SLOTHFULNESS   11/9/2006

                                                     Part 1

I have been in a somewhat, sabbatical, trying to establish some present truth in some things I have been going through. I think that I am through them, for the most part, and now am trying to hear what I was to learn through all of it. You know, sometimes WE make things so hard on ourselves. And when we get back into the place, HIM, that we are suppose to be in, we see that INDEED it US who brings on the hardness of our thinking. We take in things from this natural realm, and don't want to let go of them.  They SEEM so good, so right and pleasurable. And as we know, USUALLY what we want, when we allow our minds to slip back down to natural thinking,  is just the opposite of what our true identity really is. We even get too lazy to LISTEN to the Voice within. Lazy, yes.  I hope to show in this study different types of laziness, that some of us don't even consider to be laziness, or SLOTHFULNESS.

conscience= a state of mind that recalls things. a particular state of consciousness.  Usuallly condemnation, a feeling of unworthyness, a feeling of not wanting to submit.

  Everyone is a state of conscousness, or an awareness of life. Some without being troubled by a consceince; and some knowing that conssceince of wrong doing IS NOT PART OF OUR TRUE IDENITY. . When there is a conscience, the word that flows out of us is condemnation.  conscience= a state of mind that recalls things. a particular state of consciousness.  Usuallly condemnation, a feeling of unworthyness, a feeling of not wanting to submit. This thing called consceince, IS a type of slothfulness. Which we will get into later in this study.

There is a definite voice that speaks and  It brings back ,  the realm, into our lives, that we have been trying to get out of our lives, by RENEWING our mind, so that we can follow Jesus  in the regeneration.  Scripture says, "who can declare His generation?"  What is the re generation? It is the coming back to where we were in the beginning. (2cor 4),  the image is Christ. Heb 6:12, 9-10, "but beloved we are persuaded better things of you.......  "  God begot us out of Himself. no fear, no rejection, no thought of being human, etc. We have forgotten Who we are and were and this renewing of our mind is what is bringing us back to our senses, HIS SENSES!

slothful= forgot to be aware. (story of the frog being boiled alive)   AWAKEN, stay alert. or we will drift into oblevion and die. When we feel comfortable, beware!.

we have an outer self that we must be very aware of.  "oh foolish Galations who has bewitched you?"   The answer to this question is simple; WE bewitched ourselves by not taking in and BELIEVING what and Who God says we are. We get too busy looking at what we see with our natural eyes; and we OUR desires.

Jesus said, "I must go away, but the Comforter will come to you."  We KNOW that God was Jesus. (! Tim 3"16).

The man had to go away.The flesh man, Jesus.   Jesus never prayed for the sick. He commanded. Jesus came to reveal Fatherhood. We ARE what He was/is here on earth. (John 1:16) WE HAVE, not will get, but HAVE RECEIVED His fullness.  And 1John 4:17, tells us that, "As he is, so are we in this present arangement".   Some go by what interpreters of the bible say, but, remember this, and think on it, MAN wrote the bible in the first place. MAN interpreted! ONLY the Spirit can interpret correctly.  I remember when I Am said to me, "I don't speak English, Hebrew, Greek, I speak SPIRIT". This is true. And we can take apart the words, disect them and then turn around and put them RIGHT BACK OUT THERE IN MAN'S THINKING. I have found that regardless whether we are showing forth these truths, or even understanding them, right now, our not understanding DOES NOT CHANGE THE FACT TRUTH DOES NOT CHANGE, ONLY OUR THINKING OF THAT TRUTH CHANGES.

We are witnesses baring witness to that one , I AM, the eternal I, speaking about God. We are ONE with Him. There is only God appearing AS you and I. His Expressions, that's what we are.

IF we see each other as God knows us, there is harmony. We are the body of Christ, Christ is simplly HIS LIFE. And believing anything else causes us to loose our Spiritual THINKING. Just as it was with "Eve". 

The place that Jesus prepared for us, is a state of being of KNOWING WHO WE ARE.  And we don't enter into that state of being, by thinking with the natural mind or believing what the natural eyes see.

The "I", that we call ourselves, is not something or someone separated from I Am that I Am.  If we can't accept the reconciliation of ourself to God, we can't reconize it in anyone else, so we become judgmental of others. Because we see OURSELF!! This is a PAINFUL thing! But, it is for a learning. An AWAKENING. And right in the midst of this learning, IF we are not too lazy, we realize which mind we have been using. This is when our desires begin to fade. EVERYTHING seems to be turning upside down on us. But, we catch glimes of our true Identity, and we either stay lazy or wallow in the pig sty of the natural mind, OR we lose the slothfulness and began climbing again.

The material sense is dissolving away. No one can stop the the coming forth of His Finished work,that is coming into manifestation. And  you and I can stand in the middle of it and live the truth of ourselves, HIM!!  "Be not slothful come unto me and I will give you rest."  Abraham could not swear by any greater than himself. We are ONE with God's promise. WE ARE THE PROMISES!! He cannot lie. "lay hope on the hope before us"

I have talked with many CHRISTIANS about this nuclear bomb, that the Koreans have. And FEAR is taking hold of many of these people. But, there is a people who are walking into this safe place. This safe place is IN/AS HIM and HIM AS US. Let nothing lead us out of this safe place. When we allow ourselves to slip down from this place, we get slothful, with the things that we are desiring IN THIS WORLD. There IS NO SAFETY HERE!

Slothfulness makes us forget who we are, and where we came from and where we ARE NOW! Slotfulness is very subtle. (remind of anyone, like the snake in the Garden?)

Sinners must die. (Rom 6), that man who died is the slothful mind. We HAVE the mind of Christ. We are not guilty of anything, we ARE what we have always been. Like the substance that we are made us, WE CANNOT CHANGE. We ARE the same, today, yesterday and tomorrow.  This is the opposite of the slothful mind. It is life, the slothful mind is DEATH. 

There seems to be a lot of people who reallly are mixed up, about sinning, being sinners, and the actions of the flesh. We NEED to receive a CLEAR UNDERSTANDING of these things. In the Book of John, we are told that Jesus took the sin of the world to the cross. That means that SIN was JUDGED AND DONE AWAY WITH. It died on the cross, with the OLD US and Jesus. We resurrected NEW CREATURES. These creatures have NO SIN. If sin died on the cross, it is done away with. It is THE MIND that tells us that we are sinners, because that's what THAT mind THINKS. "As a man thinketh, SO IS HE".  There has been ON SINNERS BORN SINCE THE DEATH AND RESURRECTION!!  NOT ONE.  The thing that makes people THINK that sin still exists is that they EXPECT TO BE PUNISHED BY GOD   for acts that they do that is not in the NATURE OF GOD.

Number one; EVERYTHING HAS ALREADY BEEN JUDGED BY GOD, Jesus took that judgment upon Himself and took it to the cross. The judgment comes from man's mind. The punishment comes from man's mind. There are laws of God, that are and will always be in effect. Just like the law of the Spirit, it will always be TRUTH and can never change. We bring upon ourselves what we hold as truth, in this natural world. IF we participate in the things or actions of this natural world, we become one with those things and reap what those things produce. We reap the FRUIT or the OFFSPRING of the natural. And most of the time, it is a painful and hard place to be in.

It is not punishment from God. He sees HIS PLAN AS FINISHED AND US IN THAT FINISHED WORK, COMPLETED. Don't allow yourself to get sucked into believing that you can do or be anything we want to do and be, without some effects. Because, DEFINITELY, the FRUIT of the natural doing and being will manifest the results of that doing and being. WHY?  Because BELIEFS are behing the doing and being. EVERYTHING PRODUCES FRUIT OR OFFSPRINGS!  What we become one with in this natural world, the effects of the natural world comes with that thing we become one with. The natural FRUITS or OFFSPRINGS is confusion, pain, hurt, disappointment and death. Why death? Because all flesh dies!!

It is simple, by not always remembered, what we become one with is what we manifest as. When we THINK or ACT outside of the Spirit, we are thinking and acting in the flesh! There are no two ways about it.  The written Word tells us that we cannot SERVE TWO MASTERS. And this is a painful truth that we have to learn, AND HOPEFULLY APPLY TO OUR LIVES. And we DO have the power to change from one master to the REAL MASTER. Remember, we HAVE I AM's FULLNESS. But, much of the time, we allow slothfulness to make us see things as we WANT to see. This is the reason for this study.

Definition of Sloth

So as we see “The Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; 22. And the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. Genesis 2: 21-22

This word rib is also taken from the Hebrew word tsal ah which also means side. Which I feel is telling us that the Lord God took a side of Adam (soul female side) This makes more sense to me. This Soul was subject to her surroundings and it was not a snake hanging around a tree but rather Eve’s mind, or soulish thinking that was subject to the senses, and she was drawn away by reasoning in her mind. I believe the carnal mind is the serpent and it is through the thoughts we create our heaven or hell.

Can’t you see, our life is not in the blood, The blood flowed UPON THE EARTH! Our life is in the Spirit. Christ is our life. All, all, all, in Adam died. All, all, all, in Christ is made alive. Not some day as we have so often been taught. But Now, Now, we live move and have our being in Christ. In Him we are complete, Old things are not passing away, “old things have passed away. Behold all things are new. He is before all things, all things were made by Him, there is nothing made that He did not make, and we are complete in Him."

And that COMPLETENESS is waiting to MANIFEST!  It ALREADY IS, it just isn't manifested because we keep SEEING with the natural eyes. That is EASIER than TAKING THE TIME, and PRACTIICING the LIVING of seeing by the Spirit. It IS here. Slothfulness has kept us from SEEING it.

This is probably one of the most hurting studies, no EXPERIENCES, that I have ever sent out. BUT, I am THANKFUL for a learning that I had to go through. I am grateful for this learning and one thing I have learned in this learning, is that, HE is faithful to releive us of the pain that we come to know, as we learn. The pain will turn to thankfulness, as we raise out mind back into that glorious BEING of Who we are. And we realize, MORE OF MY TRUE IDENTITY IS COMING FORTH.

Here, I want us to look at one manifestation of SLOTHFULNESS.

When we think of "laziness", we think of working, or movement and activity. Many think of "religious works", but religious works will produce nothing but pride in man.

I'd like to share with you a daily portion that is sent out daily by friends of mine, Nat and Margie Williams. The writing is by Ray Prinzing.

TO BE CHANGED NEGATIVELY

"They changed their glory into the similitude of an ox that eateth grass." – Psalm 106:20

How did they do this? It was with a change of mind, involving a change of Gods. We are ultimately to be changed into the same image as our God – man is to become "The image and glory of God." (I Cor. 11:7).

Now, if you change to ‘other gods,’ then whatever your god is, that is what you will become. On this occasion Israel forsook serving Jehovah, and made unto themselves a god in the image of a golden calf, an ox that eateth grass. Then to share the glory of their god, all they had was the glory of an ox – turning from the glory of the Creator, to take up with the fragmentary glory of the created.

This takes on vital meaning and application when we consider the creeds and doctrines which warp the minds of Christendom, so that in their mind they have the image of a God that is a despot, filled with wrath, vengeful, cruel, etc., and imputing to God all the base emotions of carnal man, no wonder there is no change in them, their god is as base as themselves. You cannot be redeemed, or changed, beyond whatever your God is.

"We shall be LIKE HIM, for we shall see Him as He is," (1 John 3:2).

Many people have "Limited the Holy One of Israel ," and thus have limited their own glory and redemption.

"My people have changed their glory for that which doth not profit," (Jer. 2:11). How did they do this?

"They have forsaken Me, the Fountain of Living Waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water."

The glory of the LIVING WATER was exchanged for the dubious glory of a broken cistern. Even if the cistern held water, it was not living water, but water that could stagnate, become corrupted. But being broken cisterns it lost even that water – left with an empty shell, all glory has departed. May God indeed turn us away from this negative realm, and change us into the glory of the heavenly, a process wrought through daily overcoming. By Ray Prinzing,

Now, while I do not think that we ARE WAITING to "become" the image of God, because what we were brought forth out of God, as, has not changed. ONLY OUR THINKING HAS CHANGED and it is the MANIFESTATION of that finished work that is beginning to appear.

But, I saw such a truth in this little article. OUR BELIEFS, THOUGHTS, AND WORDS manifest us into the image that we hold, "as God". Today, everyone has their opinion of what the image of God is. The problem is, that man has created God into THEIR IMAGE, instead of the other way around. We were created IN HIS IMAGE.

Many are coming into the teaching of Who and What we are, our True Identity, but, many are seeing this truth with their natural minds. And that holds no truth. You see, ONLY the Spirit can show us truth and understanding. All the studying, interpreting of words, sermons and all the rest cannot show us truth. Not the REAL TRUTH. Just as with the bible, all these things are DEAD LETTER UNTIL the Spirit brings forth life of the words.

One TYPE of slothfulness that I see is HEARING but not checking out what we hear! I call this type of slothfulness, HEARING WITHOUT SEEKING UNDERSTANDING.

Many today grab a truth that is taught or preached and start running with it, claiming it, but not KNOWING it or about it. And when a person takes hold of a revelationg that is given TO SOMEONE ELSE, and does not seek for understanding, THEY are not receiving REVELATION, they are receiving someone else's revelation and it is second hand to the one hearing it.

I will be saying some things that may seem cold, or unfeeling, but I do not mean for it to sound that way. I am just saying TRUTH in the only way I know how. So please don't be offended.

To not seek for understanding, and to just accept what one hears is laziness! Slothfulness! We get TOO BUSY doing things that we don't spend the time seeking Him and HIS understanding. We can memorize until we can say something, but memorizing does bring forth understanding.

I would like to give an example of what I am talking about.

As you know, I do not teach that we are manifesing SONSHIP, I teach we are manifesting FATHERHOOD. Now, there is a great difference. First of all, the bible tells us that we ARE NOW sons of God, not will be. This truth manifests when we allow the Spirit to show us that we ARE sons ALREADY!

We don't have to walk in Jesus' footsteps to be sons, we have been sons. We MUST look at the tense used in scriptures. If one place says we WILL.......BE something, then we HAVEN'T YET.......BECOME that something. And when the Spirit shows us that we ARE......something, then whether we understand it or not, us not understanding does NOT change the truth of what we are told that we ARE.

This is when we MUST SEEK the understanding. This is usually when we are rising UP into a truth that we didn't know. And ONLY seeking will bring forth the manifestation of that thing we are seeking. It doesn't matter what is preached to us, or what is taught to us, or who it is preached and taught by, IT IS STILL THE TRUTH OF WHAT IT SAYS. NOTHING can change truth. Even when someone teaches it wrongly, although they may be teaching it wrongly, the TRUTH of that TRUTH is still exactly what it says. And that TRUTH is just waiting for US to come and seek it's meaning. Once we do seek, and gain understanding, THEN we are raised up higher in HIM and HE raises up highter in us.

More of His Finished work is manifested through us, here on earth.

There are some that have heard and grabbed what I AM teaching, and believe that every move they make, and every word they say IS GOD DOING THE DOING AND SAYING THE WORDS THAT THEY SPEAK!!

Foks, this isn't true. WE NEED TO UNDERSTAND THIS.

NOTHING changes the fact of the TRUTH of Who we are. BUT, what we are thinking and speaking, depends on WHAT MIND WE ARE USING! The mind of God is ONLY LOVE, PEACE, JOY and LIFE. The words we use to hurt with, comes from the natural carnal mind. THAT is not God speaking. I AM NOT speaking of right and wrong, I am speaking of THE NATURE OF OUR WORDS. I am not speaking of actions that we do, that some would consider, "SIN", because JESUS TOOK ALL SIN TO THE CROSS. Actions that cause pain, hurt, untruths etc, is actions of the carnal mind.

The important thing to realize is this. When we are living out of the carnal mind, we are NOT allowing GOD TO MANIFEST or SHOW FORTH HIMSELF. What comes from the Spirit produces from the Spirit. What comes from the flesh mind, produces from the flesh. And what comes from the flesh brings upon us, all that goes along with the flesh.

But, knowing this, none of these things CHANGE THE TRUTH OF WHO WE ARE. It's just that the more we sew in the flesh, the less of HIS NATURE APPEARS. What comes from the Spirit, brings forth the things of the Spirit, which is HIM, HIS NATURE!

The TRUTH can NEVER BE CHANGED!!! We ARE EXACTLY What and Who came forth out of God. That will never change, ONLY OUR THINKING ABOUT Who we are is changed. But, we can't live out of ONE NATURE and be the Being that is of the OPPOSITE NATURE. We are simply, HINDERING HIS APPEARANCE THROUGH US. And IF we think we can fool HIM by saying I AM, and show actions that are not of I AM'S NATURE, the only person we are fooling is ourself.

Let me make this clear; there IS NO SUCH THING AS A SINNER!!!! When we "fell", we "fell" into that Attonement that was set in place before the foundation of the world. The only thing that fell into SIN, was the MIND. And that brought on religious thinking that we are sinners and that God will punish us. GOD DOES NOT PUNISH SOMETHING THAT JESUS HAS ALREADY PAID THE PRICE OF. We bring upon ourselves what we believe!! "As a man thinketh (believes) SO IS HE." So, when we reap from the flesh, it is NOT GOD PUNISHING, it US bringing upon ourselves the rewards of the flesh. And yet, NONE OF THIS CHANGES WHO WE ARE, OUR TRUE IDENTITY, we just enter into the disquise that we have worn, as humans.

When we do not seek truth, and instead, just take someone's words or teachings, this is SLOTHFULNESS. If we don't know what the nature of God is, then we need to seek. We are told, "Seek and you shall find". ALL truth is within us. It is written on our hearts (mind). So when using the mind of Christ, we KNOW what is His nature. So, we cannot put the blame on God for all that we do and say. And most of us, when we are serious about BEING Who we are, know this truth. Not seeking IS SLOTHFULNESS. And not KNOWING is SLOTHFULNESS.

In fact, there is no reason why we can't discern His nature, we are told in John 1:16, "We HAVE, not will have, the FULLNESS OF GOD". And notice that it says "ALL have receivED His fullness".

In order to call forth the truth of God, our focus MUST be on HIM, who lives within this body that the world calls "US".

The way I see it, is very good in understanding for MUCH. There are PARTICIPANTS and NON PARTICIPANTS. A participant is a person who joins something or someone. A non participant does not. Glory, which God gave us, has been and is being revealed today. People see the glory, but don't understand what it is. Think on this, the glory is found in God. Where IS God? He is within.

2 Cor. 3:3-10, "Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ....." What is an epistle? It is a book. We are told that WE are living epistles. What does a book have? Writing in it. Well, we have God's Words written on our heart. "Written, NOT WITH INK, but with the Spirit of the LIVING GOD; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart."

Vs 4, "And SUCH TRUST have we through Christ to GOD-WARD." LOOK AT THIS!! WE are trusting God, and GOD is trusting US!!

Vs 5, "Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think anything as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is OF God." Now, think back. What did I teach that the word "of" means? It means, "out from within". OUR sufficiency is out from within God. WHERE IS GOD? Within us. So the sufficiency is WITHIN US. Now keep in mind WHO YOU ARE, ONE WITH. GOD!!! There is no separation between God and us. One is the other, and the other is the One. WE ARE ONE. NOT HIM AND US, JUST HIM!

Vs 6, "Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; NOT THE LETTER, but out from within the Spirit, for the letter killeth, but the Spirit giveth LIFE!! The glory of the new testament is the CROSSING OVER, or the PARTICIPATING IN the new testament glory. The difference in the old testament glory and the new testament glory is, that OUR GLORY DOESN"T LEAVE. The glory that shown upon Moses, left.

Vs 7, "But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel COULD NOT stedfastly behold the face of Moses, for the glory of his countenance: which glory was to be done away: ....." this word "ministration", means "dispensation or law of the house". The dispensaiton or law of the house, in the old testament was, God saying, "IF you don't do this or do that, I will kill you."

Vs 8 How shall not the ministration of the Spirit be rather glorious? NOW the law of the house IS SPIRIT.

Vs 9, For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, MUCH MORE doth the ministration of righteousness EXCED in GLORY." The ministration of condemnation, when the 10 commandments were given, was to condem. Paul said, "I didn't know I was.....this or that....UNTIL I read the scriptures". Now, look at 2Cor. 5:21, (we will be back to this chapter 3).

2Cor. 5:21, "For he hath made to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that WE might be made the righteousness OF GOD IN HIM." Ok, we have been made righteousness of God. Back to chapter 3.

Vs 9-10, "For if the ministration of condemnation BE GLORY, MUCH MORE DOTH THE MINISTRATION OF RIGHTEOUSNESS EXCEED in glory. For even that which was made glorious had NO GLORY IN THIS RESPECT, by reason of the glory that EXCELLETH."

Glory, is the PRESENCE OF GOD. God is/as in US. The glory that we have EXCELS the glory that was in Moses!!! We have the glory that excels EVEN THE BIBLE. Remember what we were told about the LETTER.

Now, I showed all of this to show this. Glory BRINGS A CHANGE!!! )Look at Romans 8:16-17)

Now, can you see that when we do or say something that is not showing forth God's nature, then we are operating out of the carnal mind, NOT GOD'S MIND. Even though things are done out of the carnal mind, it DOES NOT CHANGE OUR TRUE IDENTITY, it just shows that we are not acting in HIS NATURE. We are not allowing the manifestation of HIM to take place, through us.

Col. 1:21, "And you, that were sometimes ALIENATED and enemies IN YOUR MIND by wicked words, yet now hath he reconciled."

"Alienated", is a NON PARTICIPANT!! And where is all of this? IT'S ALL IN THE MIND!! A NON PARTICIPANT is IN the Body of Christ, but is out of the path!! The actions of a NON PARTICIPANT IS NOT GOD DOING THE ACTIONS OF THAT PERSON. Yes, they are still in the Body of Christ, but they ARE NOT BRINGING FORTH THE NATURE OF GOD!!

Remember John 1:16 tells us that we HAVE RECEIVED the FULLNESS OF GOD, this means that we have resurrection power. WE can raise the carnal mind, or we can think with the mind of God!

In Isaiah 55, when God said, "My THOUGHTS are not your THOUGHTS, my WAYS are not YOUR WAYS..." , He was talking to these NON PARTICIPANTS!!! Those NOT THINKING WITH THE SPIRITUAL MIND!! You see, we cannot THINK with two minds, at the same time!!

"Thoughts" mean , plans and intentions. "Ways" mean, conversation. "A jouney EASTWARD" is L-I-F-E. The carnal is DEATH.

Now, we know that in the original writings of the bible, there were NO PUNCTUATIONS. When the translations were done, punctuations, chapter numbers, and verse numbers were ADDED. Now, read Isaiah 55:19 with a comma in another palce.

"When the ENEMY shall come in, like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him."

OK, who is the enemy? ROM 8:7 tells us that the enemy is the CARNAL MIND! The Spirit of the Lord , like a flood shall lift up a standard against him.

Malachi 3:7 says, "Return unto me" How do we do this, returning? I'll tell you. A CHANGE IN THINKING BRINGS A CHANGE OF WAYS!!!

So, I hope you see clearly, that although you ARE YOUR TRUE IDENTITY, and that NEVER CHANGES, all of your thinking and actions ARE NOT your TRUE IDENTITY doing the actions or speaking the words. And remember we DO HAVE resurrection POWER. WE CAN take thoughts captive and by doing so, change our actions.

SLOTHFULNESS is, NOT using that resurrection power. SLOTHFULNESS is, NOT seeking for answers.

This is just ONE TYPE of slothfulness. We will look at another type in the next part. Slothfulness WILL bring death. Slothfulness will keep the manifestation from appearing through us, here on earth. We NEED to think about this.

Now, in the last part, we saw where not seeking, but rather just accepting what one hears is a type of slothfulness.  It is VITAL that we seek within oursleves and find what is truth and what is not truth.  Look how many years we ALL have been slothful. Listening to our pastors, teachers, friends and even the bible, seemed to be less work and less taxing on us. So we listened, learned doctrines and then forgot them or tried to apply them to our lives, to no avail. Folks, it is at the point that either we SEEK HIM or the only thing we grow in, is someone else's revelation. And someone else's revelation does not bring forth Father's Life in us.

Another manifestation of slothfulness is something that I call; DEPRIVING OURSELVES OF TRUTH.

When we allow others to tell us, "we are not this, or we are not that", we can deprive ourselves of the very truth of our BEING. What we must understand is that, ALL have not received the same revelation as others have. And IF we depend on what someone else has received or not received, we can and many times do, deprive us of Truth.

Within each of us the Light of Truth shines continually, it awaits us to call it forth. It is a finished work of God, and it lies within, just waiting on us. We need to protect it by our constancy. We need to totally trust that what God has spoken IS TRUE, regardless of what we do or do not understand.

Many believe that they cannot hear, or see with and as God. But, can God lie??  This is one question that should be asked, of ourself, every day. IF He inspired words, those words come directly from witnin Him, and either we DO or DON'T believe Him.

When we look at others and think:  "They know so much more than I do. They hear him so much easier than I do". Then, this thought calls God a liar. We are told that God is no respector of persons. Aren't we told that God wrote His words on our heart (mind)?  Did He mean that He just picked and chose certain ones that He did this to?  I don't think so. This is depriving yourself from giving God the opportunity to speak to you. This is slothfulness and most of us have been guilty of this.  Listen to a truth that MOST will not accept:

John 1:16, " For of His FULLNESS have we ALL receivED."

When our slothfulness causes us to not LISTEN, UNTIL WE HEAR, we deprive ourself from not only His Presence, but also His Voice. I just experienced this myself. It is when we won't take the time to LISTEN or to make sure our focus is in the right place,  that we end up missing what He is saying. And it's all in us. We sometimes get too preoccuppied and miss out on Him. HE is ALWAYS THERE FOR ALL OF US TO GO TO, but when we don't use that Christ Mind that He has given us, for whatever reason, we DEPRIVE OURSELF, He doesn't deprive us, WE DEPRIVE OURSELVES.  And we end up learning the hard way.

Even in the natural, when we get lazy, we deprive ourself of a lot of things. And when we take the time to think about it, when something is happening in the natural, that thing is happening in the Spiritual too.

There is a difference in resting, and laziness. And many times we try to use resting as an excuse to be slothful.

We MUST KNOW that Father has not given something to one, that He didn't give to all of us. IT IS ALL IN US, because of our ONENESS WITH HIM.

"In HIM, we live, move and have our BEING."

If our focus is not IN HIM, then we cannot move in Him and as Him, and if we cannot move in Him and Him as us, we CANNOT have our BEING in and as Him, and Him as us. Focus is vital !!  When we allow our focus to be taken off of Him, we SHOULD recognize the DIFFERENCE in our life. And when we DO finally recognize that difference, then we just need to CHANGE OUR FOCUS BACK TO HIM.

One thing is for sure; HE IS ALL IN ALL. And even when the focus slips, we should remember, which is sometimes hard because are focus is on something else, but we should remember:

Ps 37:23-26, "The steps of a good man are ordered (established) by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way. Though he fall, he sall not be utterly cast down: for the Lord upholdeth him with his hand. I have been young; yet have  I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread. HE IS EVER MERCIFUL and lendeth: and his seed is blessed".

Our steps ARE ORDERED by God. If we fall, that's ok, IF we get back up and know where we have to keep our focus. Each fall, or slip, is for a learning. And IF we take that learning, and LIVE that learning, then HE appears more clearly through us. We are walking INTO OUR TRUE IDENTITY.  And UNTIL the carnal mind is fully renewed, there will be learning that we must go through.

But, we deprive ourselves when we THINK that someone else can ok everything. We MUST look at that fall or slip and ask ourselves, why did happen? Where did it come from? And then allow that Voice within us, tell us the answers to these questions, AND LEARN from that slip, and APPLY what we learn. It is THEN that we move right back INTO HIM and He is seen, not us.

Good intentioned people will tell you why this or that happens and what we should do about it, and they do so out of LOVE most of the time. BUT, ONLY HE can show us what IS BEING WORKED, in US, and others. One thing is for sure, there will be NO CONDEMNATION for us or anyone else, IF WE ARE HEARING HIS VOICE. And sometimes it seems much easier to follow the loving advice of others, but the easy way usually leads to US DEPRIVING OURSELVES OF HEARING HIM. But, when we adjust our focus, it is THEN, that the Mind of Christ, the VERY thoughts of God, begin being heard AGAIN, loud and clear. And that HEARING will lead us to the path that we are to take, regarding our "slip".  It is a learning. And we must not deprive ourselves of that ONENESS that we are in Him.

Even when what we HEAR FROM HIM, may SEEM to be going against the grain of what others may be telling us, FOLLOW THAT HEARING, and then WITNESS the results of what He is bringing forth in us, and in others. THAT HEARING WILL ALWAYS HAVE LIFE AND LOVE, never condemnation and revenge. HE IS OUR CORRECTOR, and the correcting or that changing of things, will end up with a MORE CLEARER APPEARING OF HIM and that's what everything is really about.

So, we must not deprive ourselves, by listening to anyone EXCEPT HIM!!  Regardless of where we might THINK we are at in Him, and where we might THINK that others are at in Him. He has given us EVERYTHING that HE IS AND HAS. It is up to US to take what He has given and use it.

The next part of this study will be the most important part, the way I am seeing it.  APPLICATION!

Let's look at the different types of slothfulness we have looked at.

1) Losing our Focus

2) Hearing without Seeking

3) Depriving Ourselves

This is the last part of this study and I feel, probably the most important part.  APPLICATION.

When we realize that our attention is being called to what we are doing or not doing , without sometimes realizing it, this is when we need to examine ourselves. Not condemn, not feel guilty or shamefulness; but just get alone with our Inner Self and examine things.

And let me say this; even those who have been brought into the highest (yet) realm of understanding of their True Identity, they too will experience LEARNING, UNTIL Father is FULLY MANIFESTED through them. This is one reason why we should have our DEPENDANCE in FATHER ONLY.  We can be help to each other; and should be. But, dependance should be ONLY in HIM.

I would also like to say that this study has been MOSTLY for me. And in the sharing of this experience with all of you, I am hoping that it will help you, in your time of LEARNING. I have learned SO MUCH through all of this and this learning has LIFTED ME back to my True Identity and much KNOWING.

I want to thank each and every one of you, who has contacted me, through this and say this to you, you have been such a FLOOD OF KNOWING to me. I wish I could share each of the emails that I have received. And with each one of them that brought me into a place of SUCH LOVE, that I had not really experienced before. Oh, the LOVE of each of you is TRUELY the love of our Father!!  I can't tell you in words just how each of you have effected me. It IS WORTH EVERY MINUTE OF PAIN THAT I HAVE BEEN THROUGH!!  And I mean this from my depth of Being.

When the ones who said, "Linda, I LOVE YOU and this love cannot be changed", there was SUCH AN OVERWHELMING PRESENCE OF FATHER and such a HUMBLING SPIRIT OF GRADITUDE that overtook me, that I just cannot tell you. THANK EACH AND EVERYONE OF YOU.

There were out of all the emails, only 2, speaking condemnation. But, I KNOW that those 2 were for me to know where calling forth of the rising of Father within them, is needed. I will be constantly calling forth this very thing.

I have been so blessed, by the ones that Father led to be a part of this ministry. And even though I may not talk to some of you on a regular basis, I KNOW THAT WE ARE INDEED AND TRUELY, FAMILY!!  How Father has blessed me. I love each of you.  Now, let me wipe away these tears and finish up here!!

APPLICATION.  We have all heard, throughout our Christian walk, about application. Some times we thought that WE could do the applying, only to find that we made a bigger mess of things. But, as we have been and are being shown Who and What we really are, we have learned that when we receive the LEARNINGS about ourselves, that , that learning actually APPLIES ITSELF to us, inwardly.  As long as our heart is in the right place, the learning becomes a part of us.

Shame, blame, guilt, embarassment has NO PLACE IN US. But, once again, when our focus has slipped, the first thing that pops into our mind, are those very things. When this happens, this is when we should know that we still have not raised our focus, back to Him. But, He is so faithful, to TENDERLY whisper, "LOOK AT ME, DEAR ONE".

When we take the time to GO WITHIN and allow HIM to speak, we learn that EVERYTHING HAS A REASON and A WORK TO BE PERFORMED. It is THEN, with the HEARING, THE LISTENING, THE GIVING OF OUR THOUGHTS TO HIM, that it all falls into place. (or maybe I shoudl say, IS LIFTED into place.)

What have I learned through all this?  I am going to be honest and open with you, because you all have walked with and by me through this happening. And I feel that YOU have been a part of this situation, right along with every step I took. And hopefully, it is showing you something too.

One thing that I have learned is that this was all about learning what I AM truely AM and when to know that I might allow my thoughts to become in the natural, and what to do when it happens, and how to recognize it. NO THOUGHT OF FATHER is made up of condemnation, blame or degrading of anyone. So, when these thoughts come, KNOW, it is not HIS THOUGHTS!

Another thing that I learned is that FORGIVENESS truely IS, JUST THAT. No thinking about what is wrong in someone else, but to see what I need to bring forth. I AM HIS FULLNESS and I MUST see and do as Him/and Him as me. We are ONE. There is no "me and Him", there is ONLY HIM. And IF we truely seek, meditate on, take the time needed to see as He does, we will know what MIND we are thinking out of. And make amendments IMMEDIATELY!! And we will know that forgiveness is not as we have known it, "forgive, but don't forget."  To forget something means that conscincence is not operating in us. The conscience is ONLY TO BRING FORTH SOMETHING FROM THE PAST!!  And we are to be established in PRESENT TRUTH.  To truely forgive, we let go of even the remembrance of a thing. There may come a time when FATHER will bring that thing to our remembrance, but, He will not be bringing it forth for the remembrance of the act, but for a reason that can help someone else. FORGIVENESS IS A WONDERFUL THING!

 

I have also learned, that LOVE will take care OF ALL THINGS. REAL LOVE, not religeous love. It is always right here, at hand for us to take hold of and to allow it to simply flow and cover ALL THINGS. It will wipe away, bad feelings, the want of revenge, the inabiltiy to forget hurts, and pain. EVERY BIT OF ALL OF THESE THINGS, LOVE WILL COVER. It will leave us with UNDERSTANDING of KNOWING that WE are being EMPTIED of the last traces of mistaken identity.  WE HAVE TO BE EMPTIED, or rather I should say, the manifesting of that already EMPTYING has been done, and the REAL PICTURE IS APPEARING.  It is a GLORIOUS THING TO TRUELY EXPERIENCE LOVE!!

I have also learned something that I MUST SAY, OPENLY.  DAVID.

This happening was not so I could look at David and see "evil" in him. For we all know that there is NO EVIL. And when we see evil, we are seeing with duel eyesight. All that David did, was simply as a tool used by God to show LINDA, where her focus was. I owe David an apology for putting his name out there, IN JUDGEMENT!! This might seem strange to some, but, UNDERSTANDING will come to them, when it is THEIR TURN to be enlarged in their seeing.  I put blame on David, for something that I DID. I, and I alone, was the one who allowed myself to see through natural emotions. And through this, I have heard Father say, "I HAVE EMOTIONS, AND MINE ARE RIGHTEOUS, USE THEM".  Now, I know that some teach that Father doesn't have emotions, but I have to go with what He is telling me, on this subject.

I do want to share one email, that just showed me that when I heard Him speak these words, it was INDEED, HIM.

"Linda, I DON't think it was EVER emotions leading you--- I believe it was ALWAYS Spirit--- remember, we have to look beyond what we think we see--- it is ALL positive. You HAD to go thru all those emotions OF SPIRIT, that will lead you both to right where you allready are. Be glad and thankful that YOU/Father brought this situation forth for a much higher purpose. We know that's how we must always look at David and this situation. Love ya"

I put these words in red, because I feel it IS FATHER SPEAKING!

Am I saying that all things were of God? Yeah, I am. He knew EXACTLY what had to come out of me, and probably David too, and He knew EXACTLY what it would take to bring it out. He knows us so well.  I spoke out about David, through hurt and pain. And that is because my focus WAS NOT where it should have been. This isn't an accusation against me, it is simply a learning that I had to go through. So, David please know that I apologize for the way I handled this. And I do ask forgiveness FROM YOU.

 I learned that I surely MUST do as He told us to do: "Be slow to speak". I don't know about you, but I have, many times, allowed my Cherokee temper to resurrect!! I HAVE been learning to when I get upset, write it out, and then, wait until PEACE takes the place of that unrest in me, and THEN do away with the writing!!  I am a writer and I put everything, just about, in writing. And this has been working, up until this learning. And now, this is another APPLICATION that has been worked into me.  Thank You, Father.

Without application, all of our pain, suffering, and all those other emotions, will be for nothing. And we will go through them again UNTIL we do learn and then apply.

So, for now, I think I have said all that I was led to say. I encourage all of you, that when the Rising up of Father, within us, comes, don't lose your focus. It is vital to make it through.

And once again, I LOVE EACH OF YOU, and I thank you for bringing LOVE into such a clear view of Father. It showed in each of you. You have been a blessing and a strength when I needed it.  Each member of the Body is so truthfully talked about in the bible:

"For the body is not one member, but many. If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the bod; is it therefore not of the body? If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing, where were the smelling?  But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him. And if they were all one member, where were the body? But now are they many members, yet but one body. And the eye cannot  say unto the hand, I have no need of thee; nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you. Nay, much more those members of the body, which SEEM to be more feeble, are necessary; and those members of the body, which we THINK to be less honourable, upon htese we bestow more abundant honour; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness. For our comely parts have no need; but God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to that part which lacked; that there should be no division in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another. And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer sith it; or one member honoured, all the members rejoice with it, NOW YE ARE THE BODY OF CHRIST, and members in particular."  (1Cor 12:12-27)

AMEN and thank you, the Body.  I leave the following with you.

Deprive not yourselves of the unfading and resplendent Light that shineth within the Lamp of Divine glory. Let the flame of the love of God burn brightly within your radiant hearts. Feed it with the oil of Divine guidance, and protect it within the shelter of your constancy. Guard it within the globe of trust and detachment from all else but God.
