I cannot say...

"our" if I live only to myself

"Father" if I do not endeavor each day to live and walk as His son.

"who art in heaven" if I am not seeing by the Spirit.

"hallowed be Thy name" If I am not expressing His nature.

"Thy kingdom come" if I am not making Him Lord in my life.

"Thy will be done" if I am not following His leading and obeying His word.

"in earth as it is in heaven" if I don't yield my members to Him.

"give us this day our daily bread" if His word is not made flesh in me.

"forgive us our debts" if I harbor a grudge or bitterness toward anyone.

"lead us not into temptation" if I place myself in its path.

"deliver us from evil" if I do not put on the armor of God.

"Thine is the kingdom" if I do not give the king the loyalty due Him.

"Thine is the power" if I fear what man may do or blame on the devil.

"Thine is the glory" if I am seeking honor only to myself or any credit for what God does through me.

Our Father in the Heavens; Your name must be being Hallowed;

Your Kingdom must be being restored; Your Will must be being done both in heaven and upon the earth.

Give us today our tomorrows bread; And forgive us our faults, as we forgive those offending us,

For You would not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from its evil.

THE LORD'S PRAYER IN ARAMAIC

Our Father, which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy presence.

Let Thy Kingdom come into being and Thy presence be

Manifested on earth, as it is in heaven.

Release this day Thy manna, And forgive our faults, as we forgive others.

And preserve us from temptation and shelter us from trouble.

For Thou art the Kingdom, and Thy power and Thy glory

Is limitless, and Thy Kingdom is without end. Amen.
