A PREPARED PEOPLE WITH A HOLY PURPOSE

Part Thirteen

January 2000

We consider it a privilege and an honor to be called of God and led by His Spirit to continue writing these messages of truth for the Lord's elect into this new century. This may well be another time of new beginnings in a new Day for those whose spiritual eyes and ears have been opened by the Spirit of God. Old things are rapidly passing away, and new things in the Spirit are being revealed. These new things are not to be considered lightly and then dismissed with little concern for a change in our walk with God. A new spiritual order is being established in the earth; it is the new order of the kingdom of God in all the earth! The administration, government, and discipline of the Lord's elect in the kingdom of God is changing, and we also must change, according to the degree of that greater, spiritual change. With this change or transition, we are called of our Father to repent of the past order of things and allow Him to change our walk to be conformed to the new and higher principles of His kingdom. Our Father is preparing us for something grand and glorious; we are being prepared for the greater fullness of His kingdom!

Several years ago, we were impressed of the Spirit to gather occasionally with our local friends, not for teaching or preaching, but only to sing and worship the Lord. The Spirit of the Lord did a wonderful work among us, knitting us together and revealing Himself to us in a new and greater way. Doris Meliza, who played the piano for us while Emily played the organ during those inspiring times of worship, passed away last summer. Another, more recent and younger friend, Lillian McFarland, also passed away of cancer earlier last year. While we all greatly miss both Doris and Lillian and their refreshing, joyful presence, we know they graduated to the heavenly realm and are in a far better place. On one Sunday in January of 1988, the Lord spoke in prophecy through our beloved friend, Juanita McCorkle. (Doris Meliza and Juanita McCorkle are sisters in the flesh.)

The Lord said through Juanita, "For soon and very soon thou shalt see many changes coming about, even in thine own lives. And thou shalt look about and others will detect no change, but thou shalt know that there is a change within thee and there is a change within thy brother. And thou shalt behold, for thou shalt see with eyes of the Spirit. And thou shalt speak forth a word that shall even change others. And even thy presence shall bring it forth - a change in those that thou art communing with. And thou shall see this change and thou shalt know that thus saith the Lord hath made a change. Even in thine environment, even in the atmosphere, in all things about thee thou shalt be the one that will make the change, for it shall be God within thee that is living and dwelling and moving out from thy very being."

I quote this prophecy now, for it has been fulfilled in every detail in our lives and in the world around us. Notice how often the Spirit of God used the word "change" in this prophecy to tell us what He was going to do. Change is the order of this new Day! All who are among the elect of the Lord are being changed by the Spirit of God. And now, we are able to see things in the Spirit as they really are. Now we can see some changes, not only in our own lives, but also in the lives of others and in the world around us. The environment of this earth and the atmosphere of the spiritual heavens has been changed, and we are better off because of these wonderful, spiritual changes. While we can see these changes, by the Spirit, many others around us cannot see a thing. As the prophetic word of the Lord stated, others would not detect any changes. Their spiritual eyes and ears are not yet opened by the Lord, therefore, they cannot see and hear all that God has done in this new Day. Many cannot even see that a new Day has begun due to their own spiritual blindness. They walk on in the old ways of the past not knowing that our Father has changed the order!

Lord Alfred Tennyson, the famous Victorian poet of England and son of a clergyman who lived in the nineteenth century, wrote these words of inspired truth: "The old order changeth, yielding place to the new, and God fulfills Himself in many ways." The old order of the church is gone forever, and the new order of the kingdom of God has come to the earth. The Lord removed His Spirit from that former order, that He may establish the second and greater order, which is the order of the kingdom of God in all the earth. And when the order changes, God fulfills Himself and His purposes for this world in many other ways. The Lord changed the order by speaking a word within His elect. Those who heard that word and received it have become new wine vessels, recreated of our Father to receive the new wine of the kingdom of God. The spiritual changes we have witnessed signal a new order of better things for His people and for the world. We have passed from one spiritual realm to another by repentance and the leading of the Spirit. The changes that took place in our lives are now manifest in the world all around us.

The changes began within us! By the workings of the Spirit, we have become the firstfruits of the kingdom of God. The Lord spoke to us, giving us the desire to do only His will. We responded to that inner voice of the Spirit by saying, "Lo, I come to do thy will, O God." With that simple expression of the Spirit within us, the whole process of change began. We then saw that the Lord "taketh away the first, that He may establish the second" (He. 10:9). The Lord wrought the changes in us by our repentance and travail that resulted from our tests and trials. He took the old order out of us so completely that nothing was left of the old to contaminate the new. New wine cannot be put into old vessels, nor can the new wine be mixed with the old. The old wine must be removed from us before the new can be poured in. Thus, this transition time has been a strange time of changes, of pouring out and stripping, and of recreating new vessels. And when He stripped us, the Lord filled the emptiness within with more of His presence.

Before we can ever become true pioneers and representatives of the kingdom of God, fully fit and qualified to administer His kingdom in this world, we must be completely stripped of the former order. It is not enough to leave the church system, but all the elements of the old church order must be taken out of us. Only when we are fully cleansed of those old ways can we be true representatives of the new order of the kingdom of God on earth. With ever increasing holy zeal, the Lord has been stripping His elect and chosen ones of the former ways of the old church order. Others may continue to do their own thing, walking in the old ways of the past order, but those who are being set aside for His holy purposes for this new Day are confined to the perfect will of their Father. We have no other choice in God but to do the will of Him who called us to this awesome and holy calling. His will and ways for the wonderful new order of the kingdom of God on earth are very different from His will and ways for the past order of the church. Now we are becoming His perfect will in the earth. In BECOMING His will, we will then do it with the zeal of the Lord of hosts.

The great truth of this hour is that our Father is creating us in His image and likeness. The wonderful work He is doing in us is part of that holy purpose. Father's creative work within us is being fulfilled as He continues to remove from us all that relates to the past order of things. He may separate us from all outward fellowship so we must fellowship only with Him. He also may confine us and close all other doors to us, shutting us in to Himself, and cutting off all other voices but His. We may feel lonely and confined, but the real purpose of our loving Father is to continue His grand work of making us His kingdom firstfruits, and creating us in His image and likeness.

The sovereign plan and purpose of our loving Father is being fulfilled in us more now than any time in the past. Christ has become the absolute Lord and King in our lives. He is exercising His sovereignty in our lives more now than any time in the past. If we try to plan something, He is right there to exert His Lordship in that situation. This time of transition is strange indeed, especially according to our old mind set. There will be many changes in our lives, and in the world at large. But the end result will be the full manifestation of the peace, justice and righteousness of the kingdom of God. Its blessings and benefits will be ours to minister to all mankind, and the whole creation shall have access to the abundance of His kingdom.

As we progress spiritually through this strange time, we are making a significant transition. The Lord is exercising His sovereign dominion in our lives by leading us out of the old order and into the new. We are becoming our Father's new administrative order for the kingdom of God on earth. Without a doubt, we may understand that we are the people who have grown spiritually so that we are the firstfruit overcomers. We have progressed beyond the spiritual nakedness, lukewarmness, blindness, self-satisfaction and self-righteousness of the Laodicean church order. The Lord rebuked and chastened us so that we repented of our former ways (Rev. 3:19). When the Lord knocked on the "door" of our hearts and lives and began to speak to us, we heard His still, small voice and invited Him in to sup or commune with us (Vs. 20). And now we are among the ranks of the overcomers. Of the overcomers, which we are, it is written, "To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne" (Rev. 3:21). We also are "a kind of firstfruits of His creatures" (Ja. 1:18), or a firstfruits of the whole creation.

As the firstfruits of the new order of the kingdom of God, we are called of God to create and lay down a new highway to the greater glories of the kingdom for all to follow. This means that we must be and will be the first to experience all the spiritual wonders that are ahead of us. Among the unfulfilled promises, covenants and principles, is the New Covenant, which must be walked out and fulfilled in a remnant before the full benefits and blessings of the kingdom of God can be fulfilled in the lives of any others. The elect of the Lord must begin walking according to the higher principles of the New Covenant, for it is a covenant of promise given for the full salvation of the remnant of Israel first, and then of all mankind.

If all the previous covenants given by God for each of the ages of man were complete and without "fault," the Lord would not have needed to reveal a new covenant. The "fault" was not with God's plan, for He always does all things well. The "fault" was with the people, "because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord." It is my firm conviction that there will be no "fault" found with this present generation, for we must be the last generation; we are the forty-second generation, which is the generation of the fullness of Christ (see Mt. 1:17). We have come before our Father, declaring that we would do all His holy will, thereby becoming His will in the earth. As the generation of Christ and the firstfruits of the creation, it is our responsibility, by the leading of the Spirit, to walk according to the higher principles of the New Covenant, thus fulfilling it and bringing its blessings and benefits to all mankind.

The New Covenant is given in both the old and the New Testament, and reads as follows, "Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will MAKE a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt. For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people: And they shall not teach every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest. For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and iniquities will I remember no more. In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away" (see He. 8:7-13 and Jer. 31:31-34).

When the Lord said He would MAKE a new covenant with the house of Israel, He meant far more than the English word "make" implies. The Lord was actually saying that He would execute and complete entirely that new covenant. By this, the Lord was declaring that His people, who are partners with Him in this covenant, would agree completely with its conditions and principles, and would do them all without hesitation. He would prepare the hearts of the people in advance with whom He would make that new covenant in such a way that they would be ready to receive that new covenant, to live and walk according to all its principles, conditions, and practices. Under the old, previous covenant, the people were at fault. They failed to continue observing the Lord's principles, which governed the fulfillment of that covenant. But in this new Day, the Lord will not tolerate any failure on the part of His people. He has prepared a people for this new covenant who shall keep all its conditions and principles. And that prepared people with a holy purpose will not fail to walk and live according to all His holy principles and conditions.

The old church-order covenant of the past is decaying and waxing old. It is being removed spiritually, to be carried away by the wind of the Spirit. That old order is being replaced with a much better covenant, with better promises, to be administered by a High Priest Who has a more excellent ministry, and a more excellent name (He. 1:4). Regarding Christ and the greater works He said we would do in this new Day, it is written, "But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of A BETTER COVENANT, which was established upon BETTER PROMISES" (He. 8:6). God's people have not yet fully entered into the fulfillment of that New Covenant. Some may think they have, but when we study every detail of that covenant, we will soon see how far we are from walking and living according to its higher and more spiritual principles and conditions.

The first principle of that New Covenant is, "I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts." Without a doubt, this divine principle is being fulfilled in every one of our lives. The old law that was written on stone and paper is being replaced with the new law that is to be written on our hearts. The law of the Lord, which includes the principles of the kingdom of God, including grace, mercy, and divine love, is being written and engraved on the tables of our hearts, causing us to do by nature the things contained in the law of the Lord. Also, the word of the Lord, that guides us and leads us as we make our way through this wilderness, is also written on the tables of our hearts and minds. It is His word that is as a lamp unto our feet and a light upon our pathway, as we walk out our predestined pathway to consistently do the will of our Father every day.

We may think we are stumbling through life as if we were blind and deaf, but we really are walking out a predetermined course in this life, by the wisdom of God, which He has written on our hearts and minds. Each one of us is a unique individual in the kingdom of our Father. Our paths in this world are not the same, for we are each different and unique individuals. But every one of us are being led by the same Spirit, many of us with the same destiny and purpose in God. Because of our individual differences, each one of us has a distinct set of tests and trials, which were ordained of our Father to meet our very unique and individual needs, according to His plan for us. My trials may not be as severe as yours, or your trials may not be as severe as mine. They are just different, according to Father's plan for each one of us. It has often been said that our Father is not making us to be like bricks, all the same as if produced in a factory. He is making stones, precious, lively stones, each one different, yet each one a part of the Christ and destined to come forth in His image and likeness.

Although we are unique individuals, led by the same Spirit, we are purposed of our Father to attain to all His fullness. We cannot grow to His fullness by our own strength or our own will. Only by the strength, power and wisdom of God can we attain to His fullness. Our Father programmed us to do all His holy will, according to His sovereign purpose for us, by writing His law and His word on the tables of our hearts. When our Father wanted us out of the church system, He wrote His word on our hearts, which caused us to leave it, with the assurance that it was the will of God and the right thing for us to do. When our Father wants us to live and move and walk in obedience to the higher principles of the kingdom of God, He will write that new kingdom word on the tables of our hearts. And when our Father writes His word on the tables of our hearts and minds, that word, which is Spirit made flesh (Jo. 1:14), will always produce a corresponding action in our lives. It is impossible for us to remain the same when our Father has written that new word of the kingdom of God on the tables of our hearts!

Referring to the next principle of the New Covenant, the Lord said, "I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people." This divine principle is also being fulfilled in our lives today. After the Lord called us out of the church system, He began removing the old, dead church order from our hearts, including our allegiance to the leaders of the church system. Then He delivered us of the many other gods and lords that were in our lives. The prophet Isaiah revealed our condition, when he said, "O Lord our God, other lords beside thee have had dominion over us: but by thee only will we make mention of thy name. They are dead, they shall not live; they are deceased, they shall not rise: therefore hast thou visited and destroyed them, and made all their memory to perish" (Is. 26:13). Hopefully, all those "other lords" no longer have dominion over us. Only by His power and the leading of His Spirit could we be delivered of those "other lords." If there are any of them left within us to influence our lives, the Lord will reveal it to us and will deliver us of their power and influence.

Our Father is a jealous God (Ex. 20:3-4)! He will not allow us to have any other gods or lords in our lives, including the worldly god of mammon. Old Testament believers had literal images and gods that they worshiped. That is rarely seen now. New Testament Christians do not generally worship such images and idols. But some do worship the god of mammon, or the love of money, which is one of the gods of this world. Mammon is an Aramaic word, meaning, wealth personified, avarice deified. It is the love of money, including the act of personifying or deifying money or wealth. Some Christians worship money and wealth, and what it can do for them. But Jesus plainly said, "ye cannot serve God and mammon" (Mt. 6:24).

Our Father must be our only and exclusive God, Head, Lord, and King, with nothing else in our lives that could interfere with His sovereign authority and dominion. If we entertain or worship any other image, thing, or person in our hearts and minds, that would interfere with His sovereign and exclusive Fatherhood, Headship, Lordship, and Kingship, that image, thing, or person must be removed from us. All other lords must die to us, for none of them can be an influence in our lives any longer. Christ alone shall be our exclusive Lord and King! The influence of all other lords must perish from our memory before we can live and walk according to the principles of the New Covenant.

Not only will our Father be a God to us, in the full sense of the word, but we shall be His people, His elect and chosen ones, and the firstfruits of His creatures. We shall be all this to Him, without hesitation, without restrictions, without compromise, and with nothing between us and God. He is our God and our Father exclusively and without compromise. Yet, He was all this and more to us long before we knew it! We are His elect and chosen ones exclusively and without compromise. We became all this to Him by the workings of His sovereign and omnipotent Spirit within us! And He will continue working within us, making us purely His, until there is nothing left within us to interfere with our pure and abiding, single-eye, one-on-one relationship with Him (see Rev. 3:20).

The next part of the New Covenant describes the activity, or lack of it, of the people of that covenant. "And they shall not teach every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest." This part of the New Covenant foretells an end to the old church order practices of teaching and preaching. There is no longer any spiritual life for the elect in any of those religious habits. God has now moved beyond that realm of the former, church order, to the new and higher order of the kingdom of God. Rather than teaching, our purpose in these writings is to confirm God's word to all who read!

The Spirit of the Lord described the coming forth of a people who would be partners with God in that covenant. They no longer listen to the teaching and preaching of others. And I also strongly embrace that God-given vision! Someone might debate the matter with me by suggesting that all do not yet know the Lord, so we still need to teach and to preach. To that weak and unscriptural argument, I reply by saying it is not possible for all mankind to know the Lord by listening to the teaching and preaching of man. The Lord's elect, as well as the multitudes of the world, can never know Him, in the full sense of the word, by listening to man. If the teaching and the preaching of man could have saved the world, it would have been done long ago. We are in a new spiritual order, with new spiritual principles to guide us. Only by hearing the Voice of the Lord exclusively, in the Spirit and by the Spirit, shall the elect and all mankind ever come to know the Lord in the full sense of the word.

The Apostle Paul wrote, "it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe" (1 Co. 1:21). The way it sounds, the foolishness of man's preaching saved only those who had already believed. The Spirit of God did the work before those people heard the preaching of a man, so the Lord would receive all the glory. The real truth is, it is impossible for anyone to come to Christ unless the holy Spirit first draws them (Jo. 6:44). All others can sit through endless hours of the preaching of the Gospel message without ever coming to Christ and being converted. We have prayed many prayers for our loved ones, yet very few of them have ever come to Christ. The reason our loved ones are not receiving Christ as their Savior when we pray is because the Spirit has not yet drawn them. Their time of salvation has not yet come! But their time will eventually come according to Father's perfect will for them (see 1 Co. 15:22-23, 1 Tim. 2:4).

Then Paul speaks of the foolishness of God as being wiser than the wisdom of men. In all that our Father does, Paul says He does it "to confound the wise" and "to confound the things which are mighty" (see 1 Co. 1:25-28). God chooses the base and the foolish things, and the simple and the weak things, "that no flesh should glory in his presence." But the sad truth is, many preachers proudly and arrogantly preach to be heard of men. They have ceased giving the Lord the glory, and are taking to themselves the glory that belongs to Him. Therefore, it is time for the Lord to again confound the wise by bringing an end to meetings and the foolishness of preaching. Then the Lord alone will receive all the glory! And it really does confound the wisdom of the worldly wise to think that God no longer needs man's puny, worldly efforts, and that He can do His work with much greater success simply by His Spirit. Our part, our work, as sons of God and sons of Zadok in our Father's great plan of salvation and restoration in His kingdom, is to minister unto Him (see Ez. 44:15-16).

The Gospel message is based on this simple, yet profound truth: "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Then Paul continued by asking, "How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent?" Paul then answers his own questions, by saying, "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. But I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world" (Ro. 10:13-18). How did the heavenly, spiritual sound of good news go into all the earth, and the words of God to the ends of the world? Not by the works of man, but by the power of the Spirit!

In the above passage in Romans, Paul is referring to Psalm nineteen, where it is written: "The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard. Their line (or their rule) is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun, Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race. His going forth is from the end of heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof. The law of the Lord (when heard by the Spirit) is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple" (Ps. 19:1-7).

Psalm nineteen is a word picture of the workings of the Spirit of God in the realm of the Spirit. This spiritual work of God parallels the movement of the planets in the literal heavens. As the literal sun shines throughout all the earth by moving through its assigned orbits in its appointed times and seasons, so Christ, our Bridegroom, comes out of His heavenly, spiritual chamber to bless and minister to the heirs of salvation in every area of this world, by His Spirit. His spiritual movement "is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber. His going forth is from the end of heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it."

If we can understand the movement of the sun as it completes its orbit or its circuit throughout the literal heavens, then we also may understand that the Spirit of God moves throughout the spiritual heavens in a similar way, doing His work throughout all the earth and the universe, according to our Father's will. Then, we will also understand how it is possible that "Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. There is no speech nor language, where their voice (the voice of the Lord in the Spirit) is not heard. Their line (or, their message and their rule) is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world." How important it is for us to see things as they really are in the Spirit, by the Spirit! With this spiritual understanding, we are then able to see how our sovereign and omnipotent Father is well able to save all mankind, including all our loved ones, by His Spirit, whenever He purposes to do so. This also explains how Paul was able to say, "But I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world" (Ro. 10:13-18). Blessed be the name of the Lord Who doeth all things well!

I have heard actual accounts of groups of people being converted to Christ by the work of the Spirit alone. Years ago while ministering in Nigeria, I was told the story of a chief of a certain island people who were rank heathen. They had never ever heard the Gospel story. One night the chief was given a dream. In that dream he was told to erect a cross. Then he was told to tell all the people on that island that they were to bring all their images and false gods, lay them at the foot of that cross, and then bow before that cross in repentance. The chief obeyed those instructions! He did not know why he did that, he was only being obedient to the message he received in that dream. Several years went by. The people of that island nation prospered as they worshipped around that cross. Eventually, a missionary came to that island and explained to those people the significance of the cross and what had happened to them. They finally understood the message of the Christ of the cross! God had already done the work within them, by His Spirit. It was clearly a sovereign work of the Spirit of God that changed the lives of those people! And by that same Spirit, God is well able to save the multitudes of this world!

Everyone within whose life the Spirit of God abides in greater fullness will acknowledge this to be the truth. The problem many have with this truth and others like it is, how do we enter into its fulfillment? The answer is simple! We enter into the principles of the New Covenant, to live by them and do them, by hearing and obeying the Voice of the Spirit. In this new Day, the Spirit is speaking, leading His chosen ones out of the in-part realm of meetings and fellowships, and into the complete obedience of the will of God, as set forth in the New Covenant. Our Father is teaching us His word and His truth, by His Spirit, and not by the teaching and the preaching of others. And when we have heard and received His revealed truth by the Spirit, that truth is ours; no man can ever take it from us!

Before the principles of the New Covenant can ever be fulfilled in a universal sense, the firstfruits, who are all sons of God and members of the body of Christ, must first enter into the obedience of it, by the Spirit of God. We are laying down a new spiritual highway! We are the firstfruits of all God's creatures, and are leading them to this new, kingdom highway to God. Therefore, we must be the first to hear and do all the principles of the New Covenant and witness its glorious fulfillment. All shall know the Lord from the least to the greatest! This is the wonderful, prophetic promise of the New Covenant! But its fulfillment depends on the firstfruits entering into it first. This we shall do by hearing the voice of the Spirit, and not by listening to the cluttered and confused voices of man. By hearing and doing His will we are preparing the way into the kingdom for the multitudes.

Another problem we may have is in hearing what our minds tell us, instead of hearing and listening to the Spirit. Paul wrote concerning this, when he told us we should be, "Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled" (2 Co. 10:5-6). It is our Father's plan that His elect should be the first to enter into the obedience of the New Covenant. Then, when "our obedience is fulfilled," God will bring righteous judgment on those who are disobedient.

The whole plan and purpose of our Father for this world depends on the obedience of His elect and chosen ones; it all hinges on us doing the perfect will of our Father. Therefore, we will cast down all other imaginations and all the high things within our souls that would exalt itself against the knowledge and the wisdom of God, and will bring it all into captivity to the obedience of Christ. And when our obedience is fulfilled, all the disobedience of many others will then be dealt with and corrected. Very little in this world will change for the better until we mature spiritually to the point where we can both hear and do all the principles and conditions of the New Covenant, as set forth by our Father in that covenant.

To show the extent to which our Father will go to be merciful to our unrighteousness, forgive us of all our iniquities, and prepare us to live and walk in the New Covenant, He made this solemn proclamation: "For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and iniquities will I remember no more." Think of it! Our Father has done all He can do for us to make it possible for us to keep and do all the conditions and principles of the New Covenant. And now, we are without excuse! There is no reason why we should not keep all those conditions and principles! Under the old covenant, the Lord said He was a husband to Israel, but they still broke that covenant (Jer. 31:32). He is our husband also, but with a new and better covenant. He also is our High Priest, with a greater ministry, a more excellent name, for a better and more glorious Day!

We may get carried away with the carnal desires of the crowds, who love to assemble to hear a man. Many will go to hear what a man has to say, for they are not hearing God by the Spirit. But as the elect of the Lord, we must hear His word and be made aware of His mighty works, by His Spirit. Some must enter into this New Covenant, to keep and do all its conditions and principles, and some already have! Some of us no longer go to meetings! We have no need to go somewhere to hear God's word and find out what He is doing, for we are hearing His word in the Spirit and by the Spirit. We are witnesses to all His wonderful works, by that same Spirit. We may be a small remnant, but our Father only needs a few obedient ones who shall do all His holy will in the earth. Wherever two or three were gathered in His name, the Lord was present, for that gathering constituted His body, His church, in the past order. With just a small remnant now, Father shall shake both the heavens and the earth, as He makes known His will and fulfills every part of His wondrous plans and purposes for the salvation of all mankind and the restitution of all things.

It is time for flesh to get out of the way! It is time for man to rest, and for the Spirit of God to do His work His way! This is the Day of the Lord, the Day of His appearings! It is the Day when flesh shall be silent so the Spirit may be heard (Hab. 2:20, Zeph. 1:7, Zech. 2:13). On this great thousand-year, Kingdom Day, God shall change us into His image and likeness! All that is to take place during this Day is likened to the days of Noah (Mt. 24:37-39-42). They were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day Noah entered the ark. So it is today! While the rest of the world was eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, which are the normal things of this life, a remnant have entered more fully into Christ, Who is their Ark of salvation. All this took place in the Spirit and by the Spirit, in the lives of a people, who are in this world but not of it, in plain view of the people of the world, yet hidden from their sight.

As we have entered more fully into Christ, our Ark, the Lord began a new age during which He would deliver His elect of the carnal man. Thus, it is written, "Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left" (Mt. 24:40-41). We really are two people! One of them within us is carnal and of the likeness of old Adam, while the other one within us is spiritual and of the likeness of Christ. It is the carnal, Adamic man that shall be taken from us, leaving us in the image and likeness of the man of the Spirit, or the Christ-man, which we are becoming.

Jesus told us that the coming of the Son of man, or the appearing of Christ, would be as it was in the days of Noah. Therefore, let us consider what it was like in the days of Noah. At that time, the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great and the imagination of his heart was only evil continually. "And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth. And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth" (Gen. 6:11-13).

At that time, the Lord did destroy all flesh, except Noah and his family, along with the earth, by sending a flood on the earth. Today, God has no intention of destroying all mankind along with the earth, as He did in the days of Noah. As soon as the waters of the flood receded, Noah stepped out of the ark, built an altar to the Lord, and worshiped Him. The Lord smelled a sweet savor, and then said within Himself, "I will not again curse the ground any more for man's sake; for the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done. While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease" (Ge. 8:20-22). Carnal-minded preachers of doom and gloom should read this unconditional covenant of promise given by God to all mankind over and over again, until its truth prevails in their minds, and they cease declaring their false doctrines of destruction, condemnation and judgment. God shall never again destroy all flesh along with the earth! He has given His immutable word declaring this to be the truth, and we must believe His sure word of prophetic promise!

Later, the Lord determined to bring forth judgment on the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah. A cry or sound of evil was rising from those cities to the heavens, and the Lord said He would "go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it." Abraham had just communed with the Lord and received His word, declaring that his barren wife, Sarah, would give birth to the child of promise in spite of her old age. Not only did the Lord make that covenant with Abraham, but He also made him a partner with God in His plans for this world, even as He has done with us. The Lord said He would not hide from Abraham that which He planned to do in the earth, for He knew of Abraham's devout walk with his God.

While the angels or messengers of the Lord went to those two cities, Abraham "stood yet before the Lord." So Abraham asked God if He would destroy the righteous along with the wicked. He asked God if He would destroy a city if fifty righteous ones were found in it. The Lord said He would spare that city if He found fifty righteous ones in it. Finally, Abraham asked God if He would destroy an evil city if He found only ten righteous ones in it. God said He would spare that city because of those ten (see Gen. 18). At this time of the end of an age and the beginning of a new, a remnant of saints and believers are scattered throughout all the earth. And those saints and believers are the salt of the earth; they are those righteous ones who shall preserve the whole earth from the destructive judgments of the Lord.

God will never again destroy all mankind along with the earth, for He has a faithful remnant scattered throughout the earth. They are the preservers of the whole earth and of all mankind. Because of us, the whole world of mankind is being spared His destructive judgments. But the world will go through the Lord's corrective judgments! The judgments of the Lord, which are now coming on the earth, will correct the people, not destroy them. It will turn them from sin and evil to the righteousness of Christ and the glory of His kingdom.

As it was in Noah's day, so it is today! Then, God said, "The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them." Today, the Lord is saying the same thing! The end of all flesh is come before the Lord! He is moving in the earth now to bring an end to flesh! God's kingdom work always begins with His holy remnant! We must be the first to lay down our flesh and be renewed, for we shall be the first to partake of His glory!

This is a new Day of the Spirit and power of God! It is also the new Day of the end of flesh! What God shall do with the whole world, He must begin with His house, or with His elect! God must strip His elect of the works of the flesh that He might deliver all men of its curse. This is the night when man can no longer work (Jo. 9:4)! The end of flesh has come! And it must begin with the sanctuary of the Lord (Ez. 9:6), or with the house of God (1 Pe. 4:17). This is God's way! If we would see an end to the evil manifestations of the flesh in this world, we will then begin this process of full restoration and redemption by ceasing the useless works of the flesh. All the work of the flesh must end if we truly desire to witness God's highest and best in His kingdom. Father already has a small remnant who have ceased those fleshly, carnal works! But He always seeks others, within whose heart is the Spirit of sonship, to join them.

Every church and denomination that exists in the world today had its beginnings in the original harlot mother, the Roman Catholic Church. When someone left that harlot mother, they took something out of that "house" with them so they could start another church and build another such "house." This has continued unabated, until today we have numberless churches and denominations, all patterned after the original harlot mother (Rev. 17:). But God must have a people today who hear His anointed word and understand it, and who also obey that word without reservation or hesitation. That anointed people will forsake the houses of man, and will take nothing with them when they leave!

Let us hear what Jesus said concerning this truth. "When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) Then let them which be in Judea flee into the mountains: Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes" (Mt. 24:15-17). What is the abomination of desolation standing in the holy place where it ought not to be? Flesh and all man's works! It is flesh, unbridled and undisciplined flesh, manifest in the churches and meetings of today. The flesh and all its carnal, religious works in the churches and among the people of God is the abomination of desolation that stands in the holy place (see 2 Thess. 2:1-4, 2 Tim. 4:3-4). Your flesh or mine standing in the once holy place before God's people is no better than anyone else's. It is all the same flesh whether it is the flesh of the elect, or the flesh of the preachers of the church system. It is all a part of that abomination which desolates, destroys, and takes the place of the Spirit of God, in the kingdom and work of our Father.

Those who read the above message of Jesus and understand His truth are told not to go back into the old religious "house" from which they came. We cannot bring anything from that old "house" when we leave it. That is part of the abomination of desolation! Back then, those who were in Judea were to flee to the literal mountains. But today, when we become aware of this abomination, we will flee to the mountain of the government of the kingdom of God. And it is certain we can bring nothing out of that old house along with us! We must come to the kingdom with none of the trappings of the old, dead church order of the past! If we are out in the field doing His work, we are told not to go back for that old religious garment we left behind. None of that old church baggage can enter the kingdom with us; not the pulpit, not the old Sunday School lessons, or some of the religious songs, or the creeds and doctrines of man, or the religious ceremonies, nor any of the other religious "stuff," can come with us into the kingdom! God must strip us clean before we can ever be a part of His kingdom!

When we once and for all time leave the church system and all its religious trappings, where do we get our truth? We get it from Christ, Who Himself is the Truth! Remember, Christ "is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber. His going forth is from the end of heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it." By His Spirit, the Lord is speaking and moving throughout the heavens of His Spirit. Those who are spiritual will hear His word and will do all His holy will. This will begin the promised restoration, to fulfill our Father's eternal purposes for all the earth!
