The New Covenant
Heb 10:16-17 This is
the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith
the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write
them; And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more. This is God
working in us from the inside out. We can turn to the spirit within us moment
by moment and begin to consciously live in the presence of God acknowledging
Him in all of our ways. May the spirit of Christ within us keep our hearts and
minds centered in Him for there is great deliverance coming to those who abide
in the truth of their being.
If
we cannot receive by faith our total forgiveness our conscience will always
feel condemned. We must be renewed in the spirit of our mind and begin to
believe the truth of God rather than our experience. If our experience does not
line up with the truth our experience is wrong not the truth. The scripture
says that “the blood of Jesus speaks of better things that that of Able. The
blood of Jesus cries out through all eternity “NOT
GUILTY.” You are not guilty even though you may feel you are. The scriptures
clearly reveal that Jesus took our judgment and as far as the east is from the
west so far has he removed our transgressions.
Hebrews gives us a very clear definition of faith.
This is the Amplified version.
Heb 11:1 1 NOW FAITH is the assurance (the
confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of
things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as
real fact what is not revealed to the senses].
Faith is being able to accept as fact what is
not yet real to my senses. We may still have habits and things in our life that
we feel is not pleasing to God. Sometimes we may sin willfully and disobey what
we feel God wants us to do. Sometimes it feels impossible that God would be
saying not guilty when we feel so guilty. That is when we can accept as fact
that the blood is saying not guilty regardless of how we feel. For those who
feel trapped and unable to better themselves this is how to come out of
bondage. Accept as fact the truth of God’s word regardless of what seems real
to our senses. I began to see this in the early 70’s and I began to receive
forgiveness every day and believe what God says rather than how I felt.
Once this is our experience of living by
faith, then spiritual things begin to be real in our experience. Christ Then
comes alive in our being and we begin to grow in faith and the abundant life. Rom
4:5. To him that worketh not, but believeth on him
that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for
righteousness. Most Christians do not believe this verse but it plainly says
that God justifies the ungodly. Heb 10:15-17 And also
the Holy Spirit adds His testimony to us [in confirmation of this]. For having
said, This is the agreement (testament, covenant) that I will set up and
conclude with them after those days, says the Lord: I will imprint My laws upon
their hearts, and I will inscribe them on their minds (on their inmost thoughts
and understanding), He then goes on to say, And their sins and their lawbreaking I will remember no more. AMP
The scriptures say that He will NOT remember
our sins and yet the first thing I used to do is go to God every day in my
prayer time and begin to confess all my sin. I spent more time confessing my
sin than anything else. Once I understood the magnitude of Calvary’s victory,
instead of always confessing the same sins day after day I began to praise him
and give thanks for my forgiveness knowing that He was not looking at my
failures but He was looking past my condition and seeing Christ in me.
Every day, we can enter into His presence, if
we can only believe what this word is telling us. We have full freedom and
confidence to enter in by the power and virtue that's in the blood of Jesus, by
this fresh, new and living way which He initiated and dedicated and opened for
us through the separating curtain, veil, of the Holy of Holies that is through
His flesh. Since we have such a great and wonderful and noble Priest who rules
over the house of God, let us all come forward and draw near with true honest
and sincere hearts.
That's what we need to get into the presence
of God; faith in the blood of Jesus, knowing that the penalty and the price has
been paid, and them come to Him with true, honest and sincere hearts. We do not
have to try and hide our failures; we just simply come to Him with a true and
an honest heart, and know that we are forgiven.
God will receive us every day of our life just
exactly the way we are when we come to Him with an honest heart. "Let us
all come forward and draw near with true honest and sincere hearts in
unqualified assurance.” We come to Him with assurance and absolute conviction engendered
by faith that is by leaning of the entire human personality on God in absolute
trust and confidence. If we do that, we will be set free. We must rely on,
cling to, adhere to, and believe in the goodness of God, and perceive as a fact
that what's not yet real to our senses.
