The plan from the beginning was to give Adam dominion (Genesis 1:26) as the King James Version states. God’s plan is that through Christ, from who everything was created (John 1:1-3), man is to have dominion or kingdom. I dare say that if everything that was created through Word, that pre-existent Lord, then it was created through the slain Lamb of God (Revelation 13:8), already covered by the cleansing blood of Jesus which appeared later. Dominion is given immediately if we accept it. Have you noticed how even unregenerate man acts on the principle of dominion of the earth? Man acts naturally as if he owns the planet and can do whatever he wants. Within the breast of mankind, hidden deep within, hidden so deep only the unconscious directs the fallen man in the dominion of the planet and universe is the principle of dominion.

God gave dominion to us. He gave the kingdom to us in Genesis 1. The carnal nature of man accepted it and began to move on it in the natural plane. The church sees the kingdom as a future event and has for centuries, even milleniums, failed to appropriate what the unregenerate man has been exercising for 6,000 or more years! Man has conquered the moon, gone to the depths of the ocean, covered the globe, done miniature surgeries, etc. These are acts of dominion. But the church thinks the kingdom has not come! Unregenerate man is walking in what the church should be. The religious man does not have a clue about the kingdom!

The mandate of God was a spiritual mandate. God spiritually gave dominion to mankind. True spirituality includes all facets of dominion. It includes the natural world as well as the spiritual world. It includes the mind/soul as well as the body. Everything that was created was created out of the spirit in a creative word. Mankind was given the same power and dominion by God.

The fallen man has taken dominion over the natural as much as he can and seeks to enlarge. He has usurped the position given to the believers because the believers do not yet believe they have the power. In reality carnal man is quite spiritual. He is acting out the dominion from a belief structure that he has dominion. Carnal man assumes he has dominion and when he finds he doesn’t, he tries to find a way to do so. There is not even a thought, a fleeting thought that he is not in control. In fact, he looks silly to the church people sometimes because it is obvious that he does not have control, even though he thinks he does.

The problem is that the church still thinks the kingdom is not here. They believe it is yet to come. Even sonship believers (those who believe we are called to be in the image of the Son), are still carnal in their belief that they do not yet have it. For if they truly believed that they had dominion, it would start manifesting personally and then to the world. One must possess life before entering the Promised Land, or the Jordan River (means flowing down, death) will overrun you.

Can you envision the world situation today? Carnal man acting out dominion and the church acting like the carnal man with disbelief! Oh what has doctrine done to the evangelical church? Postponing the kingdom is disastrous to the faith. The kingdom is not a literal one initially. The kingdom is an appropriated one and the world has done what the church could do. The world acts naturally out of dominion, but the church has to get "spiritual" to have dominion authority. Give me a break! Such religious pomposity! God would have the church act naturally with dominion without being religious. We have much to learn from the world!

The priesthood stood in the river and the water went back all the way to the city of Adam (Joshua 3:15-17). Amen! The priesthood of today, that kingdom order of priests (Revelation 1:6), can cancel out all sin from the present all the way back to Adam. How can this be done? By residing in Life. The priesthood ministry after the order of Melchizedek (Hebrews 7:16) has the power of an endless life. Life conquers the flowing down, the Jordan, the life spilt from the cross, the earth that cries out for salvation. Jesus was the life spilt on the cross for the blood that cried out from the earth’s Cain/Abel debacle.

God created out of His dominion. That same power is given to us to do likewise. The power of life recognizes no sin because it has removed death. For life is a higher plane, realm that cannot condescend to a lower order. It will descend to a lower order but will not give that lower order any place. The life realm will reach out and establish itself in the lower order. Jesus lowered Himself but did not compromise or condescend. He remained in the higher order the whole time He was on the earth, even though He was lowered into the spatial time. It is time for those who have been translated out of the kingdom of darkness into His marvelous light (Col. 1:16) to act as though they have been! Not acting out of their own efforts but out of the reality of it.

When God began things in Genesis, we note that the domain of the king began to be manifested out of His Image. Everything that was created was created out of the Word (John 1:1-3) and the Word was with Him in the beginning (see our booklet: The Logos, the Light, the Life). Out of the pre-existent Christ all things were created. Out of the image of God everything was created – birds, trees, water, earth, etc. All came out of the Image of God, the domain of the King. But let us be more concerned with us than with things for the moment.

Humanity was created in the image and likeness of God. Mankind is not the original but a copy. Now, if there is a copy there must be an original. Since God is a Spirit and obviously invisible, He must have created something out of the Spirit that became visible which became the original that man was taken from. Scripture declares that man was created "in our image" and "in our likeness."

You see, the lowering of the kingdom is from the realm of God the creator to realm of the LORD God who makes man from the dust of the earth. It is a change of order. God created in Genesis 1:1. He then went on and created the image of God, the LORD God, from which man would be formed. Adam was formed of the dust of the earth. For God communed with Adam in the garden. Do we understand that God appeared in such a way that Adam could accept Him? What is the easiest way that Adam could accept the appearance of the LORD God? Is it not in a similar image? Surely. Man was created in the image of the LORD God therefore he could accept such a visitation.

The domain of the King is a spiritual one in which the LORD God is the image of God. Adam is the image of the LORD God in the flesh, a lower order. So when Jesus took on the form (likeness) of sinful flesh (Romans 8:3, Philippians 2:7), he appeared the same but was not. Consider Ezekiel 1:26 that states that God had the "appearance as a man." This is that! Thus we can turn to 2 Corinthians chapters 4 and 5 and see the truth of what is going on. There is an inner man, the LORD God, who we are beginning to know as we are elevated out of the outer man (Adam man) by being renewed daily with the mind of Christ. Henceforth, knowing no man any longer after the flesh.

Jesus knew who He was. Think about that. Ponder it. Because He knew who He was, there was no doubt in His actions. He manifested at 12 who He was which means He knew earlier than that. He remained subservient to His natural parents until the time of adoption at age 30. In all this time, He grew in the stature and wisdom of who He was. It is time, since we are who He is in this world, to begin to grow in the knowledge of who we are. Jesus grew in kingdom theology (study of God’s domain). By that I mean He grew in the understanding of how God wanted the kingdom to be done.

We have been translated out of darkness (the outer man where we have lived) into His marvelous light (the kingdom of God after the inner man). Knowing this as a fact, we begin to grow and minister from this realm. Just as Jesus from age 12-30 grew in the ways of the kingdom, so should we. There is no tomorrow in this. We create tomorrow by what we do today!

Jesus lived in the realm of the kingdom. He gave no place to the carnal mind even though various thoughts flowed through His mind. He gave them no resting place because He knew who He was. The enemy came and could find nothing in Him (John 14:30) because He never lived in the carnal mind. Christians, born again people, do not have a carnal mind – they just think they do! Because they think they do, they have one. The fallen nature was removed at the cross. The adamic nature is dead. Long live the King’s Domain, the kingdom of God. It is the struggle (Romans 7) of coming to the realization of the truth that saints contend with. It is difficult not to believe a lie.

Jesus is the vine. When the seed was planted in the earth, it became a vine. The seed produced by the vine is no different than the vine itself. It is the same life. Ponder this until you come to the depth of the reality of it. The vine and its seeds are the same. These seeds each produce their own vine. Let‘s say that the original vine produced 100 seeds. Now there is only one seed but 100 seeds. Do you understand? There is only a grape seed here which produced 100 of itself. Now these 100 seeds of one seed (grape) now produce 100 seeds each of one seed (grape). Now we have 10,000 of one seed, although there is 10,000. There is only one life but 10,000 manifestations. You can only see the manifestation of the life, not the life itself. You see the vine but not the life in the vine.

The world sees the vine (Jesus). You have the life of Him coursing through your veins. There is no adamic nature in you. You have passed from Romans 7 into Romans 8:1. In the very same chapter, verse 3 states that Jesus came in the likeness of sinful flesh. He came (where?) in us. Now we are the likeness of sinful flesh – meaning that we appear to be but are not in sinful flesh. His appearing has changed us. We look like everyone else (sinful flesh) but we are not. Why? Because the kingdom has come! We are of the same seed and the result is the same!
