THE KINGDOM OF GOD COMES TO EARTH
Part Seven July 2001 Our spiritual understanding of the kingdom of God is increasing
with the increase of God. So also is the administrative power and authority of
the kingdom of God increasing in the earth. As we learn new truths of His
kingdom and receive them, by the Spirit, we are being delivered of the false
doctrines of religious Babylon, and are being prepared to become true
ambassadors of the glorious kingdom of our Father. As we grow spiritually,
learning the ways, plans and purposes of our Father, all the doom and gloom
teachings of man, and all the other negative doctrines and perverted ways of
man, created by those in the church system, are being removed from us, by that
same Spirit. When the Lord is finished with us we shall have the true message of
the life and glory of the kingdom of God. It will not be just a message of mere
words, but will have within it the true vision and purpose of the kingdom of
God, along with the Life of Christ, by which the world and everything in it and
of it will be gloriously redeemed, fully restored, and totally and irreversibly
transformed. The new word of kingdom power and authority, which gives us the
true kingdom message and makes our message one of power and authority, must come
"down" from God out of heaven to the earth. For example, it is by the message of
an angel, or a heavenly messenger, that we shall receive the creative Word of
God that will transform us and change us into the glorious image and likeness of
Christ (Rev. 14:6-7). It is also by the message or the word of an angel or a
heavenly messenger that great Babylon, the three-fold systems of man's creation,
is declared as "fallen" (Rev. 14:8). The anointed Word of our Father,
sent from the Heavens of His Spirit to the earth, declares it to be so and also
begins the process that makes it so! Everything in this world and in the whole creation began with
the Word of God! Christ is the creative Word of Father's power and authority
that created all things. That original Word of Divine power and authority was
spoken forth in the beginning and then became Spirit, or Christ the anointed, by
Whose power and authority all things were brought into being. All things were
made by Him, and without Him everything that now exists could not have been
created (Jo. 1:1-3). It is also becoming apparent that everything in this world
shall also end by the sovereign and omnipotent power of the Word of God, which
also is the power of Christ, as He reigns from His glorious throne in the
kingdom of our Father! To begin the process of the destruction of that harlot thing,
known prophetically and scripturally as Babylon, an angel or a heavenly
messenger said, "Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city (of
corruption), because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her
fornication" (Rev. 14:8). Thus, by the simple declaration of that anointed
Word of power and authority from a heavenly messenger, the great harlot Babylon,
who sits as a queen on the backs of all mankind drawing the strength, health,
longevity and wealth out of every person on earth, is being brought down to
nothing. And what a glorious Day of Jubilee and victory that will be!
By the Spirit, John was given a vision of the three-fold systems
of this world, which are religious, political-governmental and economic (Rev.
16:19). He saw all the world's systems as being headed up and controlled by a
"great whore that sitteth upon many waters" (Rev. 17:1). In prophetic,
scriptural terms, waters are symbolic of many people. In Isaiah's prophecy
(57:20), the wicked are like the troubled sea. Therefore, the sea or many waters
whether "troubled" or not, represents all mankind. Since the "great whore,"
which represents the harlot mother of the systems of this world, was seen
sitting "upon many waters," it is clearly shown that the present
systems of this world are riding on the backs of all mankind, oppressing us all.
That harlot "mother," along with the combined worldly systems
that she commands, is oppressing all the people of the world. She is leading the
multitudes of this world into bondage, and encouraging them to pursue the flesh
and the sinful ways of the carnal, Adamic nature. That harlot woman was also
seen sitting "upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy,
having seven heads and ten horns" (Rev. 17:3). And we believe that
"scarlet coloured beast" is none other than the old man, Adam, the man of
sin that is in all mankind. That "beast" is the carnal, sinful, Adamic man of
the flesh; it is the corrupt and immoral "man" that is in every person on earth.
The scarlet color of that "beast" in this case represents the sins of
all mankind throughout the history of the world (Is. 1:18). That harlot was arrayed in beautiful, colored robes, decked with
gold and other precious stones. Those things represent all the valuable finery
and the goods of this world. It includes the "robes" of the carnal,
religious systems, which the Babylonish harlot received as gifts from those
"kings of the earth (who) have committed fornication (with her), and the
inhabitants of the earth (who) have been made drunk with the wine of her
fornication" (Rev. 17:2). In other words, all the kings and other rulers of
this world have committed and are now committing fornication with that harlot
system. They also learned her evil, deceitful ways and are being led by her to
deceive the nations, causing the people of the world to give her a "ride" on
their backs, as slaves would do. Every person of this world, except those who
did not "worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his
forehead, or in his hand" (Rev. 14:9), were made drunk by drinking from her
filthy cup, which was "full of abominations and filthiness of her
fornication." It is not my purpose to go into detail about this harlot thing
that has oppressed and burdened mankind throughout history, and which has
reached its climax, its culmination, or turning point, during this night of
spiritual darkness. Only by a revelation of the Spirit can we ever know the
depths of her many, great evils. The church system, with the Roman Church as the
head, or as "THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH" (Rev.
17:5), which she is called by God, is that "head" of all the world's systems,
which can only lead the world into gross, spiritual darkness. She is called a
"mother," for every religious system, including all the denominations and
churches in this world, came forth out of her. But we rejoice to know that the
message of that heavenly angel or messenger has been spoken forth in the
heavenlies of Spirit. And that anointed Word (Christ) of kingdom power and
authority will destroy that harlot and her evil daughters from within. Thus, the
clear Word given for all the elect of today is, "Come out of her, MY PEOPLE,
that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues."
How shall God destroy religious Babylon? By the power of His
Word! Ezekiel also prophesied, telling us of the message of an angel that would
destroy that wicked city as being a "voice (that) was like a noise of many
waters," or like the voices of many people. Along with that
"voice," Ezekiel also saw the coming of "the glory of the God of Israel from
the way of the east." Then Ezekiel declared that the result of that
lustrous appearing of His glory was, "the earth shined with his glory"
(Eze. 43:2-3). Therefore, the glory of the Lord accompanies the voice
or word of that heavenly messenger to command Babylon's destruction. This coming
of the glory of the Lord, along with the anointed word of a heavenly messenger,
will give the word of God much more power and authority. It will draw people's
attention to the Lord's mighty acts of deliverance, which will set them all
free. The coming of His glory along with His word, to destroy corrupt Babylon
and all her evil parts, will cause us all to turn our eyes to the heavens of
Spirit, to worship Him in a greater way in Spirit and in truth. The Lord will also destroy Babylon by filling that corrupt
religious system of man with more people. Jeremiah prophesied against the
literal city of Babylon in history. But his prophecy, as well as other
scriptural truths, also apply spiritually as well as literally. Paul gave us the
key to understanding scriptural truth, when he said, "Howbeit that was not
first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that
which is spiritual" (1 Cor. 15:46). Therefore, the "afterward"
spiritual interpretation of Jeremiah's prophecy applies specifically to all the
Babylonish systems of this world, especially to the fraudulent religious systems
created by man. Thus, the prophet prophesied, "for the Lord hath both
devised and done that which he spake against the inhabitants of Babylon. O thou
that dwellest upon many waters, abundant in treasures, thine end is
come, and the measure of thy covetousness. The Lord of hosts hath sworn
by himself, saying, SURELY I WILL FILL THEE WITH MEN, as with caterpillers;
and they shall lift up a shout against thee" (Jer.
51:13-14). Many of the churches of today are filled with people, with great
crowds of people in some cases. But the people who go to church today tend to be
carnal-minded people, who have very little if any spiritual wisdom and
understanding. They go to church to be entertained along with their friends by
the preachers and their church programs, rather than to grow spiritually. It is
these carnal-minded church members who have lifted up a shout against the former
leadership of the Spirit, as the prophetic word of the Lord declared they would.
No longer is the Spirit of God the Chief Leader, or the true Head, of the
Christians who attend the churches today. God has filled the churches of today
with carnal-minded men and women, to bring about religious Babylon's destruction
from within. They have replaced the headship and the leadership of Christ with
the leadership of man. But they shall be set free in the fullness of time!
Before this carnal situation fully developed in the churches, as
it has today, the Lord wisely called His elect out of all the churches and out
of all the religious systems of man. The Spirit of Elijah, which is that unique
anointing of the Lord that is upon us and within us, is that Spirit of God that
cries out against all bondages, and that also works within us to set us free in
Christ (as in 1 Ki. 18:36-40). The Elijah Spirit within us is that special
anointing of the Lord that shall also lead us to our ultimate transformation (2
Ki. 2:11). All the Lord's elect and chosen ones are now outside all the churches
and religious systems of this world, prepared to be fully set free from the
corruption of the flesh and transformed as Elijah was. Furthermore, Christ alone is the true Head, Lord, and King of
all His elect and chosen ones. His faithful and obedient elect are hearing His
pure Word from His pure mind. And they are obeying His word and walking it out
in this world as ambassadors of the kingdom of their Father. They are also
worshiping Him in the wilderness of our separate places, in Spirit and in truth,
as our Lord told us to do. By these necessary principles of consecration and
dedication, the elect are becoming a holy, separated people unto the Lord,
prepared to serve His holy, kingdom purposes in all the earth. We also understand that the kingdom of God and the reign of
Christ has nothing to do with the corrupt, Babylonish systems of this world.
Christ does not reign, either in, with or through, any of the systems of this
world, including the political-governmental systems! He has nothing to do with
any of it, for all that is of man is totally corrupt and is foreign to Christ
and His kingdom! Christ reigns from His high and holy throne in the highest of
the Heavens of His Spirit, and not through the defiled governments and systems
of this world that exist temporarily for His sovereign purpose. The righteous
throne of our Father is exalted far above the governments and systems of this
world! Christ will never sit on a literal throne any where in this
world, for His throne exists in the highest of the Heavens! And from His
heavenly, spiritual throne in the highest of the Heavens, Christ shall rule and
overrule all the perverted ways of man's governments and kingdoms, overturning
man's unrighteous acts and unholy decisions. His glorious throne of all power
shall eventually conquer and destroy all other political and governmental rule,
by the power of the reign of Christ! A so-called "Christian" President will not
give us better leadership with a more righteous government; for every bit of
man's systems, especially the political-governmental systems of this world,
including our own, are totally corrupted by the wicked and perverted ways of the
carnal mind of man. Those who are the called and chosen sons of God have those
necessary hearing ears of the Spirit! We heard Him clearly and distinctly say to
us, "Come out of her, MY PEOPLE, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and
that ye receive not of her plagues. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and
God hath remembered her iniquities" (Rev. 18:4-5, read the entire chapter
for better understanding). All who are considered by our Father to be "MY
PEOPLE," have heard His Voice and are no longer in that harlot, religious thing
of man's creation, which is also governed and led by man. This is also the Day
of the Lord; it is the Day when God shall bring forth His judgments upon all
that is not of the high standards of His righteous and holy kingdom!
Years ago, during that most wonderful and glorious "Latter Rain"
outpouring and appearing of Christ in 1948-1953, the Lord spoke often and very
clearly, revealing to us His intentions regarding the Babylonish, religious
systems of man. On one occasion, which I remember so vividly as if it was
yesterday, the Lord gave an anointed word of prophecy through a young woman. The
Lord spoke through her, telling us that the entire realm of religious Babylon
(meaning confusion), or the entire church system, was likened to a church
building that was built with brick walls all around. The church then was filled
with faithful believers. But the Lord told us that by the revelation of His
Spirit through prophecy and teaching, He had removed the roof of that church
building, allowing us to see, by the Spirit, the many iniquities that were
within the entire church system. Then the Lord said we were to leave that building, which
represented the entire church system, as soon as possible, for He was going to
destroy it. The Lord said that when He destroyed that church building, which
represented the entire church system, the walls of that brick building would
fall inward, hurting and wounding many worshipers. To prevent us from getting
seriously hurt by a falling "brick" when those walls fell inward, the Lord said
He was calling us out of it before it was to be destroyed. I cannot speak for
anyone else, but I heard that anointed Word very clearly and distinctly, and I
left it. And I have not been back since! That same anointed Word of our Father, that called me out of the
church system those many years ago, also remains within the realm of the Spirit
to this day! And all who have those necessary hearing ears of the Spirit will
also hear that same anointed message today, just as I did those many years ago!
How thankful I am to my Father, Who called me out of all the churches of
religious Babylon and Who has also kept me out of that harlot thing from that
day to this! How I honor and praise His great Name for sparing me, for
separating me from that part of Babylon, and for consecrating me unto Himself as
He did! I trust that all who read these lines will have the same positive
testimony, by that same Spirit and for His honor and glory! My Father is not a
respecter of persons (Acts 10:34-35)! He made the same provisions in the Spirit
for all others of His elect and chosen ones, who also have ears to hear, just as
He lovingly and faithfully did for me. Those who are led by the Spirit are the sons of God! And, those
who have ears to hear what the Spirit is saying to His chosen elect of today,
are those who are being led by that same Spirit. Father is clearly separating
His people in this great Day, which is the Day of the Lord. The Feast of
Tabernacles also is being fulfilled in the lives of His faithful elect on this
Day! Our Father is separating His elect from all others, that He might make us
His true Temple. Then, He shall dwell in us and walk in us. God will be our
Father and we will be His sons, not in word only, but also by our positive acts
of faith and obedience. In order to accomplish this in our lives, the Lord gave
us these instructions, "Wherefore COME OUT FROM AMONG THEM, AND BE YE
SEPARATE, SAITH THE LORD, AND TOUCH NOT THE UNCLEAN THING; AND I WILL RECEIVE
YOU, AND WILL BE A FATHER UNTO YOU, AND YE SHALL BE MY SONS AND DAUGHTERS, saith
the Lord Almighty" (see 2 Cor. 6:14-18). Those who are walking in sonship today are those who are also
living a separate and holy life before the Lord. Their loving Father delivered
them out of the confusion of man and out of religious Babylon, and has made them
His true dwelling place in the Spirit. He not only dwells within them, but He
also walks in them, that He might manifest His eternal purposes in this world
through them. There is a "separate" people in this Day whose separate walk is
described in scripture. The Lord separated the Levites from the rest of Israel,
that He might make of the Levites His own select kingdom of priests (Nu. 8:14).
God also separated Israel from all the other people on earth, that He might make
them His special inheritance (1 Ki. 8:53). As a shepherd separates the sheep
from the goats, so the Lord also separates His people out from the nations and
the people of this world (Mt. 25:31-34). Then He will also invite His chosen and
"blessed" ones to inherit the kingdom that was prepared for them from the
foundation of the world. Our Lord also calls those "blessed" who are separated
and persecuted of men (Lu. 6:22). And He also separates some chosen individuals
unto Himself for a greater work in His kingdom (Acts 13:2). Just as there is a separate people, or a chosen and set apart
elect, so also is there a separate place within the Temple of the Lord where
those separated saints may dwell (Eze. 41:12-15, 42:1,10,13). Our Father made
provision for us when He designed His Temple in the Spirit! Father is doing this
separating work among us by speaking His anointed Word of guidance and
leadership throughout the Heavens of His Spirit. And only those who have ears to
hear will be able to hear what their Father is saying in this great Day. They
are declared to be the "brothers" of our Lord Jesus Christ (Lu. 8:21 & 11:28).
All others will be "lost," that is, they will not be able to find their way
through all the confusion and turmoil of the spiritual shakings of these times.
They will wander about spiritually and literally, lacking the direction and the
guidance of the Spirit, for they do not have ears to hear the pure Word of their
Father from His pure mind. The pure word of the kingdom of God is a very strange word for
people to hear today. Many good, sincere Christians have been spoiled by the
word of man. This has resulted in the fabrication of religious doctrines and
traditions that have nothing whatever to do with the pure and holy truth of our
Father. There is so much contrary religious tradition in the churches of today,
that many reject the pure word of God because they are bound by those religious
traditions. Jesus spoke of such, when He said, "you are nullifying
and making void and of no effect [the authority of] the word of God through your
tradition, which you [in turn] hand on. And many [things] of this kind
you are doing" (Mk. 7:13, Amplified). Not only are most Christians today nullifying the Word of God by
their traditions, they are also passing on those old, dead religious traditions
to future generations. But God is spoiling their plans and shattering their
traditions! The pure word of the kingdom of God is coming forth today! The elect
are hearing Him in this new Day, and they are walking in the pure Light of His
anointed Word of truth! That anointed word may come in the form of a parable, or
a mystery, that requires the interpretation of the Spirit. But only by the
Spirit can kingdom truths, parables, and mysteries be properly and clearly
interpreted, fully understood and positively observed. The pure word of the kingdom is sent "down" from the heavens of
the Spirit to the earth in the form of good, spiritual "seed." That spiritual
"seed" was sown in the "field" of this world. If that "seed" fell on the hearts
of those who did not understand it, the enemy came and caught away that
precious, spiritual "seed." If someone immediately received that "seed" with
great joy, it was as if it had fallen on stony ground. But when tribulation or
persecution came along, it was discovered that that person did not have enough
"root in himself," and he became offended by the tests and trials of
this life. Others received that "seed" among thorns. But the cares of this world
and the deceitfulness of riches choked the word, making that person unfruitful
(Mt. 13:18-23). Not only was the pure "seed" of God sown within the hearts of
men, but an enemy also came and sowed the seed of the tares among that "wheat."
We believe the tares represent the carnal, Adamic nature that is in all of us.
The tares also represent those people who are coming forth at this harvest time,
who served the flesh while posing as sons of God, but who lack the consecration
and dedication of true sons. They are those who gave themselves over to the
power of the flesh, to serve the flesh and its ways, rather than serving the
Spirit and the ways of God. In the parable in scripture, when the "wheat" of the
kingdom began to grow, the tares were then seen among the wheat. When one of the
Lord's servants asked if the tares should be removed and gathered up, the Lord
said to leave them alone until the harvest. Thus, the carnal, Adamic nature
within us all must remain within us until the appointed time of harvest. So also
shall those carnal-minded, wannabe sons, who serve the flesh instead of the
Spirit, remain mixed in with the true "wheat," or the true sons of God, until
the time of harvest. As long as the tares remain within us, we must determine within
ourselves to deny the tares within a voice. We will give that carnal man of the
flesh within us no place in our lives, for "he" is to be "reckoned" (concluded
or considered) to be dead, according to the word of the Lord (Ro. 6:11). By the
Spirit, we will turn a deaf ear to the carnal man within us, and will hear only
the Voice and the Word of the Spirit of the Lord, as He speaks within us. When
we do this, by the leading of the Spirit, the word of the kingdom of God will
grow within us, to become a great tree, filling us with the transforming Life of
Christ. He shall then overflow from within us to fill the earth with His
redemptive and restorative sustenance and power (Mt. 13:24-32). What power and
glory awaits us all in the kingdom of our Father! Leaving the church system does not free us entirely of that
harlot thing, called Babylon. It is an established, historical fact that when
ever people left the Roman Church, or any other church or denomination in
history, they only started another church, or another denomination, thus giving
birth to another harlot daughter. Some have come out of the church system in
recent times, only to start another "Babylonish" daughter in their homes.
Whether we preach or teach in a church, a building, a home, or under the trees,
we are doing the same thing. We are ignorantly promoting that harlot thing that
God called us out of, resulting in the birth of another harlot "daughter."
God must not only take us out of the church system, but He must
also take out of us all the principles, ideas, programs, and the entire
religious structure, of that harlot, church system that may still remain within
us. And until the Lord cleanses us within of all of Babylon's principles, ideas
and programs, we are not yet totally free. The great harlot, Babylon, will
continue to manifest herself through us as long as we have the same Adamic
desires and tendencies within us that started that whole, corrupt thing in the
beginning. God is freeing His elect of every vestige of religious Babylon's
corrupt influence in this great Day! This is the Day of the Lord; it is the
great Day when God shall truly set His people free by removing all of Babylon,
including all her many carnal, evil parts, that may still be within us!
The Samaritan Woman and the Principles of This New Day When the Lord's holy, separated and consecrated elect are fully
delivered and set free, by the Spirit of God, we shall witness the 100-fold
fruitfulness of the power and glory of the kingdom of God. There is a wonderful
story regarding the ministry of Jesus in Samaria. This remarkable story shows
the glaring contrast between the former order of the church, and the new order
of the kingdom of God, which we are now coming into, by the obedience of the
elect to the perfect will of our Father. Our obedience has brought forth this
new Day! By the Spirit, the old things of the past are swiftly passing away, and
the new order of the kingdom of God is coming forth! And only by deep repentance
can we make the transition from the old order to the new! You may remember the story of the woman at the well. Jesus met a woman from Samaria at a well from which they both drank. Jesus offered the woman the water of Life, which she received. Then Jesus told her about her life! He told her she has had five husbands and that the man she had at that time was not her husband. Through the
entire discussion with that Samaritan woman, Jesus revealed Himself to her. She
believed in Him, and was abundantly blessed of the Lord (see Jo. 4:5-26). Then
that Samaritan woman told the story of her encounter with Jesus to others of
that city. "And many of the Samaritans of that city believed on him for the
saying of the woman, which testified, He told me all that ever I did." This
is an example of the way it has been in Christendom throughout the church age.
People were converted to Christ during the church age by the testimony, the
witness, and the teaching and the preaching of others. But only a precious few
were converted to Christ during that former, church-order ministry! Now, notice what happened next! "Of the Samaritan population
of that town a good many believed in Him because of the woman's statement when
she declared, `He has told me all that I have ever done.' When however the
Samaritans came to Him, they asked Him on all sides to stay with them; and He
stayed there two days. THEN A FAR LARGER NUMBER OF PEOPLE BELIEVED BECAUSE OF
HIS OWN WORDS, and they said to the woman, `We no longer believe in Him simply
because of your statements; for WE HAVE NOW HEARD FOR OURSELVES, AND WE KNOW (by
hearing Him and being in His presence) THAT THIS MAN REALLY IS THE SAVIOUR OF
THE WORLD" (Jo. 4:39-42, Weymouth). Some were converted to Christ by the
testimony of the woman of Samaria. But some of those who heard the woman's
testimony did not fully believe. They needed to see Jesus, be in His Presence,
and hear Him before they could believe. When many people of that city saw Jesus and heard Him, they
fully believed Him. Some believed in Him because of the woman's testimony, but
"a far larger number of people believed because of His own words."
The words, "His own," in the above sentence suggests to us that the
words Jesus spoke came from His own Person, or from His own Presence, which was
the mighty Presence of the Lord. It was the combination of His Word and His own
Presence that convinced those Samaritans! The difference between the Samaritan
woman's words and Jesus' words was in the fact of the greater and more glorious
Presence of the Lord that accompanied Jesus. The Samaritan woman was certainly
anointed of the Spirit, for she convinced many to believe. But Jesus was
anointed with the fullness of the Spirit, with all seven Spirits of God (Lu.
4:16-21). God did not give the Spirit "by measure unto Him" (Jo. 3:34),
as He does to everyone else, for Jesus was anointed with the fullness of the
seven Spirits of God. The Presence of the Lord gave much more power and authority to
the words of Jesus than was evident in the words of the Samaritan woman. The
presence of Jesus the Christ in that city meant much more than mere words ever
could. His word combined with the mighty and awesome Presence of the Lord, which
accompanied Jesus, caused many more in that city to believe in Him. In this
example, given by the Spirit for all who have eyes to see and ears to hear,
Jesus was thus illustrating the order of His plans and purposes, from church
order to the greater and higher order of the kingdom of God on earth.
By the separate and holy walk of the elect, we are progressively
moving out from under the old church order. We are moving from the order of
testifying, teaching and preaching, as represented by the testimony of the
Samaritan woman, to the greater and higher order of the kingdom of God, which
Jesus represented. This will be the more perfect and holy order of our Father's
greater, increased Presence in this world, which was clearly demonstrated by
Jesus in that Samaritan city. The church order of the past was good, but the
kingdom order of today is much better! Yesterday's "water" was good, but this is
the Day when the best "wine" is to be served (Jo. 2:10)! And our Father's best
spiritual "wine" will be served by royal kings and priests of the new order of
the kingdom of God and not by any of the preachers and witnesses of the old
order, who are bound by the religious traditions of the dead past. A new
priesthood must come forth, and it has! It is the new order of the Melchisedec
priesthood; it is the new order of those who are being made priests like unto
Christ, and who do only and always the perfect will of their Father in Heaven!
As the kingdom of God continues to come to the earth, along with
the greater Presence of the Lord, things in this world will get better and
better. Much more shall be accomplished in this world by the mighty and awesome
Presence of the Lord than was ever accomplished by the teaching and the
preaching of man. As the kingdom of God is increasing in the earth, so also is
the greater and more glorious Presence of the Lord increasing! His Presence is
coming to the earth in greater power and glory! Multitudes will come to Christ
when the glorious and awesome Presence of the Lord fully comes to the earth in
great glory. The multitudes of this world are waiting for a revelation and a
manifestation of the Christ, as He will be revealed through His mature sons. In
other words, they are waiting for us to grow up! They are longing to see Him and
hear Him! And they will see Him and hear Him when Christ is fully manifested in
us and through us. The whole creation, including every human being that has ever
lived on this earth, is waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God. They
are all waiting for us, the Lord's elect and chosen ones, to be transformed into
the exact image and likeness of our glorified elder Brother, the Lord Jesus
Christ. Nothing else will do the job; not another new message, not another
enthusiastic preacher or messenger, and certainly not another doctrine! It will
take nothing less than the full manifestation of Christ, in and through His
anointed remnant, to bring the full glory of the Lord "down" to the earth to
transform the groaning, travailing and waiting multitudes into the same image,
by the same Spirit! May our Father give to all His elect a new vision of the
kingdom of God and of His great glory, as it shall surely be when we are
transformed by a manifestation of the Christ. This new vision can only be seen
in the Spirit, but it will encourage us to continue onward and upward toward our
appointed goal in Christ. Without a vision the people will perish! But with the
true vision of the kingdom of God, the Life of Christ shall come forth in
unmistakable abundance for all! The Greater Presence of the Lord in this New Day In the fullness of time, when this Day has fully dawned,
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the
waters cover the sea" (Hab. 2:14). Imagine if you can the great depth of
the glory of the Lord and His Presence that will cover this present earth,
overwhelming all the corruption of this world with the transforming glory of the
Presence of the Lord! God's glory shall cover the earth "as the waters cover
the sea." Did you know that the depth of the deepest sea is much greater
than the height of the highest mountain on earth? Thus, with much greater
overwhelming depth and transforming power, God shall cover this earth with the
transforming glory of the fullness of His Presence! Carnal minded preachers and
old order Christians cannot prevent this Day and its wondrous blessings and
benefits from filling the whole earth, any more than they can stop the planets
in their circuits of the literal heavens! What a Day this is! And what a greater
Day this shall yet become by the obedience of the faithful and separated elect,
who are doing only and always the pure and perfect will of their loving and
merciful Father in Heaven. In Israel's history, the Lord commanded Moses to lead the
children of Israel through the wilderness to the promised land. The Lord
promised to send an angel to go before them, declaring that He would surely
drive out their enemies. The Lord said He was sending an angel rather than
accompanying them Himself, because they were a stiffnecked people. But Moses
pleaded with the Lord, asking Him to lead them in the way they should go. Then
the Lord said, "My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest"
(Ex. 33:14). Those of us who have seen His power manifest in the past know also
that His presence was with us every step of the way. But that was only a
foretaste of the greater presence of the Lord, which we shall surely witness in
this new and more wonderful Day of the kingdom of God on earth. While we wait on the Lord, trusting Him and worshiping Him in
Spirit and in truth, we have the assurance that we are sheltered and protected
by and in His most wonderful presence. Thus, we read, "Oh how great is thy
goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee;
which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the
sons of men! Thou shalt hide them in the secret of THY PRESENCE from the
pride of man: thou shalt keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of
tongues" (Ps. 31:19-20). If indeed we are resting in the Lord and
have ceased all the former, religious works of man, then we are hidden away with
the Lord, by His glorious and overwhelming presence. We are hidden with Him in
that secret pavilion, away from the pride of man and the strife of tongues. How
blessed we are to be led of our Father into this secret, hidden, separate place
in Christ! We are hidden away with the Lord in that secret place, where we
are worshiping Him in Spirit and in truth. Our hidden, secret place is much like
a cocoon. As a caterpillar spins its cocoon and waits out its appointed time of
growth there, so also are we hidden away by the Spirit in our spiritual
"cocoons" of separation. Here in this secret place, we are growing in the Spirit
unto our appointed time of manifestation. In due time we shall come forth in the
full glory as of a "butterfly," bearing the perfect image and likeness of
Christ. The butterfly bears no resemblance to the caterpillar, nor will we be
what we are now. We may sometimes feel like we are in "hell." But the Word of
our Father rings loud and clear through the spiritual darkness of this night,
"For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine
Holy One (within us) to see corruption. Thou wilt shew me THE PATH OF LIFE: IN
THY PRESENCE IS FULNESS OF JOY; at thy right hand there are pleasures for
evermore" (Ps. 16:10-11). While we wait in our spiritual "cocoons," we desire His perfect
will. This was expressed by the Psalmist David, when he prayed, "Behold,
thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make
me to know wisdom. Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I
shall be whiter than snow. Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out mine
iniquities. Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within
me. Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy
spirit from me. Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy
free spirit" (Ps. 51:6-7, 9-12). The Lord is fulfilling His purpose in our lives while we abide
safely and securely in our spiritual "cocoons." He is our King, and He rules and
reigns within us. Christ is also reigning in the world all around us. As His
presence continues to come to the earth in greater power and glory, along with
the increase of His kingdom, His Kingly reign shall subdue all other power and
authority. By the power of His presence, the Lord has purposed to defeat every
enemy and put them all under His feet. This truth is confirmed by the Psalmist:
"When mine enemies are turned back, they shall fall and perish at thy
presence" (Ps. 9:3). And also, "Let God arise, let his enemies be
scattered: let them also that hate him flee before him. As smoke is driven away,
so drive them away: as wax melteth before the fire, so let the wicked
(old Adam) perish at the presence of God" (Ps. 68:1-2). The presence of
God, by which every enemy shall be put under the feet of Christ, was
demonstrated at Sinai. "The earth shook, the heavens also dropped at
the presence of God: even Sinai itself was moved at the
presence of God, the God of Israel" (Ps. 68:8, see also 1 Chro.
16:23-36). The Psalms give us more insight into our Father's purpose for
His kingdom, as His presence comes to the earth in greater power. "The Lord
reigneth; let the earth rejoice. A fire goeth before him, and burneth up his
enemies round about. The hills melted like wax at the presence of the
Lord, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth" (Ps. 97:1,
3, 5). And Isaiah prophesied of this, saying, "Oh that thou wouldest rend
the heavens, that thou wouldest come down, that the mountains
might flow down at THY PRESENCE, As when the melting fire
burneth, the fire causeth the waters to boil, to make thy name known to thine
adversaries, that the nations may tremble at THY PRESENCE! When
thou didst terrible things which we looked not for, thou camest down, the
mountains flowed down at THY PRESENCE" (Is. 64:1-3). All
this is the COMING of the kingdom of God, "down" from the Heavens of His Spirit
to the earth, to transform this earth and make it into the new earth of our
Father's revealed purpose. When we realize that His kingdom is coming to earth, along with
His presence, what can we do but "hold thy peace at the presence of
the Lord God: for the day of the Lord is at hand: for the Lord hath
prepared a sacrifice, he hath bid his guests. And it shall come to pass in the
day of the Lord's sacrifice, that I will punish the princes, and the king's
children, and all such as are clothed with strange apparel" (Zeph. 17-8).
The "strange apparel" is anything in our lives that is not of the
righteousness of Christ, and may now include all the "strange apparel"
of the old order church system. An Anointed Message from an Anointed Reformer The Apostle Paul wrote to tell us, "In my opinion whatever
we may have to go through now is less than nothing compared with the
magnificent future God has planned for us." Obviously, the first
thing we need to do is to get our minds off our own problems and trials, and fix
our single eye onto the Lord and the magnificent future He has planned for us,
and also for all mankind. Then, with our single eye to the future in the kingdom
of God, we will be able to endure the trials of this night with greater hope and
determination. "The whole creation is on tiptoe to see the wonderful sight
of the sons of God coming into their own." If indeed the whole creation is
on tiptoe to see the sons of God coming into their inheritance, as the anointed
Word declares, then we too should share in that expectancy! Let us join them in
that expectancy, for we are soon to receive our full inheritance in the kingdom
of our Father! "The world of creation cannot as yet see REALITY, not
because it chooses to be blind, but because in God's purposes it has been so
limited - yet it has been given hope. And the hope is that in the end the whole
of created life will be rescued from the tyranny of change and decay, and have
its share in that magnificent liberty which can only belong to the children of
God!" True REALITY exists in the realm of the Spirit! All that exists any
where else began first in the Spirit! The only thing that shall change this
world and its inhabitants is that which is REAL, or that which is of the Spirit
of the living God! Let us be sure also that we are seeing things as they really
are, as REALITY in the Spirit, and not as the blinded world of creation sees
things. As we walk through our daily routines, struggling with our tests and
trials, let us see this world and the whole creation as God sees it: fully
rescued from the tyranny of change and decay, and having its share in that
magnificent liberty which can only belong to the sons of God at this time. When
we have received our true inheritance in Christ, the rest of the creation shall
then share in that great glory! Amen! "It is plain to anyone with eyes to see that at the present
time all created life groans in a sort of universal travail. And it is plain,
too, that we who have a foretaste of the Spirit are in a state of painful
tension, while we wait for that REDEMPTION OF OUR BODIES WHICH WILL MEAN
THAT AT LAST WE HAVE REALIZED OUR FULL SONSHIP IN HIM. We were saved by
this hope, but in our moments of impatience let us remember that hope always
means WAITING FOR SOMETHING THAT WE DO NOT YET POSSESS. But if we hope for
something we cannot see, then we must settle down to wait for it in patience."
The redemption of our bodies is waiting for us just over the
horizon. When our physical bodies are fully redeemed, by receiving His Life
without dying, we will then have realized our full sonship in Christ. We are
waiting for a spiritual experience we do not yet possess! We have the Seed of
His Life within us now (Jo. 3:36), but when our salvation has come to us in
fullness, we shall have His Life in that greater and more glorious fullness. We
are hoping and waiting for something we do not possess and cannot see. So we
must settle down to wait for Him in patience. To be patiently waiting means we
are laying aside the useless religious works of the flesh, and are resting in
our Father and in His holy Word of truth. We are sincerely concentrating on our
own spiritual growth unto full maturity in Christ! This, and this alone, is what
the creation is also waiting for! We are not in this spiritual walk alone, nor do we have to
depend on our own limited spiritual resources. "The Spirit of God not only
maintains this hope within us, but helps us in our present limitations. For
example, we do not know how to pray worthily as sons of God, but His
Spirit within us is actually praying for us in those agonizing longings WHICH
NEVER FIND WORDS. And God who knows the heart's secrets understands, of
course, the Spirit's intention as he prays for those who love God. Moreover we
know that to those who love God, who are called according to his plan,
everything that happens fits into a pattern for good. God, in his
foreknowledge, chose them to bear the family likeness of his Son, that he might
be the eldest of a family of many brothers. He CHOSE THEM LONG AGO; when
the time came he called them, he made them righteous in his sight and then
lifted them to the splendor of life as his own sons." "In face of all this, what is there left to say? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not hesitate to spare his own Son but gave him up for us all - can we not trust such a God to give us, with him, everything else that we can need? Who would dare to accuse us, whom God has chosen? Who can separate us from the love of Christ? Can trouble, pain or persecution? No, in all these things WE WIN AN OVERWHELMING VICTORY through him who has proved his love for us" (Ro. 8:18-36, Phillips).
