A Priest learns to trust his inner anointing.

Religion has given us a poor example of a priest. As I stated earlier when God called out a people for His name He desired that they all become a kingdom of priests.

Ex 19:5-6 Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:

6 And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.

To be a priest we must learn to obey HIS voice. Not the voice of the preachers or the prophets but HIS voice. When you begin to hear His voice it is so different than what most preachers say.  We have not learned to trust His voice mostly because when God first begins to speak we run to the preacher for verification and the preacher may tell us we are being deceived. If we listen to the preacher instead of learning to trust what we are hearing and sensing in the spirit we will never mature spiritually.  We have not been properly informed that we can hear his voice and trust the anointing that abides within us.

1 John 2:27

But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

The prerequisite for being a present day priest is to have a desire for God, a desire to be conformed into the image of Christ, to love the unlovely, to pray for those who persecute you and mistreat you, always doing to others as you would have them do to you. It is not about being religious at all and trying to live by a law. A priest is one who from their innermost being flows the life and nature of our Father. It is living life to the fullest.

A lot of people are religious, a lot of people even like religious things, but not too many take the time to linger until they really sense the presence of God consuming them.

Ps 27:4 4 One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in his temple.

To inquire in His temple today is a wonderful thing. We know that we are the temple of the Lord and that to inquire in His temple today is to discover all the loveliness of His beauty within us. As we meditate on Christ within us and inquire for that beauty to be manifested, we begin to experience the magnificence of His presence coming. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow us all the days of our life.

In the New Testament God once again makes His desire know to have a Kingdom of Priests.

1 Peter 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:

Here we are two thousand years later and God’s people for the most part are not a kingdom of priests but are grossly divided over doctrines and teachings, ignoring the fact that we are all one in the spirit. However this is quickly changing. People all over the world are beginning to wake up and shake the dust of human carnal religious thinking off of them and realizing that they are God’s Christ on the earth. Being fulfilled is the scripture that says,

Eph 5:14  Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.
