RENEWING OF THE MIND

As I said in the last part of this study, I want us to look at Romans 12 Romans 12:2, "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renrewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable width='100%', and perfect, will of God." If you notice, in the King James Bible, the word "is" is in italics; which means that that word was added to the original writting of this verse. It is strange how one small word can make such a difference in the understanding of the written word. Now, read this verse again, WITHOUT the word "is". "........but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what that good and acceptable and perfect will of God" To some people, these things make no difference. But, here the first version is telling us to prove WHAT IS the will of God. In this second version, it is telling us that we can prove that will of God. One is ABOUT the will of God, the other is proving the will of God, itself. Can you see what I am saying? That good, acceptable and perfect will of God IS IN US, or we could not prove it, by BEING IT. How many times have we ask ourselves, "how do I know what is the will of God?" . I don't about you, but , I have ask myself that question, thousands of times. When all I really had to do, was put my focus on\in Him, and just allow that will to come forth. We have to get religion out of our minds. Religion tells us ABOUT Him; that that is within and is us, PROVES HIM. These little additions to scriptures can make a HUGE difference in understandings. Next, I want to look at three very important words in this scripture, that tells us HOW to renew our mind. 1) conformed 2)transformed 3)renewing I want to give the definitions of these words, out of Strong's Concordance, but I also want to share what I have heard from within, concerning these words. CONFORMED This may sound a little strange, but most of the time, spiritual understanding is strange, to our mind. That is one reason we are to renew the mind. Take this word apart: con formed Con=a prisioner, a person who can trick you, a "sweet talker", one who tells you what you WANT to hear, not what you NEED to hear, a liar. FORMED= something shapped, something fashioned, something created, something fastened, something planted. Now put it all together and what do you get? Something RECEIVED by a liar; something PLANTED in our mind by someone who doesn't know what they are talking about. So this is what we are NOT to be. Now, I'll give you the definition, from Storng's.: # G4832 from #G 4862(root of word) #4832=jointly formed; similar, fashioned like unto, #4862=denoting union; with or together; completeness; resemblance, campanionship, process; association. So what is being said is this: "Don't resemble, don't be in union with, don't associate, don't be together with this world". THIS WORLD is the world of illusion that the natural carnal mind has created. Now, go back to Genesis 1 and read all the things that Elohim created, and what HE THOUGHT OF THAT CREATION. Genesis 1:31, "And God/Elohim saw every thing that he had made, and behold, it was very good." Please understand; this IS NOT telling us to not have nothing to do with the people that the religious system calls, "the world". It is telling us to NOT BE JOINED or be IN UNION WITH the teaching of MAN about this world and the people in it. I am thankful that before I came to know the Lord, SOMEONE dared to come to a person like me and speak God's Word to me. TRANSFORMED to me, I see in this word "trans", a moving; a moving towards or away from something. In Webster's Dictionary, the word "TRANS" means= (abbreviation for ) transaction, transitive, translateed, translation, translator, and transportation. In Strong's=#G3339 to transform, change, transfigure,metamorphose Root word #G3325 and 3445= denoting accompaniment, amid, association, relations of participation, transfer, and proximity. So with this in mind, the verse is saying; " changed, be associated with, be amid, transfigure yourslef; go through a metamorphoses, be a participant in, OR BE THE PROOF OF HIS GOOD AND ACCEPTABLE AND PERFECT WILL ." Ask yourself, "would God tell us to BE something that He had not already made us as? Would He tell us to do something that He had not already equipped us to do? I don't think so. We are told over and over, "YOU ARE HIS IMAGE", "YOU HAVE HIS FULLNESS", "AS HE IS IN THIS WORLD< SO ARE YOU!!" It is getting down to the nitty gritty, either we do as we are told to do, and notice, I did not say, "LET HIM DO", because as we read, HE FINISHED HIS WORK, now it is on us. I know, the church keeps telling folks, "wait on the Lord". But think about it; We ARE HIS IMAGE; We HAVE His fullness; We ARE HIS PLURAL; we even have His name (Elohim, I AM). So IF His truth is true, then WHO are we waiting on, when we are waiting on the Lord? WE ARE WAITING ON OURSELVES!!!! But we have been CON FORMED to the truths of RELIGION, who tells us, "how dare you say you are Elohim". Is God a respector of persons? NO. So IF Jesus thought it not robbery to be equal with Elohim, why should we? Folks, we HAVE to wake up if we have any hope of being in His Firstfruits Company of HIM, walking the earth; showing HIS very BEING, bringing all others to their awakening. And how do we do this "renewing of our mind?" Well one thing is for sure, and you can believe what you want; I don't care how good of a teacher you are following; how well your pastor studies Greek and Hebrew and Arabic; I don't care what experiences they have had; I don't care how much they love you, THEY CANNOT DO IT FOR YOU!!!! NO ONE can do it but YOU, Y-O-U!!! Read that verse again, does it say, "let your pastor renew your mind", "let your teacher study for you and tell you" ? No it doesn't, it is personal to us. "BE YE transformed by the renewing of YOUR mind". You know, people have sat under a particular pastor, or teacher, FOR YEARS. And STILL CANNOT explain what the pastor or teacher teaches. That is sad. They can listen to tapes, and still not be able to minister to others. But, I will PROMISE you one thing; get alone, go within, wait and listen. When you receive something from within, you will KNOW it, you will EXPERIENCE it. Conformation will come left and right. And when that happens, NO ONE CAN TAKE IT AWAY FROM YOU. And I'll tell you something else; that inner Voice speaks to ME in a way that I will remember what It has said. Then I can turn around and tell you what rose from within me, and you can't explain it. The same with you, you can receive understanding and tell me, and I will not be able to teach it. UNTIL WE ARE BOTH LISTENING TO THE SAME VOICE WILL WE BE ABLE TO CONVEY TO EACH OTHER WITH UNDERSTANDING WHAT THE OTHER IS TALKING ABOUT. Haven't you ever experienced that before? I don't talk like others, others don't use the same words I do, but that Voice will speak in the words that we understand, and others who are LIKE MINDED will understand what we are saying to each other. A LOT OF FOLKS have the WRONG UNDERSTANDING of that word "LIKEMINDED". It is NOT just believing the same thing. It is having the understanding to just ALLOW HIM speak whatever He wants to talk about. Likemindedness is NOT about ONE PERSON believing what ONE PERSON TEACHES, no. If only ONE PERSON has what we call "truth" and that's all that I can talk about, do you know what that is doing? It is QUIETING THE SPIRIT OF SAYING ANYTHING IT WANTS TO SAY. But we are USE to, CONFORMED to THIS WORLD of RELIGION. Dear ones, I am NOT putting anyone down, I am just trying to open eyes. If I want to fellowship, I want to fellowship with someone who is open to WHATEVER the Spirit wants to speak, and to WHOEVER is open to listening and thinking, "this is being said because someone here needs to hear it". But IF I say, "No, this is MY meeting, talk about what I teach". This I am keeping someone from hearing what they need to hear. What God wants to speak to them, through His Reflection. This may sound unrealistic, but, what that truely is, is CONFORMING. Now, please dont think that I am saying it is wrong to be in a group or church, I AM NOT. We can listen to anyone we want and we can learn, even IF that person doesn't know anything. God will speak to us, but CONFORMITY IS LIKE THE "SERPENT" in the Garden. SHREWD!! When we get tied into only ONE PERSON"S teaching, we are just creating another DENOMINATION!! Think about it. We can just chat with each other and IF we are LISTENING FOR THAT VOICE, HE will speak. I remember in the early part of my journey, I was so hung up on ONE MINISTER, I would not listen to anyone but him. And one night I said to my inner man, "why don't you teach me that and things like that"" He said, "you are so busy with the minister, and do not give me any time to talk to you". I woke up!!!! It was not easy to break this conformity that I had created. But when I did hear that Voice, oh boy!! I know that you all have experieinced hearing that Voice and isn't it just so exciting that you want to stay with the within!!! And not only do you understand what you have heard, NO ONE can take it from you. So, we have seen the word telling us to not be conformed to this world. This includes the religious world. We all have RELIGION in us, that HAS to come out of us, before we can BE Who we truely are. But, be transformed by THE RENEWING OF YOUR MIND. So how do we do this?
