We do not overcome by self effort - that would be carnal and not spiritual. We do not overcome by obeying commandments or laws - that would make it legalism and not faith or grace. We overcome by ascending in Him. These messages show how there are possibly eight steps to becoming an overcoming Son, the last step (Revelation 21:7).
