A PREPARED PEOPLE WITH A HOLY PURPOSE

                                                                       Part Four                                                         April 1999

The Lord has a prepared people in this world today who have a holy purpose to fulfill in the kingdom of God. As they progressively walk onward and upward to the greater fullness of the kingdom of God, by the Spirit, they are enduring the many tests and trials of this life to become the Father's overcomers. In the fullness of time, when these elect and chosen ones have overcome all things of this negative realm, they shall be given "the morning star" (Rev. 2:26-28). The "morning star" is the Light of Christ given to the overcomers, which has the designated purpose of bringing forth the dawn of a new morning. When we are given the "morning star," we shall then bring forth the dawn of the new morning of the kingdom of God on earth. Then, by the Light of Christ within us, Who is the "morning star" (Rev. 22:16), all the spiritual darkness in the world will eventually be dispelled and multitudes shall be delivered.

This is the theme of the sixtieth chapter of Isaiah's prophecy. By the word of the Lord, the prophet advised the slumbering elect to "Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee" (Is. 60:1). This spiritual Light and Glory of the Lord is to rise within the elect when spiritual darkness covers the earth, and gross darkness covers the hearts of the people. At that time and under those circumstances, "the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee." We believe this prophetic word began to take place a few years ago. The Light and Glory of the Lord did indeed rise within the remnant a few years ago when spiritual darkness was at its worst. There are some signs in this country clearly showing us that the spiritual Light and Glory of the Lord within His elect has already begun dispelling the darkness in the world.

But we haven't seen anything yet! What we have seen so far is only a small beginning. As we rise and shine spiritually with the Light and Glory of Christ that He is imparting to us, "Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising" (Is. 60:3). Then, as the Light and Glory of Christ within us increases, we shall lift up our eyes to see a glorious, spiritual gathering taking place, in the Spirit and by the Spirit. We will then see that many others also, including "thy sons" and "thy daughters" (vs. 4), or those of other generations, are being joined to us, by the Spirit, to feast on the spiritual riches within us. "Then thou shalt see, and flow together, and thine heart shall fear, and be enlarged; because the abundance of the sea shall be converted unto thee, the forces of the Gentiles shall come unto thee" (vs. 5). Our Father shall completely overwhelm this spiritually darkened world! He will do it by filling His chosen elect with the Light and Glory of Christ until all spiritual darkness, not only in the world but also within the hearts of the people, shall be dispelled, bringing deliverance to the multitudes who are bound by that darkness.

Most certainly, these prophetic truths will not all take place in this world immediately and at the same time. The Lord will fulfill His kingdom purposes in this world gradually and with determination, zeal and holy purpose. Spiritual decline, including sin and death, has come to its fullness all during the six long age-days of man's misrule. But God will restore all things everywhere in just one prophetic age-day of His kingdom reign and dominion in the earth, which may be a thousand-year day (2 Pe. 3:8). The Lord manifests Himself to His people in this world in terms of time or dispensations and ages (see Eph. 1:10, 2:7, 3:5, 21 & Col. 1:26). For example, His purposes for today are much more advanced than they were during Israel's Old Testament history, or during the New Testament church era. Thank God, we have progressed spiritually from those days to this more glorious new Day! Now, in this new Day, the Lord has begun His rule from the throne of His Father, where He reigns in the Spirit in righteousness and justice, to put all His enemies under His feet.

Isaiah's prophecy in chapter sixty also shows growth or progression. The language of the prophet is given in more literal terms that were common in his day. Isaiah mentioned such things as camels and flocks and herds, perhaps showing the work of the Spirit on everything from people and animals to the whole creation (see Is. 60:6-7). The Lord has already begun His work of restoring all things. It is only a small beginning, but in due time the whole creation will be affected by the moving of His Spirit in kingdom power and glory. The prophet then declared that God will "glorify the house of my glory" (vs. 7). The "house of my glory" must be a reference to the restored "tabernacle of David," which is the Holiest of all where the company of the elect and chosen ones abide spiritually. When the Lord glorifies us with His glory, transforming this natural man that we are into a new, spiritual man, the whole creation will then take notice of that which our Father has done with us and for us to make us a praise to His Name. Then, multitudes will be drawn to Him, by the Spirit.

The prophet again uses literal, natural terms to describe what he saw in the Spirit. To understand what the Spirit is saying here, we need to let the holy Spirit interpret Isaiah's prophecy. I believe Isaiah saw the spirits of multitudes of mankind coming to receive what we have to offer, when he said, "Who are these that fly as a cloud, and as the doves to their windows" (vs. 8). The spirits of those dwelling in darkness will see the Light of Christ emanating from the Lord's elect. And when they see His Light within us, by the Spirit, they will fly in great flocks as a cloud of doves, spiritually speaking, seeking the Light of Christ through the "windows" of their troubled and oppressed souls. When those multitudes are set free by the Light of Christ within us, they will come "unto the name of the Lord thy God, and to the Holy One of Israel, because He hath glorified thee" (vs. 9).

Do not expect this wonderful and awesome prophecy to take place tomorrow, next week, next month, or maybe even next year. Father shall fulfill all His word in His time and according to His sovereign will and omnipotent purpose. We all know  the Lord has chosen to use His people through whom He shall fulfill all His purposes for this world. Nothing of God's purposes can be fulfilled in this world without His people knowing it and then becoming involved in the fulfillment of those purposes. Long ago, the Lord spoke through one of His prophets to say, "Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets" (Amos 3:7).

The Lord first reveals His secret purposes to His prophets, and then those prophets are anointed to tell God's people of those purposes. God's people must then rise in the Spirit, by His power within them, to fulfill that Divine purpose. And now it is obvious that the only thing standing in the way of the fulfillment of all God's holy purposes in the earth is the spiritual growth of His people. God must have a people in the world today who are spiritually awake, aware, and alive! Our Father's purposes for His kingdom will all be fulfilled in due time, according to and commensurate with, our spiritual growth! When we have matured spiritually, by the power of the Spirit within us, we shall receive the "morning star." The Lord will then glorify us with His brilliantly shining Light and Glory, causing multitudes to be joined to us, in the Spirit and by the Spirit. What wonders yet await us as we continue to walk in harmony with our Father's will!

The anointed prophet of the Lord then saw that "sons of strangers" with their kings came to us to build up the walls of the holy city, which we are. He also saw that the "gates" which we are, are open continually. Isaiah said of those gates, "they shall not be shut day nor night; that men may bring unto thee the forces of the Gentiles, and that their kings may be brought. For the nation and kingdom that will not serve thee shall perish; yea, those nations shall be utterly wasted. The glory of Lebanon shall come unto thee, the fir tree, the pine tree, and the box together, to beautify the place of my sanctuary; and I will make the place of my feet glorious" (Is. 60:11-13). The gates of this New Jerusalem city, which we are, shall be open all during the Day to receive the multitudes of mankind, including their kings and their governments. And there shall be no night or spiritual darkness there ever again (Rev. 21:25)!

In His sovereign, kingdom purposes, which includes our Father's process of the restoration of all things, the Lord said He would "beautify the place of my sanctuary; and I will make the place of my feet glorious." The place of His sanctuary now, as we have already pointed out, is the restored "tabernacle of David," which is the spiritual realm of the Holiest of all, or the Holy of holies. The Holiest of all is the realm where the elect abide in the Spirit; it is the realm that is being cleansed by the appearing of Christ within His elect as a burning fire to burn up the stubble within them, which will eventually leave them "neither root nor branch" of the old, carnal man, Adam. He is also appearing to His elect as "the Sun of righteousness" with healing in His wings to cause us to go forth and grow up as calves of the stall, to do all His will in this world (Mal. 4:1-2). When His work within us is complete, this sanctuary that we are shall be beautified by the glory and presence of the Lord.

The Lord also said, "I will make the place of MY FEET glorious." This reference to the feet is significant, for the feet in prophetic truth are members of the body of Christ. The natural usually illustrates the greater truth of the spiritual! As the feet of a baby are generally the last portion of its body to come forth at birth, so the feet of the body of Christ are those saints of the Lord who are the last to be joined to the Christ body by the Spirit. The sons of God of this hour are the last to be joined to His body, and are, therefore, the feet members of the body of Christ. We may have different functions to perform in relation to the body, such as a hand or a joint in some other portion of the body, like the neck or the shoulder. But when it comes to our location and the time we were joined to the body, we are the feet of the body of Christ (see 1 Co. 12:). The feet of the body of Christ are those members "which we think to be less honourable." But then Paul declared by the Spirit, "upon these we bestow more abundant honour" (1 Co. 12:23). The feet company, which we are, have a special and distinct purpose to fulfill in the kingdom of God, for "more abundant honour" has been bestowed upon them by our Father!

Why has more abundant honor been bestowed on the feet members of the body of Christ? Because the feet company of the body of Christ have the designated purpose of crushing the head of the old serpent, the devil (see Ge. 3:15)! We all know that the devil, which is the evil spirit, spoke and acted through a serpent to deceive Adam and Eve. Because "the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field" (Ge. 3:1), satan spoke through the serpent to beguile and deceive Eve by telling her to question God's word. The devil does the same thing to many of God's people today, not through a serpent, but by speaking directly to their carnal minds. Satan persuaded Eve to doubt God's word and eat of the forbidden fruit. She ate of it and then gave it to her husband, Adam, that he might eat of it also. This disobedient act brought the curse of God on the serpent, mankind, and the whole creation (Ge. 3:14-15). And all this took place by the will of God! The apostle Paul tells us this all occurred "not willingly (or not by Adam and Eve's will), but by reason of Him (God) who hath subjected the same (the creature) in hope" (Ro. 8:20).

The feet of the body of Christ are those saints who have been quickened and made alive by the Spirit at this transition time between the old age and the new. The body of Christ has been in the process of formation since the founding of the early Church. We are the last members to be joined to His body - we are the feet company. To satan and Eve after the "fall," the Lord said, "And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head (of the serpent-satan), and thou shalt bruise his heel" which is the heel of the body of Christ (Ge. 3:15). Obviously, the "heel" of the foot of the Christ body, which is "HIS HEEL," shall trample on the head of satan, while satan will bruise those who make up the heel. But satan's bruises cannot possibly defeat us or render us powerless! When the head of satan is trampled and put under the feet of this corporate Christ, it is then in total subjection to the greater power of Christ. We may suffer a few small bruises as we fulfill our high calling of overcoming and bruising the head of the devil, but we should realize what a privilege and honor it is just to be a "heel" in the body of Christ. When we overcome the devil, he will be under our feet; he will be in total subjection to this entire Christ body, where he belongs (see Ps. 8:6, Mal. 4:3, 1 Co. 15:25, Eph. 1:22 & He. 2:8).

There are many prophetic, spiritual truths relating to the feet in scripture. For example, when Jesus knew His time on this earth was ending and He would soon return to the Father, "He poureth water into a bason, and began to wash the disciples' feet, and to wipe them with the towel wherewith he was girded. Then cometh he to Simon Peter: and Peter saith unto him, Lord, dost thou wash my feet? Jesus answered and said unto him, What I do thou knowest not; but thou shalt know hereafter. Peter saith unto him, Thou shalt never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me" (Jo. 13:5-8).

When Jesus washed the disciples' feet that day, He was setting forth a prophetic, spiritual principle that must apply to everyone who is to be joined to the body of Christ, especially the feet company. All who are joined to Christ must be clean and righteous! Every member of His anointed body must be cleansed by the work of the Spirit within them. But the feet of this Christ body must go through more intense cleansing and processing of the Spirit than anyone else, for they are destined of their Father to tread on satan and put him under their feet. This is the wonderful truth Jesus set forth by example when He washed the disciples' feet. Jesus said to Peter, "What I do thou knowest not; but thou shalt know hereafter." The Lord has revealed much truth to His people since Jesus washed Peter's feet. Peter did not know then the real purpose and reason why Jesus washed his feet, but we know now, for the Lord has revealed it to us by His Spirit. And when the Spirit reveals something to us, it is ours; no man can take it from us!

Then Jesus told His disciples they should follow His example and wash one another's feet. What was done then as an example has now become a greater, spiritual experience. And when the greater spiritual fulfillment of anything takes place, the former, literal example then becomes empty, useless, and without purpose. We do not need to literally wash one another's feet now, for this literal example has been raised to a higher level and fulfilled in the lives of the elect, by the Spirit. As the feet members of the Christ body, we are being cleansed by the fiery presence of the Lord. What was once an object lesson has now become spiritual reality fulfilled in our lives. Peter objected to Jesus washing his feet, perhaps because of humility. We may also object to the cleansing work of the Spirit in our lives, which is certainly difficult to experience. But what Jesus said to Peter applies to us as well, "If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me." In other words, unless we are washed and cleansed by the Spirit, we shall have no part in His body, and in the glorious work to be accomplished by the feet company of the body of Christ. And having been cleansed by the fiery presence of the Lord, we are fully prepared to deal more effectively with satan. Yet, it is not by our own power that we shall put satan under our feet, but by His (see Ro. 16:20, Rev. 3:9).

The completed and glorified body of Christ is described in the prophecies of Ezekiel, chapter one, and in Daniel, chapter ten. When Ezekiel saw the entire, completed body of Christ in the Spirit in His glorified state, he then saw this fullness of Christ as a whirlwind, a great cloud, and as a fire with a brightness about Him. He saw this Christ body as being "four living creatures" having "the likeness of a man," with four faces of a man, thus identifying those "living creatures" as the same One Who is described in the book of "The Revelation of Jesus Christ" (Rev. 1:1, 13-18, & Ez. 10:14). Then Ezekiel prophesied, "And their feet were straight feet; and the sole of their feet was like the sole of a calf's foot: and they sparkled like the colour of burnished brass" (Ez. 1:7). The prophet Daniel saw the same body of Christ as "a certain man clothed in linen, whose loins were girded with fine gold of Uphaz: His body also was like the beryl, and his face as the appearance of lightning, and his eyes as lamps of fire, and his arms and his feet like in colour to polished brass, and the voice of his words like the voice of a multitude" (Da. 10:5-6).

The feet of this Christ body appeared like polished brass, and sparkled like the color of burnished brass. The words, "burnished" and "polished" come from the same Hebrew word, and refers to something that is brightened or bright-colored as if it was sharpened. The feet, which we are, have the color of burnished brass, for we are coming through the fiery cleansing of the Spirit of God. John saw that the feet of this body were "like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace" (see Rev. 1:15, 2:18, 10:1). And indeed, we are in the fiery furnace of the Lord's processing, for we are being prepared of the Spirit to tread on satan. When the Lord uses us in kingdom power and glory, "burning coals" shall go forth from the feet, which we are (see Hab. 3:5). We are called "straight feet," for we are coming forth righteous and upright in the sight of the Lord. This feet company are like the feet of a nearly-grown calf, which are hardened, split-feet that can tread on an enemy, tearing them to pieces. Although we are seen as feet of brass in our warring, overcoming state, the Lord said He would turn our brass into fine gold (Is. 60:17), making us peacemakers.

When we come forth out of the Lord's fiery furnace, we shall then be those beautiful feet with a comforting message of peace, love and joy for all. It will be said of us and of this completed Christ, "How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!" (Is. 52:7) It will also be said of this Christ, "Behold upon the mountains the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace!" (Nahum 1:15) Paul declared that the members of this feet company are individual believers, when he wrote, "How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring good tidings of good things!" (Ro. 10:15). The message of the members of this feet company is a message of hope and joy, and of good things in the kingdom of God. It is a message that will bring deliverance to those who hear, giving them true peace and making them joyful in the Lord. When we read scriptures about the feet in other portions of the Bible, it will help us to understand that "the feet" are members of the body of Christ. In the sixth chapter of Ephesians, Paul wrote about the body of Christ being prepared to do warfare in the Spirit. Yet, what applies to the whole body applies also to each member of that body. Paul wrote that the body, and each member of it, should have on "the whole armour of God,... having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God" (Eph. 6:13-17).

If we will think about it, it seems foolish to believe that a person's literal feet could be shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace. It is therefore obvious that Paul was not referring to the literal feet of an individual, but he was really referring to the spiritual feet members of the body of Christ. In this passage, Paul is writing about the many-membered body of Christ. He is referring to those members who are of the feet company, for they must be prepared of the Spirit to declare the message of the kingdom of God, which is the gospel or good news of the righteousness, peace and love of God that is available in the kingdom of our Father. The members of the feet company are the only members of the Christ body on earth now. For this reason, the feet company are uniquely chosen as the first to declare the good news of the kingdom in this new kingdom Day. Not only shall the feet company of this body be properly shod and prepared of the Spirit, but the rest of the body also shall be arrayed in spiritual attire as if they were going out to do battle in the Name of the Lord.

Many of you may remember an old song that goes like this:

Stand up, stand up for Jesus,

            Ye soldiers of the cross;

            Lift high His royal banner,

            It must not suffer loss.

            From vict'ry unto vict'ry

            His armies shall He lead,

            Till ev'ry foe is vanquished,

            And Christ is Lord indeed!

What a glorious Day that shall be! Christ shall lead His army, which is the completed and glorified body of Christ, into total and complete victory everywhere, by the Spirit. This is beginning to take place now! He is leading us and will continue to lead us victoriously in battle until every enemy is defeated and put under His feet. Then Christ shall be both Lord and King indeed, in all places and to all people! What a hope! What a vision! And what a responsibility is ours!

This corporate body must have on the whole armor of God. We are not wrestling physically "against flesh and blood, but (spiritually) against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." Our warfare is spiritual! Therefore we will put on "the whole armour of God." We shall stand in Him, having our loins "girt about with truth." All the errors of man and the in-part truths of the past must now be discarded. Instead, we must have the fullness of the truth of God, which Christ is, wrapped all around us, along with the breastplate of righteousness and the shield of faith, protecting and shielding us from all error and the fiery darts of the wicked.

This body shall also have on "the breastplate of righteousness." If there is anything lacking in today's world it is the righteousness of Christ. The law will not do; it has already failed! Creeds and doctrines of man will not suffice; these too have already failed! Man's carnal wisdom will not measure up; for it has also fallen short! Everything man has tried has taken us to a dead-end, leaving us with more confusion and turmoil. Now, our only hope is Christ and His kingdom of righteousness, justice, peace, and love. The feet, which we are, must also be "shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace." This gospel is the Gospel or good news of the kingdom of God; it is the good news of redemption and full restoration for all. When this feet company stands forth in the Spirit to proclaim the kingdom Gospel, multitudes will hear a spiritual message they have not heard before, and will become peaceful, righteous and joyful in the Lord. Above all, this body shall also take "the shield of faith" to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. This completed Christ shall have on "the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God" (Eph. 6:11-17). Nothing shall be lacking when this anointed Christ body goes forth by the Spirit and in His Name. The whole creation will respond in faith when this anointed body is complete and fully fit and finished.

With this understanding, Isaiah's prophecy becomes more meaningful and relevant. By the Spirit, we now understand what the prophet meant, when he said, "I will make the place of my feet glorious." The place of His feet, which is the tabernacle of David that we are, is being made glorious. We know this to be true, for we are being more thoroughly processed and prepared of the Spirit. The glory of the Lord will shine forth from within us when His work in us is finished and complete. Isaiah's prophecy in the sixtieth chapter continued, by saying, "The sons also of them that afflicted thee shall come bending unto thee; and all they that despised thee shall bow themselves down at the soles of thy feet; and they shall call thee, The city of the Lord, The Zion of the Holy One of Israel" (Is. 60:14). Why should it be that the enemies of Christ will bow down at the soles of His feet? Because the feet company of the body of Christ have done their work well! They are putting satan under them and are overcoming him, thus destroying his power and bringing deliverance to every captive.

As a people or a body, we were formerly "forsaken and hated, so that no man went through thee." But the Lord is bringing forth restoration, both in us and through us, making us "an eternal excellency, a joy of many generations" (vs. 15). Then, we will receive the benefits of the nations and of their kings, and will know "that I the Lord am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob" (vs. 16). For the brass of our feet, God will give us fine gold, and for our iron He will give us silver. "I will also make thy officers (government officials and others who once were warriors) peace, and thine exactors (tax-collectors, taskmasters, those who once harassed us) righteousness. Violence shall no more be heard in thy land, wasting nor destruction within thy borders; but thou shalt call thy walls Salvation, and thy gates Praise. The sun shall be no more thy light by day; neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto thee: but the Lord shall be unto thee an everlasting light, and thy God thy glory" (Is. 60:17-19).

When the Lord reveals Himself to us as the Light, all the former darknesses of man and of evil that once were within us are dispelled. Then we may lift up our eyes in the Spirit to see great and mighty things taking place in this world by the power of the kingdom of God. When we see things in the Spirit as they really are in this world and at this time, we will then realize that our God is beginning to remove violence from our land. According to national reports, sustained prosperity has prevailed in this country for eight years and violent crime has decreased during the last six years. What has taken place here will eventually take place in every nation of the world, until it shall be said of every country on earth, "violence shall no more be heard in thy land, wasting nor destruction within thy borders." As the Light and Glory of Christ within us covers the whole earth, it shall be said of every nation, every land, and to every person on this earth, "The sun shall be no more thy light by day; neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto thee: but the Lord shall be unto thee an ever-lasting light, and thy God thy glory. Thy sun shall no more go down; neither shall thy moon withdraw itself: for the Lord shall be thine everlasting light, and the days of thy mourning shall be ended."

The Lord shall then fulfill His word and His covenants given to His people, from Genesis to Revelation, and from Adam to Christ. "Thy people shall be all righteous: they shall inherit the land for ever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified. A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation: I the Lord will hasten it in His time" (which is the present time of the Day of the Lord, Is. 60:21-22). No need for us to wonder any longer why the processings of the Lord in our lives are so difficult and severe. We are members of the feet company who are called, chosen, and set apart by our Father to tread on satan's head, putting him under our feet. Ours is a high calling, not like any other calling in the body of Christ. And to fulfill this high calling of God in Christ, we must be thoroughly washed and cleansed by the Spirit of God. As inheritors of the fullness of the glory of the kingdom of God, we must be "all righteous,... the branch of (His) planting, that (He) may be glorified." He is making us, this little one that we are, to become a thousand, and this small one that we have been, a strong nation, by the power of His Spirit. And He is hastening the fulfillment of it all in this wonderful, new Day, which is "His time!"  Amen!

All Mankind Shall Eventually Become Day Stars

All mankind are ultimately purposed of God to become "light bringers," or "day stars," according to the word of the Lord. We should all be familiar with the scriptures that refer to the salvation of all mankind. Not only shall all mankind be saved in the elementary sense, but they shall ALL partake of the Life of Christ in glorious fullness. Paul tells us, "by one man's offense death reigned by one; MUCH MORE they which receive abundance of grace shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ. Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon ALL MEN unto justification of life. For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did MUCH MORE abound: That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace REIGN through righteousness UNTO ETERNAL LIFE by Jesus Christ our Lord" (Ro. 5:17-21).

Eternal life, which is the fullness of the life of Christ, shall overwhelm sin and death, by the much greater power of the grace of God, bring-ing that eternal and abundant life to all mankind. Not one person shall be lacking the fullness of the life of Christ when God's grace has fully reigned everywhere and for all mankind. As sin abounds everywhere and in the lives of everyone now, so grace shall MUCH MORE abound to reign in all the earth, imparting the righteousness of Christ to every person everywhere. To begin this process of full redemption and restoration, God shall take His elect out of the first Adam, delivering us of all of Adam's carnality, and shall place us in the last Adam, which is Christ, to receive the fullness of His abundant Life.

It is written of the first man, Adam (not satan), who is the original seed of  man, "How are you fallen from heaven, O light-bringer and day-star (Lucifer), son of the morning! How are you cut down to the ground, you who weakened and laid prostrate the nations [O blasphemous, satanic king of Babylon!] And you said in your heart, I will ascend to Heaven; I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will sit upon the mount of assembly in the uttermost north; I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will make myself like the Most High" (Is. 14:12-14, Amplified).

One of the greatest errors of the church system is the false doctrine that Lucifer is  satan. Lucifer means "Light-bringer," or "shining one!" Satan cannot possibly have been either a "Light-bringer," or a "shining one." There is no light in satan, nor has there ever been any light within that evil one. Light is the absence of darkness, and we all should know that satan is the epitome, the embodiment, and the essence of all spiritual darkness. There is no light or truth in satan now, nor has there ever been any light or truth in him at any time in the past. Jesus said of the devil, "He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own; for he is a liar, and the father of it" (Jo. 8:44). Contrary to popular, Babylonish, religious doctrine, satan is not a fallen angel, who was named Lucifer!  Not only is satan the embodiment, the epitome, and the essence of all darkness, but he also is a murderer from his beginning! He also lacks the truth! Satan not only lacks the truth, but he is a liar and the father of all lies. Every lie that any person has ever told originated with the devil, who is the father of every lie. And satan's most concentrated effort now is to lie to God's people, telling them in their carnal minds to reject the precious truth of God, which is the very means of their salvation. Knowing that he has but a short time, the devil has come down to the elect, having great wrath (Rev. 12:12). But the true elect are turning a deaf ear to satan's lies, and are hearing instead the wonderful, liberating Truth of God by the mind of Christ! We are overcoming him by the blood of the Lamb (Rev. 12:11), for this is the Day of the reign of Christ in the earth (Rev. 12:10). We are not to be gloomy or sad at this time, but we, who dwell in heavenly places in Christ, are told to "rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them."

The footnote to Is. 14:12 in the Amplified Bible gives the following understanding of the name Lucifer: "`Light-bringer' or `Shining one' was originally translated Lucifer, but because of the association of that name with Satan it is not now used. Some students feel that the application of the name Lucifer to Satan, in spite of the long and confident teaching to that effect, is erroneous. Lucifer, the light-bringer, is the Latin equivalent of the Greek word, phos-phoros, which is used as a title of Christ in 2 Peter 1:19 and corresponds to the name `bright Morning Star' in Revelation 22:16, which Jesus called Himself. The application of the name has existed since the third century A.D., and is based on the supposition that Luke 10:18 is an explanation of Isaiah 14:12, which some authorities feel is not true." (End of quotation.)

The false doctrine of the Lucifer-Satan theory has been taught since the third century A.D. This tells us that the apostles and other inspired and anointed leaders of the early church did not teach that gross error. Such false doctrines came into prominence during the spiritual falling away, but are now being corrected by the Spirit of God. The Lord is beginning to restore all things! It is now time for us to grow up into Christ! We are being prepared for our full salvation, and to reign with Christ in His righteous kingdom. And now, all errors and false doctrines conceived in the carnal minds of men must be discarded and replaced with the pure wisdom of the mind of Christ. The kingdom of God is truth and righteousness, and all error and in-part truths of the past must be replaced with the pure truth of God.

The name Lucifer applies more correctly to Adam in his pristine state! Christ was in Adam, showing that Adam was the Son of God (Lu. 3:38) in his beginning and before the "fall." Christ is the true and only "Light-bringer"; He alone is the "Shining One." All others who might attempt to bring forth light are but impostors and deceivers! The only true Source of Light is Christ, the Spirit!  When He gives us "the morning star," we shall then manifest that great Light to the groaning creation, dispelling all the spiritual darkness everywhere, by the transforming Light of Christ that will then be within us.

Luke three, verse thirty-eight, tells us that Adam "was the son of God." Adam was more than A son of God; he was Lucifer-Christ; he was THE SON OF GOD. And as THE son of God, or as Lucifer, the Light-bringer and shining One, Adam gave names to all the animals and creatures. First, God formed all the creatures of the earth, molding each of them into the form and nature God planned for them. Then, by the inspiration of the Spirit and as Lucifer-Christ, Adam gave names to all those creatures (Ge. 2:19-20). In naming all the animals and creatures of this world, Adam, as Lucifer-Christ, also prophetically imparted to each of those animals and creatures their individuality, or their character and nature. Adam as Lucifer-Christ thus determined what part each of those creatures would have in Father's purposes for this world, and how each creature would react to the other creatures to keep a proper balance in the universe. A horse is a horse today because Adam called it a horse! Adam, as Lucifer-Christ, also declared what a horse would do for mankind in relation to all the other creatures in this world. What wisdom was then manifest through Adam, who was Lucifer-Christ before the "fall!"

It was Adam who fell from his lofty, spiritual position, not satan! Thus, it was Adam-Lucifer, in his fallen state, "who weakened and laid prostrate the nations." It was also fallen Adam who said, "I will ascend to Heaven; I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will sit upon the mount of assembly in the uttermost north; I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will make myself like the Most High." This is what fallen Adam said in his heart at his fall, and this also is what every person says who is motivated by that carnal, Adamic man. But God declared of that fallen, carnal, Adamic man, "Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol [Hades], to the inmost recesses of the pit [the region of the dead]. Those who see you (with full understanding by the Spirit) will gaze at you and consider you, saying, Is this THE MAN who made the earth tremble, who shook kingdoms?  Who made the world like a wilderness and overthrew its cities, who would not permit his prisoners to return home?" (Is. 14:12-17)

All of us must know that fallen Adam is not a single man in the world. But the Adamic nature and mind is in every person on earth, whether saved or unsaved. It is this fallen Adamic nature, mind and character in every person in the world, who has weakened and laid prostrate the nations. Were it not for old fallen Adam in every man, in association with satan, this world would be the kingdom of God on earth, without any hatred, evil, lust, or strife anywhere. Were it not for old Adam in every man, the nations of this world would be at peace with all the other nations. Then every nation and all the people in them would be peaceful, righteous, just, happy, and prosperous. The world's resources are sufficient to supply the needs of every person in the world. But the fallen, carnal, Adamic nature and mind in all mankind stands in the way of world peace and prosperity by manifesting the greed, lust, hatred, violence and intolerance of fallen Adam.

To have a righteous, just and peaceful world - for the kingdom of God to prevail in all the world - God must remove the old sinful Adamic nature and mind from every person on earth and destroy that old man completely and forever. And that is exactly what our heavenly Father intends to do and is doing! He may not do it overnight, or in the twinkling of an eye, as we think He should, but God will do it completely, faithfully and positively, in His way and according to His purposes. And when the Lord reveals new truths to us, by the Spirit, that is a wonderful part of His omnipotent purpose of bringing the fullness of the kingdom of God to the earth with all its benefits and blessings. The puny, short-sighted, and unbelieving individuals who refuse the divine truth of God, regardless on what level it may be, are but blind emissaries of the evil one. They are limiting the Holy One of Israel and are unknowingly cooperating with the devil in his deception. But by the transforming Light of Christ within us, all the darkness within them and in all others shall eventually be dispelled!

The old Adamic nature and mind in every person on earth is the same "man" who said, "I will ascend to Heaven; I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will sit upon the mount of assembly in the uttermost north; I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will make myself like the Most High." This is the "man," or the Adamic nature and spirit in every person, that has made the world systems, called Babylon, what they are today. The three-fold conglomerate world systems called Babylon (Rev. 16:19), are driven by the insatiable, greedy, and voracious Adamic nature and mind. That spirit drives every area of this world, including the three-fold realm of religion, economics, and human government. It is that spirit that seeks to ascend to heaven, exalt its throne of self above the stars of God, sit upon the mount of the assembly of self-hood, ascend above the heights of the clouds by man's ego, and try to be like the Most High. This present, corrupt world order is prophetically known as threefold Babylon, and consists of the religious, economic and political-governmental systems of man. The entire world order was created by that fallen Adamic spirit, nature and mind, so that everything in and of the world has become a quagmire of carnality, chaos and corruption. Not until we are blessed with more of the mind of Christ can we fully see and understand what a corrupt and evil thing it all is. When we are given still more of the mind of Christ, by the Spirit, we will then see that by the Light of Christ He is imparting within us now, all this darkness and evil is being dispelled.

The Adamic man, which is the carnal nature and mind in every person, is also called in scripture "leviathan," or "the dragon that is in the sea" (Is. 27:1). This "leviathan," or "dragon," dwells in the great sea of man, where he has been doing his destructive work ever since the "fall" in the Garden of Eden. The last two verses of chapter twenty-six of Isaiah's prophecy should be read along with the first verse of chapter twenty-seven, for they tell of God's plan to rid the world of this sea-monster, which is the Adamic mind and nature (not satan) in us all. Isaiah said, "Come, my people, enter into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast. For, behold, the Lord cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain." Then, chapter twenty-seven begins by saying, "In that day the Lord with his sore and great and strong sword shall punish leviathan the piercing serpent, even leviathan that crooked serpent; and he shall slay the dragon that is in the sea" (of man, see Is. 57:20).

God's purpose for this day, which is the Day of judgment upon all unrighteousness (Rev. 6:16-17), is to punish and destroy "leviathan," or the "dragon" that dwells in the great sea of man. While the Lord is dealing with that "dragon," which is the carnal, Adamic nature and mind in all mankind, we are told to enter into our chambers, or into the secret place of the most High, to fulfill the principles of the Feast of Tabernacles, until the indignation of the Lord is over. The wrath of God is not against us! We are already in the process of being purged and cleansed of all unrighteousness, and we are not the targets of the Lord's wrath. "For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ" (1 Thess. 5:9, 1:10, Ro. 5:9). The Lord has come out of His place, which shows that He is taking action against all the unrighteousness of man. No longer is our Father complacent or tolerant of man's unrighteousness, which He endured with much longsuffering (Ro. 9:22), and is due to fallen Adam's inherent tendency to do evil. Thank God! There is an answer to the world's problems, and it is found only in Christ!

By the omnipotent power of Christ, as King of kings and Lord of lords, this old Adamic nature and mind shall be removed from every person on earth and completely destroyed, making them "day stars" in the kingdom of God. When God slays "leviathan" the crooked, piercing serpent that slithers all through the great sea of man, causing many to act wickedly like the troubled sea (Is. 57:20), every carnal and evil Adamic thing will be removed from all mankind (Ps. 74:12-14). Then it shall be said of everyone, as it was said of Jesus, "the prince of this world... hath nothing in me" (Jo. 14:30). Then the principles of the fullness of the kingdom of God shall prevail every-where and in the life of every person on earth. Then our sovereign, omnipotent, and all-glorious King and Lord of all, who doeth all things well, shall receive the glory, the honor, and the praise forever and ever!  Amen!
