

These seemed like such simple things to do, but we were amazed at the reaction of the people standing around. It was like helping someone in distress was the furtherest thing from their mind. It was this callous attitude that struck such a chord within me, not to mention the fact that there were no doctors on duty in this Emergency Room and only one person we saw with an R.N. badge. I’m not writing this as an expose to the need we have in Dallas for more charity hospitals. That was already outlined in a front page headline this same day "PARKLAND HOSPITAL NEEDS $127,000,000".

What I am crying out about is the need for God’s Power to Manifest so that those in desperate need receive healing without any dependency on the current inadequate medical facilities available. We were both so touched by the deep human needs we observed and yet a part of us felt so helpless to do anything, particularly since neither of us are yet walking in divine health.

What we were prompted to do was occupy our time in this place by seeking God continually in prayer – crying out the needs of each one as we observed them and also crying out for the needs of caring hearts in the people working at this hospital. We asked God to come into this place and manifest Himself and pour forth His power to Love, heal, deliver and relieve the many forms of suffering we are observing. At this time, we both agreed that we would feel like hypocrites to be shouting from the housetops about the healing power of God while walking in less than healed bodies ourselves.

As I spoke with a close friend today about our current dilemma, she, too said she had similar feelings on the subject and also desired to see the healing power of God manifest on a grand scale. She is currently working in a hospital in Louisiana and continually sees all of the needs we observed in this12 hour experience at our local hospital.

This lady has taught science in the public school system in Louisiana and has a lot of knowledge of the different sciences. As we continued talking, she explained to me some of the inner workings of the human cell and several interesting things surfaced.

She explained that: All people are either operating out of LOVE or FEAR. Those operating out of LOVE, experience high energy levels, good health, and a positive outlook on life. Those operating out of FEAR, experience reduced energy levels, health challenges, some of which are severe, and negative responses to many of life’s challenges. My friend explained that:

IN THE PHYSICAL REALM - ENERGY IS PRODUCED BY:

OXYGEN + FOOD = ENERGY

IN THE SPIRIT REALM - ENERGY IS PRODUCED BY:

LOVE + GOD’S WORD [WRITTEN OR REVELATION] = ENERGY

She further explained to me that the Lissome is a component within a human cell and it’s function within the cell is that of a garbage dump. If the cell and the cell membrane are both healthy, the oxygen will carry off the waste [carbon monoxide] that the Lissome has gathered from within the cell. This keeps the body from becoming toxic from waste material gathering in the body.

Is this one of the major roots to diseases in the human body? Could it be possible that the operation of FEAR causes the body to experience stress it was never created to withstand? And perhaps in the body’s attempt to relieve itself of the unwanted stress, it actually produces the environment that breeds disease?
