THE KINGDOM OF GOD COMES TO EARTH
Part Four April 2001 We have learned that the coming of the kingdom of God to the earth is also
the coming of the Spirit and power of God to the earth, specifically to the
lower heavens of the earth, to fulfill a distinct, divine purpose in all the
world. We have also grown spiritually to understand that the kingdom of God has
many parts or elements, each part having a definite purpose to fulfill in the
earth. It is also our understanding, by the wisdom of the mind of Christ, that
the kingdom of God does not come to the earth all at once. The kingdom comes to
the earth in parts or segments and at different times, each part having a
distinct purpose to fulfill for that specific period. The first coming of the kingdom of God to the earth spiritually took place
when the Seed of Christ was planted within the Lord's people (Lu. 17:20-21).
That Seed, though the smallest of all seeds, took root within the Lord's
faithful elect (Mt. 13:31-32). Then that small Seed grew to become the throne of
Christ within, establishing the spiritual reign of Christ in the lives of His
elect. And when the reign of Christ was fully established within us, we then had
no will of our own. The will of God then became our will! Our only desire and
objective now is to do the perfect will of our Father in heaven. This will
confirm the truth that the absolute and total reign of Christ is now within us.
Since Christ now fully reigns in our lives, so that we desire only His will,
the next, or Davidic, phase of the kingdom of God will come to the earth, and it
has. The will of God is the constitution, the code of conduct in the kingdom; it
is the divine arrangement under which all mankind shall eventually live; it is
the law of the Lord for all the elect to live by in this new Day of the kingdom
of God on earth. The absolute and perfect will and ways of our Father are the
principles by which all the elect are to live now. The coming of the Davidic
phase of the kingdom of God to the earth is also the coming of the throne
portion of the kingdom of God to the earth. It is the time of the establishment
of the reign of Christ over all the world. Christ is not going to reign some day; He is reigning over all the earth now,
in the initial or Davidic phase of His kingdom reign. The Davidic phase of the
kingdom of Love (God) in the earth is that portion of the kingdom reign of
Christ that must defeat every enemy and put them all under the feet of Christ.
When this Davidic phase of the kingdom is fully established, fulfilling all our
Father's purposes in this world for that portion of His kingdom, the next phase
of the kingdom of God will then come to the earth. That will be the Solomon
phase of the kingdom of God! Then righteousness, peace, joy, prosperity, and the
salvation of the Lord, will be fully established in every area of this world for
the benefit of all. What a wonderful and glorious future our Father has planned
for this spiritually darkened and sin-burdened world! And we are privileged to
have a part in bringing it all to pass! Some do not see this new kingdom Day and God's purpose for it, so they
continue on in the old, dead ways of the past, totally unaware of the will of
God for this new Day. Others put more confidence in man and in his systems than
they do in the sovereign purposes of their Father. The prophet Jeremiah
prophesied of these, when he said, "Cursed be the man that trusteth in man,
and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the Lord. For he shall
be like the heath (a barren or nude juniper bush) in the desert, and
SHALL NOT SEE WHEN GOOD COMETH; but shall inhabit the parched places in
the wilderness, in a salt land and not inhabited" (Jer. 17:5-6).
"Cursed" is not a nice word! I hesitated to use it, but could not find a
translation with a better word. This word tells us exactly what the Lord
intended to say. Yet, it is the Lord's prerogative to curse and His alone, not
any man's. We are instructed of the Lord to "bless, and curse not" (Ro.
12:14), including our enemies and those that persecute us. This may be a
difficult lesson to learn, but we must learn it well if we expect to have that
wonderful ministry of reconciliation. There are untold millions of people today, many of them Christians, who are
in that state of spiritual blindness. They are persuaded by the carnal mind to
trust in man and in man's corrupt ways. They cannot see that the Lord has
already begun to turn things around in this old world, and do something good for
mankind. To trust in man and make flesh the arm in which they put their
confidence indicates those who have departed from their Lord. They will be like
a juniper bush in the wilderness, which has been denuded of leaves and branches
by the hot, dry, scorching winds of the desert. They will be restored later, but
will not be among the firstfruits. The elect are the Lord's firstfruits; their
total trust and confidence is in the Lord and His kingdom. Their eyes will be
opened by the Spirit to see that the goodness of God (Love) is now coming to the
earth in the power and glory of His kingdom. May the Lord give us all hearing ears and seeing eyes, that we may hear and
see all our Father is doing in the earth in this great Day. THE GOODNESS OF LOVE
IS COMING TO THE EARTH, in the power and glory of the kingdom of Love. And may
we see Him and believe Him! Beloved friend, the goodness of Love (God) is coming
your way, in the Spirit and power of the kingdom of Love! He comes first to His
firstfruit saints, then to all others. There is nothing you can do to be worthy
of Him; there is nothing you can do to work your way into Love's graces; and
there is nothing you need to do that will bring Love's blessings and benefits
your way. He is coming your way; and the only thing you can do to receive Love
when He comes is to BELIEVE HIM! Jesus said, "This is the work of
God (Love), that ye believe on Him whom he hath sent" (Jo. 6:29).
The sum of all true, spiritual work is that we believe Love (God) and His Word!
And may the Lord give us all a new heart and a new spirit. May He enable us
to see the new kingdom work our Father is doing in this world, and to hear His
new kingdom word! There are many, abundant promises for those who will put all
their trust in the Lord and in His pure and unadulterated Word. The prophet
Jeremiah continued his prophecy of blessings for the faithful elect, by saying,
"Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is.
For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her
roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be
green; and shall not be careful (afraid or sorrowful) in the year of drought,
neither shall cease from yielding fruit" (Jer. 17:7-8).
The divine order for this new Day is, there shall be one-hundred-fold
fruitfulness in the lives of all the Lord's elect. There shall be endless fruit
in our lives for His glory! The thirty-fold and sixty-fold realms are passing
away. This is a new Day! It is the new Day of kingdom increase, for we are
passing from the old church order to the new and greater kingdom order. The
kingdom of God has now grown and increased to include one-hundred-fold
fruitfulness for all the elect. But in order for us to bring forth
one-hundred-fold fruit in the blessed kingdom of our Father, we must put all our
trust in the Lord. We must have ended our trust and confidence in the flesh and
in man's corrupt ways, including especially the religious and governmental
systems of man. We must now transfer that former, misdirected trust to the Lord,
and make Him our entire hope and every bit of our confidence. When we do this, by the Spirit of the Lord, we shall then become as trees
planted by the rivers of waters. Our spiritual roots will then extend to the
mighty river of God, and we will not even see when the searing, scorching,
destructive heat of the late summer comes spiritually. Our spiritual lives will
remain green and growing throughout the years, even in times of spiritual
drought. Then we shall become the tree of life that will provide saving, healing
virtue for all the people of all the nations of this world (Rev. 22:1-2). The
result of this divine sustenance and renewed Life for us will be
one-hundred-fold fruitfulness in the kingdom of our Father! One-hundred-fold fruitfulness is the result of a life that has been planted
as a tree alongside the great and mighty River of God. That person has grown
spiritually, from a mere seed within them, to become a great tree planted along
the River of God, by the Spirit. They shall drink of the refreshing waters of
that overflowing River of His Life. They grew spiritually by enduring their
tests and trials, and by overcoming the many problems and challenges of this
life, by the power of the indwelling Christ. The Tree of Life, which they are
becoming, grew and increased from a tiny Seed to become a strong, flourishing
Tree. So also is the River of God growing and increasing with the increase of
God. This is the kingdom of God in action in all the earth and more specifically
in our lives! No doubt we all know of Ezekiel's prophetic description of the River of the
Spirit. By the Spirit, the prophet was given a spiritual eye to see the waters
of Life that were flowing out from under the house of the Lord. Ezekiel saw that
a man with a measuring line went forth to measure the waters coming out from
under the house of the Lord; he went out a thousand cubits to measure the
waters. The first time the measurement was taken, the waters were to the ankles.
The second time the man measured a thousand cubits, the waters were to the
loins. The third time the same measurement was taken at the same point, they
found that those waters had become a river that could not be crossed. That River
of Life became waters to swim in (see Eze. 47:1-5); it had increased to become
an overflowing River of the abundant waters of the transforming Life of Christ
(Rev. 21:6, 22:1-2). Then Ezekiel was brought to the river where he saw "at the bank of the
river were very many trees on the one side and on the other." Each tree
along that River of Life represents individual sons of God. We are those trees
by the side of the River of Love! Each of us are drawing strength and Life from
Christ Himself, Who is that pure River of God. As we draw from Him, we shall
become the great Tree of Life, which is the body of Christ or the company of the
sons of God. That Tree shall be the very fullness of the Life of Love (God),
providing spiritual sustenance and restoration life for all the nations of the
world. The word of the Lord by the prophet Ezekiel continued with this anointed
message: "And it shall come to pass, that every thing that
liveth, which moveth, whithersoever THE RIVERS SHALL
COME, shall live: and there shall be a very great multitude of fish
(symbolic of people), because THESE WATERS SHALL COME thither:
for they shall be healed; and every thing shall live whither THE RIVER
COMETH" (Eze. 47:9). There is GOOD NEWS in the earth today! The
great and mighty, overflowing and superabounding River of Love is coming to the
earth! If we could see it, we would see that all Heaven is astir because of what
is happening there! The angels are sounding their trumpets! Lightnings,
thunderings, and voices are coming forth from the throne of Love! The four and
twenty elders are aware of a fresh, new move of the Spirit coming from the
presence of the Lord to the earth. They are getting up from their seats and
falling down before the Lamb, because of the glory of the Lord that will come to
the earth, which they are seeing. Those elders are worshiping and praising Him
that liveth forever and ever. They are casting their crowns at the feet of Him
Who reigns supreme in all the earth. They are giving Him the glory, the honor
and the praise that is due Him, for they know that He alone is worthy (Rev.
4:4-11, 11:16 & 19:4). When the four and twenty elders fell down to worship the Lamb, each one of
them began to play their harps. They also had golden vials full of the prayers
of the saints, which they offered on the throne of the Lamb, indicating that the
time of fulfillment for all those prayers had finally come. Not only were the
four and twenty elders playing their harps, but they were also singing a new
song unto the Lamb (Rev. 5:8-10). And the song they sang was a song of praise
and thanksgiving to the Lord for redeeming us to God by His blood out of every
kindred, tongue, people and nation. Those elders also gave thanks to the Lamb
for making us kings and priests unto God, and for giving us the power and the
authority to reign over all the nations of the earth. While all this spiritual
activity was taking place in the heavenlies, the voices of many angels were
heard around the throne. The number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand,
and thousands of thousands; it was an innumerable company of angels or heavenly
messengers. And they all sang with a loud voice, saying, "Worthy is the Lamb
that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and
honour, and glory, and blessing" (Rev. 5:8-14). All this wonderful and magnificent spiritual activity is taking place in the
heavens of Love's Spirit because other portions of the kingdom of Love are
coming "down" from Love (God) out of heaven to the earth. From reading the
scriptures, it is apparent that when anything of a spiritual nature takes place
in the earth, much excitement takes place among those in the heavenlies (if such
an emotion exists in the realm of Spirit). The pure and perfect goodness and
righteousness of Love are coming from the heavens to the earth! Another portion
of the kingdom of Love is also coming to the earth; it is the mighty River of
Love's Life, Light and Glory! Like everything else of the kingdom of Love, those
portions of Love's kingdom will come to the earth gradually, with no prior
disclosure or announcement, and without observation. This will change the world
progressively, step-by-step and from glory to glory. And only by the Spirit can
the elect know that Love is now doing a new and wonderful thing in the earth!
Something else is coming from heaven to the earth and it is described in
Isaiah's prophecy. "Behold, the Lord hath proclaimed unto the end of the
world, Say ye to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy salvation COMETH;
behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him. And (when His salvation
has fully come to the elect of earth) they shall call them, The holy people, The
redeemed of the Lord: and thou shalt be called, Sought out, A city not forsaken"
(Is. 62:11-12). Love wants us to know that our full and complete salvation, which is the
salvation of our entire being including our bodies, is coming from the heavens
of His Spirit to the earth. When He appears to complete our salvation, Christ
will bring our rewards with Him. He will reward His saints with that portion of
kingdom blessings that corresponds with their high calling and their individual
walk with the Lord. The prophet also tells us that the Lord's work is
"before him." In other words, there is much work yet for Love (God) to do.
Love will work during this great Day like He has never worked before. Love will
complete all the work He has already begun, bringing His people and eventually
all mankind to the completeness and fullness of pure and perfect Love. And we
shall be called "The holy people, The redeemed of the Lord: and thou shalt
be called, Sought out, A city not forsaken." The prophet also prophesied this anointed word of the Lord: "Behold,
the day of the Lord cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce
anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners out of it"
(Is. 13:9). Obviously, the King James translators had a negative mind when they
translated this passage. For example, the Hebrew word, "akzariy," which
is translated cruel, actually means terrible or cruel, of harsh action, implying
deadly, and in a good sense brave (from Strong's). But from
reading the King James translation, you get no idea of the good sense intended
here in the original language. Both the second and third phrases of this verse do show clearly that the Lord
is moving against the sinners with His passionate anger and wrath to devastate
and bring to ruin the guilty one. But we need to properly understand just who
the guilty criminal is in this verse before we attempt to interpret it. The
words, "the sinners," refers to the criminal, or to the one accounted
guilty. And that "criminal," that guilty one, is the man of sin that is within
us all. It is against this man of sin within us all that the wrath of God is
directed, not against sinful mankind in general. It is not God's plan to destroy
any person of the billions of earth's inhabitants because of their sins, but to
save them all from their sins and give them of His abundant Life. To more correctly interpret this verse, we should say it this way: The day of
the Lord is coming (which is in agreement with the date this prophecy was given,
but for us today, we know it has already come). This day is terrible, of harsh
action, burning with the Lord's brave and sincere passion, and has as its good
purpose the destruction of the man of sin within us all. He shall destroy the
works of the carnal man on this day, and will bring to ruin and desolation that
guilty criminal within us all (see Is. 13:11), which is the man of sin. Amen and
amen! The goodness of our Father is being revealed for the Lord's elect on this
great day, which is the day of the Lord, or the day of the beginning of the
reign of Christ in the earth. He shall deliver us on this Day by destroying the
man of sin that is in every one of us. What a wonderful Day this is when we can
see it as it really is, according to Love's pure and unadulterated truth and
purpose! Also on this Day, the Lord said He would do this as well: "I will
make a man more precious than fine gold; even A MAN than the golden
wedge of Ophir" (Is. 13:12). A man is growing to maturity in this day; it
is the manchild company, the sons of God, or the body of Christ. This corporate
man will be made more precious than fine gold by the Lord Himself, for He dwells
within them in all the power, glory and authority of the kingdom of Love. The
term "the golden wedge of Ophir," is a reference to the source of the
finest gold available in that day, which was the gold of Ophir. From the mines
of the region of Ophir the Israelites obtained the most precious and highly
refined gold in the days of Solomon. When the Lord completely delivers us of
this Adamic man of sin, which is within us all, we shall then become that MAN
that is more precious than the finest gold of Ophir. That MAN shall then be the
savior of the world (Obadiah 21). He shall show forth the spirit and power of
reconciliation and restoration to all mankind, bringing deliverance to the
whole, groaning creation. Another prophet, the prophet Malachi, also prophesied of this Day. He
declared, "For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all
the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that
cometh shall burn them up, saith the Lord of hosts, that it shall leave them
neither root nor branch" (Mal. 4:1). Every prophecy about this great Day
speaks of deliverance, restoration and salvation, not of war, destruction or
desolation for mankind, when properly understood by the mind of Christ. There is
but one man who does wickedly, and that man shall be made as stubble on this
Day, to be burned up in the fiery oven of the presence of the Lord. And that one
man is the carnal, Adamic man, the man of sin that is in every person. The Lord
shall bring forth the fullness of His salvation on this great Day by removing
that old man of sin from all mankind, beginning with His elect and chosen ones.
The prophet continued his anointed prophecy, by saying, "But unto you
that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his
wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the
stall. And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the
soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the Lord of hosts"
(Mal. 4:2-3). Christ, the Sun of righteousness, shall arise with healing and
delivering power for those who truly fear or respect His name, which includes
His nature and His authority. By this rising of Christ within them to deliver
them, or by the reign of Christ to put every enemy under their feet, those elect
ones shall then ascend to the highest of the heavens to commune with their
Father, in the Spirit and by the Spirit. They will grow up spiritually to tread
down the wicked man that is also within them. That old, carnal man shall then be
as ashes under our feet, thus bringing "him" to "his" final end. The prophet Micah also spoke of this Day, when he said, "the day of thy
watchmen and thy visitation cometh" (Mic. 7:4). The watchmen are those who
have the ability of a prophet. The word "watchmen," from the original means to
lean forward, to peer into the distance, by implication, to observe, await (from
Strong's). The watchmen are all the elect of this great Day. They are leaning
forward and looking up to the realm of the Spirit. They are observing all that
God is doing now, believing it, and awaiting all He shall yet do in the earth,
by His Spirit. Each of the elect is a prophet, for the Lord has anointed them
with the Spirit and power of Elijah. They have the ability to see in the Spirit
and to restore, by the power and authority of the spirit of Elijah, which is
that portion of the Spirit of God that restores all things. Back in the days of Moses, he had just appointed seventy elders to shoulder
some of the responsibility for the Israel nation and people. The Lord came down
in a cloud in the midst of the people and anointed the seventy elders with the
same spirit that was upon Moses. After this, two men among them began to
prophesy in the camp. One young man ran to Moses and told him about those two
who were prophesying in the camp. Joshua asked Moses to forbid those two men to
prophesy. But Moses replied, "would God that all the Lord's people were
prophets, and that the Lord would put his spirit upon them" (see Num.
11:24-29). In this new Day, the Lord has raised up and anointed the best trained
and the most mature of His people. He put their feet on the path to sonship, and
has also anointed each one of them with the anointing of the prophet Elijah.
This made is possible for them to see in the Spirit and to minister restoration,
by the Spirit and power of Elijah, which was given them by the Lord.
The day of thy watchmen is also the day when "thy visitation cometh."
In other words, this Day is also the day of our visitation. It is the day when
we shall be visited by the Spirit of the Lord. In that visitation to come, the
true sons of God shall experience their full salvation. They shall be
transformed in their bodies and brought to a full and complete manifestation of
their sonship, which is the manifestation of the sons of God. It will be that
blessed in-a-moment, in-the-twinkling-of-an-eye experience, when they shall be
changed into the full image and likeness of the risen and glorified Christ of
God. The Spirit's Work: To Give the People A Desire For the Lord There is an obscure and little-known verse of scripture tucked away in the
Proverbs of Solomon that has been mightily quickened to me by the Spirit. And it
is this word: "Hope deferred maketh the heart sick: but when the
desire cometh, it is a tree of life" (Pro. 13:12). What a wealth
of truth there is in this verse, especially when the Spirit quickens it to us
and reveals the many-sided truths of the kingdom of Love that may be found in
these few words. The blessed hope we all have is for a better and more fulfilled life without
sorrow, pain and suffering, in the kingdom of our Father. This is our true,
inner desire; and it is supported by many scriptures and by the Spirit of truth.
This blessed hope is not only our hope, it is the hope of every person who has
ever lived, or who will yet live, in this world. Generations of people have come
and gone, yet every one of them nurtured this unrealized hope and desire within
them. It may not always have been expressed outwardly, but that hope, that
desire, was within every person nevertheless. And so it is today! Every man,
woman, and child has within them this blessed hope. They are nurturing that hope
within, looking forward to the day when that blessed hope and desire will become
a living reality. The blessed hope of the benefits and blessings of the kingdom of God are
often expressed by many of us. When we desire a better job, or home, good health
for our family, financial prosperity and security, and a life free of the
worries, concerns and frustrations of this world, we are expressing that desire.
Although many achieve these benefits in this life, they may not be fully aware
that the reality of the blessed hope within them has not yet been fully
realized. They may assume that a better life in this world IS the blessed hope,
even though the reality of it can only be found in the Spirit. Those who are spiritual will suffer the heart sickness described by Solomon.
They know that the things of this world can never satisfy, nor can those worldly
things replace the blessed hope of the kingdom of God that is within them. All
people everywhere have this blessed hope within them, even though they may
mistakenly believe that the things of this world are satisfying that inner
desire. But the real hope that is within us all awaits the fullness of time! It
is all coming to us in the power and glory of the fullness of the kingdom of
Love! Thus, the real, true hope, the hope of the kingdom of Love, has been
deferred or delayed. And "Hope deferred maketh the heart sick."
Is your heart sick because this blessed hope is deferred? Is there a longing
for reality in your life that you know has so far been unfulfilled? Look up,
lift up your heads and rejoice, for the morning of this new Day is soon to dawn
when that blessed hope will no longer be deferred! The desire that we all have
within us for the blessings and benefits of the kingdom of Love shall then be
brought to fruition. When that blessed hope, or that desire within, is deferred,
we are then like a fruit tree that has not yet grown to maturity, to bring forth
fruit. But when, like that fruit tree, we are fully grown, matured and
perfected, the divine purpose for our very being, or our inner desire, shall
then be fully realized, to become desire fulfilled and hope realized. And
"when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life." The
original word translated "desire," means a longing, a delight, to wish for, and
includes satisfaction. The great secret or mystery regarding the fulfillment of all things in the
kingdom of Love is with the Lord. The Spirit of Love is the Key that must unlock
all the unfulfilled, prophetic promises of God. Unless the Lord opens the doors
of kingdom blessings and benefits, they shall all remain tightly closed. Unless
the Spirit of the Lord fulfills the blessed hope and desire within us all, that
hope and that desire is deferred or delayed. That hope and desire shall remain
as a deep, dark secret within the inner recesses of our spirits, awaiting the
work of the Spirit to awaken that desire within us, and make it a tree of life.
And the Spirit of the Lord is beginning to do that work now within His elect. I
know He is doing it within me, and I believe He must also be doing that same
kingdom work within the lives of all who are called and chosen to walk with Him
unto His fullness. Father is even now awakening the desire for the blessings and benefits of the
kingdom of God within His elect. Hope shall no longer be deferred! The desire
for the kingdom has come! Hope deferred made our hearts sick, but the desire for
His kingdom has come, thus reversing that deferment and canceling the
postponement that was against us and that was making our hearts sick. No longer
is hope deferred, for the desire for our Father's kingdom is being awakened
within us. And that awakened, renewed, revitalized and rekindled desire for the
kingdom of Love within us is becoming a tree of life, by the Spirit of the
living God. What glorious wonders await us all in this great Day of the kingdom
of Love on earth! Blessed be the Name of the Lord, Who always does all things
well! The Lord has awakened the desire for the kingdom of Love (God) within us, by
His Spirit. He has also put us into the school of the Spirit, to teach us to
hear His word, and to receive new truths for this glorious new Day in which we
now live. To walk with our Father in the light of this new Day, we must become
more spiritual. Our past level of spiritual understanding will not suffice in
this new Day. New things are now coming forth out of the heavenlies of God's
Spirit to the earth, and we must be able to hear what the Spirit is saying in
this new Day. Since the desire for our Father's kingdom has been awakened within
us, by the Spirit, the new truths of the kingdom of Love await our new
understanding of the higher and more superior ways of His kingdom. We must be
changed by the Spirit! Then we shall be taught new things in the school of the
Spirit, for this new Day. And our ability to change begins with repentance!
Repentance enables us to turn away from the dead past, and to embrace, with
some measure of understanding, the principles of this new Day of the kingdom of
Love. Repentance prepares us and makes us receptive to new truths! It makes us
pliable and flexible, so that we will easily bend to the perfect will and ways
of our Father for this new Day. There is a new kingdom highway for us to walk on
in this new Day, and we can only walk it in repentance and humility! Repentance
keeps us humble before the Lord and before others, while we walk a unique, new
spiritual path that has been reserved only for Father's elect and chosen sons
from before the foundation of the world. Others may assume that we are proud and
arrogant because of our high calling in God, but the tests and trials of this
life will keep us repentant, contrite and humble. Repentance was required in the
beginning of the church age (see Acts 17:29-30 & 26:20), and it is just as
necessary today, for we have entered another new age in God's economy.
Although we see a need for repentance and a turning away from the things of
the past, there are many experiences of the past that are useful and necessary
in this new Day. For example, the Lord has led us through the years so that we
now know the way He leads us, how He leads us, and what He uses to lead us day
by day. Only by experience can we know the way of the Spirit for our individual
lives. The Lord usually leads us differently than He does others. He will give
dreams to some to lead them in the right path, and others will receive visions
from the Lord. But all of us have been trained to HEAR the Voice of our Beloved.
Those experiences of the past should be remembered and cherished, for by them
our Father trained us to hear His voice and then to be obedient to that Voice.
Jesus said, "I am the Good Shepherd and I know and recognize My
own, and My own know and recognize Me. The sheep that are My own hear and are
listening to My voice, and I know them and they follow Me,
And I give them eternal life, and they shall never lose it or perish throughout
the ages - to all eternity they shall never by any means be destroyed. And no
one is able to snatch them out of My hand. My Father, Who has given them to Me,
is greater and mightier than all else; and no one is able to snatch them out of
the Father's hand, I and the Father are One" (Jo. 10:14, 27-30, Amplified).
To be able to hear our Lord's voice is, I believe, the highest privilege ever
afforded to any man. It is a high and holy privilege learned through sometimes
difficult but necessary experiences in this life. Very often through the years,
I heard a voice speaking within me and directing me as I ran an errand. For
example, there were times when that inner voice would tell me not to leave home
without taking a part that I needed to replace. The voice was so still and quiet
within that my carnal mind overruled that voice and I went on my way to run that
errand. When I arrived at the destination, I often discovered that the voice I
heard was the correct voice - it was His Voice - and I would have saved myself
another trip if I had listened to Him. But I did not know it was His Voice until
the experience was over. In this way we have often learned to hear the Voice of
our Beloved. I have had many such experiences, and I am sure you have also.
Through those minuscule and insignificant but necessary experiences, we learned
to hear and obey the Voice of our Beloved. I am sure I told this experience before, but it merits repeating here. While
ministering to thousands in Nigeria over forty years ago, the Lord spoke a word
within me, informing me to tell the lame to get up and walk in Jesus' Name.
Since I had been trained to hear His still, small Voice, I recognized it as His
Voice, and did what He told me to do. When I told the lame and the halt to get
up and walk in Jesus' Name, they got up and walked as if they had never been
lame. The thousands of people present began to shout and praise the Lord when
they saw the lame walking without the cane or walking stick they brought with
them when they came to that meeting. Hundreds of Nigerians accepted Christ as
their Savior because I obeyed that still, small Voice within. Multitudes were healed, delivered and saved during those meetings. But just
as important for me, for the kingdom of God, and for the whole creation, were
those experiences of hearing, knowing and obeying His voice. Every experience we
have had of a similar nature, which taught us to hear, know, and obey the Voice
of our Lord, no matter how insignificant those experiences were, was a necessary
part of our training unto sonship. It is that same Voice that will speak to our
innermost being when we have reached the top of the mountain of His presence and
glory. That Voice will call to the Spirit within us, changing us into His image
and likeness, and releasing the whole creation from its bondage to sin and
death. This will result in a much greater deliverance than anything we have
witnessed in the past, for this is the Day of one-hundred-fold fruitfulness in
the kingdom of God. What a wonderful and glorious Word this is for all the elect:
"The sheep that are My own hear and are listening to My voice, and I know them
and they follow Me, And I give them eternal life, and they shall never
lose it or perish throughout the ages - to all eternity they shall never by any
means be destroyed." These three things are vital and necessary in our
relationship with our Father: hearing, listening, and following Him.
The sheep that are His own, who are the elect and chosen sons of God, hear and
are listening to His voice. The wording of this passage tells us that the Lord
is always speaking, for His own "are listening (continually) to My
(His) voice." The most important thing any of us can do now is to
hear, listen to and obey His voice. Most Christians serve and worship the Lord
by busily praying, witnessing, or speaking. Rarely will they remain quiet long
enough to hear and listen to their Lord. But that is not true of the elect! They
hear their Father speak, they listen to Him, and they also follow Him. They know
this is the only way they shall be transformed, to become fully matured and
perfected, manifest sons of God. We hear and listen to His Voice and we also follow Him as He leads us. In
hearing, listening, and following the Lord, we are being changed to receive
eternal life, or the abundant Life of Christ for the eternal future. "And
they shall never lose it or perish throughout the ages - to all eternity they
shall never by any means be destroyed." Amen and amen! Furthermore, "no
one is able to snatch them out of My hand." We are safe and secure in the
hands of our loving, merciful and caring Father! He will complete the work He
has already begun in us, for His glory! And nothing or no one, whether human or
spirit, shall ever take us out of His caring, masterful and creative hand!
The Multitudes of the World Given a Desire for His Kingdom Father is awakening the desire for His kingdom within His elect. I also sense
by the Spirit that He is doing the same thing in the lives of many others who
are out in the world, without the knowledge of God and His kingdom. Father
cannot possibly gather all the unsaved of this world into the churches, temples
and houses of man's religion in this Day. But He is going to awaken the desire
for the kingdom of God within each and every one of them, wherever they are,
regardless of the circumstances in their lives, and without gathering them
physically into churches or buildings. Then those multitudes will come to
Christ, acknowledging Him as their Savior, Lord and King! They will also seek
Him and His truth! Then they will desire the reign of Christ in their individual
lives! This could be taking place now in the lives of some in this world,
without any earthly announcement, and without being seen or observed by any
others any where in this world. The Spirit revealed to me that He is even now dealing with many other people
in this world, who are far from God. He is speaking to their innermost spirits,
by His Spirit, making them aware of His presence, His power and His kingdom, and
is drawing them unto Himself. Without the old, customary, churchy, altar calls,
and without the sinner's prayer being prayed over them, people are being drawn
to the Lord, by His Spirit. He is awakening that desire within them for the
kingdom of God, that they might know the King of all kings and His saving,
delivering power. Then they will know that He alone is able to give them the
fulfillment of their innermost desires and the realization of the hope that was
once deferred but which is now being awakened, to be fulfilled in their lives.
And when that desire within them is awakened by the Spirit, it will become a
tree of life. That awakened desire will give them a new Life, which will become
within them the Life of Christ in fullness! The Spirit of the Lord will make it
real for them, just as He has for us! The next few verses of the thirteenth chapter of Proverbs tells more about
the Life we all desire, and reads as follows: "Whoever despises the Word [of
God] brings destruction upon himself, but he who (reverently) fears and respects
the commandment [of God] shall be rewarded. The teaching of the wise is a
fountain of life, that one may avoid the snares of death" (Pro. 13:13-14,
Amplified). With all the kingdom truth that is now coming forth, by the Spirit,
it is obvious that the Lord is leading us to seek for that Life that will
transform us and raise us up to the fullness of Christ. The kingdom of God is a
spiritual kingdom. Therefore, the truths of the kingdom are truths that pertain
to the Spirit, and to the way and the Life of the Spirit of God. It is also the
Life of Christ that will deliver the whole creation from its long and painful
bondage to sin and death, by the Spirit, and establish the fullness of the
kingdom of Love in every segment of the groaning, travailing creation, that the
Lord alone may be glorified. The word of the Lord and His commandments are now coming forth in the midst
of the elect and chosen ones, by the Spirit. It is God's Word that we should
respect and obey, which will give us our rewards in His kingdom. To ignore our
Father's Word is not something the elect will do, for we are of those who
reverently fear and respect His holy Word. We obey Him with unwavering faith and
love for our Father and His kingdom. Our respect for the Word of God, as well as
our obedience to that Word, will reward us with His Life. As we walk with the
Lord in the light of this new Day, we realize His teachings are as a fountain of
Life, helping us avoid the snares of death. Everything about this new Day and the truths now coming forth are appointed
of the Spirit to bring us to maturity. More than ever before, we may hear the
Spirit saying, "the Sun of righteousness (is) arise (arising) with healing
in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of
the stall." It is time for us to grow up! The time has come when we must
put aside the childish things of the past and grow to full maturity in Christ.
There was a time when prophecies flourished and were greatly anointed of the
Spirit. But now, prophecy is failing, for the Spirit is no longer anointing that
which was inpart and of the past. Tongues once blessed the people of God, but
they too, have ceased. We once enjoyed the knowledge given and revealed by the
Lord, and that has also vanished. But Love never fails - never fades out or
becomes obsolete or comes to an end. "For our knowledge is fragmentary (incomplete and imperfect), and our
prophecy (our teaching) is fragmentary (incomplete and imperfect). But when the
complete and perfect [total] comes, the incomplete and imperfect will vanish
away - become antiquated, void and superseded. When I was a child, I talked like
a child (saying all the things a spiritual child will say, such as prophesying
and speaking in tongues), I thought like a child (thinking in terms of church
order and church administration), I reasoned like a child (promoting the ways of
man); now that (or, when) I have become a man, I am done with childish
ways and have put them aside" (1 Cor. 13:8-11, Amplified).
The coming of another portion of the kingdom of God to the earth is also the
coming of more of Love to the earth. And Love, which God is, is that which is
complete, total and perfect. Nothing can ever be added to Love, for He is
perfect and complete. And nothing can ever be taken away from Love; for He is
inseparable, indivisible, and is one in and with all that exists spiritually!
There is nothing in the universe that is greater than Love! God is Love, and He
is greater than all! There is nothing that shall ever supersede Love, for the
Love that He is is greater far than anything else could ever be. The divine standard for this new Day now tells us that if we have become an
adult, spiritually speaking, we are done with the childish ways of the past and
have put them all aside. A spiritual child revels in the childish ways of the
past. He or she enjoys those childish ways, and continues to work and labor
feverishly under the old church order. But when we grow up and become spiritual
adults in the more glorious kingdom of our Father, we will then put away the
childish toys of the past, and will receive with joy that which is perfect and
complete, which is more of Love, or more of God and His kingdom. The real truth of the matter is clearly stated by the apostle Paul. He wrote
to say, "But when the complete and perfect [total] comes, the incomplete and
imperfect will vanish away - become antiquated, void and superseded." Moving
from church order to the higher kingdom order, or from Pentecost to Tabernacles,
is not a matter of us making up our carnal minds to walk a certain spiritual
path. Paul makes it clear that when the complete and total comes, which is Love
or God in greater fullness within us; the incomplete and imperfect will simply
vanish away. The old order will then become antiquated, void and superseded. We
just need to drink in of the Spirit of God and receive more of Christ, as He is
being revealed in this new Day. Then all the old, dead things of the past will
simply fall away from us. The new Life within us will drive out all that is dead
and of the past! Several years ago, I looked out a window and saw an apple tree as it appeared in the dead of winter. When I looked more closely, I saw that a few apples were still clinging to that tree, blowing in the wintry winds, even though most of the leaves had fallen off. I watched that apple tree all through the winter and saw that those old, dead apples continued to hang on to that tree. When Spring arrived and the sun warmed things up a bit, the sap started to rise in that apple tree. Sprouts appeared on that tree, to show that leaves were forming because of the new life within the tree. Then, those dead apples began to fall off that tree because of the new life that now flowed within that apple tree. So it is with us! When the new Life of Christ, as He is revealed in this new kingdom Day, enters into us, all that old stuff will simply fall off of us. When the complete and perfect Christ comes into us, all that was of the inpart and imperfect realm will vanish away! Paul and Emily Mueller P O BOX 25055, PORTLAND, OR 97298-0055
