(Colossians 3:3) I
John 4:15: “Whosoever shall confess
that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in Him,
and he in God.” (KJV) One of a few words in the
Greek, which means ‘confess.’ This particular word comes from two root
words: ‘homo’ and ‘logeo.’ The word ‘homo’ means to be local. Local
in that it is found expressed visibly. ‘Logeo’ is the verb form of
‘logos’ which is found in John 1:1. “In the beginning was the Word (logos)
and the Word (logos) was with God and the Word (logos) was god.” ‘Logos’
means the divine expression and John 1:14 states that this divine expression
became flesh – visibly seen. Thus, we see that the you
and I express in this flesh the manifestation of Who He is, since our life is
hid with God in Christ (Colossians 3:3) The finding of ourselves in Him is not a positional placing, although true, it is an experiential reality, a living out expression of Who He is, an identity that we are Who He is in this world, and nothing less (1 John 4:17) Provided
