Christ in You The Hope of Glory
If you are relying and following the Christ in you, you only have the hope of Glory, but
not the Glory itself. There is no certainly or guarantee in hope. So what is missing?
We have been taught that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens me! And
we can. However, the all that we can do is limited by the Christ in us and Doing is not
Being.
Christ means Anointed or the Anointed One. It is the anointing, in you, that is the hope of
Glory. It is not Jesus in you, but the Spirit in you. You can do all things by the Anointing
in you. Jesus came to show us and reveal to us and impart to us, the Anointing/Spirit in
us. He did not point to Himself, but to that which He was within.
Although Jesus accepted the title of Christ on 3 occasions, He always referred to the
Father. He was the Anointed in the flesh, (Math 16:17 & Mark 14:61) but pointed to the
Father. I can do nothing but that which I see the Father doing. I and the Father are one. If
you have seen me, you have seen the Father.
Now if Christ be in you, then you are the Anointed/Christ in the flesh, for the Spirit
dwells in thee. Yet knowing this will only bring you the HOPE of Glory. It will never
bring you the GLORY itself!
Hope, elpis in the Greek, means favorable and confident expectation, an anticipation.
Hope is defined in the dictionary as a desire with expectation of fulfillment; to long for
with expectation. Expectation is defined as from expect: to look forward, suppose, think,
anticipate. Now note, hope, expectation and anticipation are Not certainties. To be certain
means to be fixed, settled, guaranteed, indisputable. If you have Christ in you, you only
have the hope of glory, you do not have the guarantee, the indisputable and settled
knowing that you will have or now have THE GLORY, THE FULNESSS OF GOD.
There are lots of hopes in Scripture. We have the hope of the promise (Acts 26:6), the
hope or righteousness (Gal 5:5), the hope of the Gospel (Col 1:23), the hope of salvation
(1Thess 5:8) and the hope in Christ (1Cor 15:19), as well as others. But where is the
certainty of all of those hopes?
In the Old Testament (OT), the Anointing Oil was poured over the Priest. The oil
representing the Spirit that would come. That Spirit is Christ in you. You have the
Anointing/Spirit/Christ in you and it is the hope of Glory. But why is that Christ only a
hope and not the certainty? Because Paul said , in 2Cor 5:5, that we received the earnest
of the Spirit. Earnest is a banking term meaning, not the down payment, but a deposit
given to hold the item, till the down payment can be secured. A down payment for the
most part will either be five or ten percent of the purchased price. Paul says that we have
received less than that!
Many signs and wonders were performed by the first disciples. Healings, miracles,
raising the dead and even transporting the body from one spot to another in the blink of
an eye. Acts tells us that the 120 were FILLED with the Holy Ghost. Filled is not five or
ten percent. It means to the brim and overflowing. The early followers were full of the
Spirit. Full of the Anointing and full of Christ. All that Jesus did, they could do and more
said Jesus. But why could they perform all those miracles and turn the known world up
side down and the sons of God today, don't seem able to overcome some small devil of
carnal thought? Why? Because Jesus had imparted to them the Glory. He said to the
Father, that the Glory thou hast given me, I have given them. It was the Glory, the
Fullness of God, that made the difference.
Jesus displayed the Glory in everything He did, even to the point of transfiguring Himself
in to pure light and making Moses and Elijah appear before the Apostles. He was able to
calm the natural storms and walk on those same seas. He was able to disappear in the
crowds and command all the forces of nature and He said that we could do this and more.
So why can we not do this? Because we have settled for Paul's understanding that we
only received an extremely small portion, the earnest and not the fullness of God.
The first fruits received it ALL, including the Glory and so did we all, but we have
accepted the mindset that we only have Christ in us, the hope of Glory.
What happened to the fullness of Glory that Jesus gave to the Apostles and the 120 that
were filled with the Spirit of God? Where did it go? Paul's writing to the Romans says
that the whole earth waits for the manifestation of the Sons of God. Yet they had already
been manifested in the Apostles, the 120, the 3000 and the 5000 that were added to the
church. The Sons of God were turning the whole world around and perhaps that is why
Saul was killing and trying to imprison them! Paul was preaching something to the
Romans, that had already been manifested at the time of Jesus. Did he miss it? Was he
telling the Romans to wait for them again? That they would come again!!!
The early church had the Glory, we settle for the Anointing/Christ. They had the power,
we have the pittance. They had the Father, we settle for the Son. Something is amiss
here?
Why can't you walk on water? Why can't you raise the dead and transport yourself, or
transfigure yourself into pure light? Because you have settled for the Christ in you, the
hope. Yes you can do all things through Christ, but the all is limited to the Christ and the
hope. It is limited by the earnest Paul says you received and not the Glory given by Jesus.
The early Church had the Glory but through time, and a change from the Gospel of Jesus
to Paul's Gospel, it was lost and forgotten. As the saying goes, if you don't use it, you lose
it. Paul's Gospel was the Gospel of Christ in you the hope. Jesus' Gospel was the Glory of
the Father. The fullness of God. Not the earnest of Christ.
The Glory of God, the Fullness of the Father is in the Ark. It was deposited in the Temple
of DAVID and given to the Apostles and you as the rebuilt Temple, by DAVID. But just
as the Ark was lost in the natural, it was lost in the spiritual. You lost the remembrance of
the Ark, that you are, and settled for the Anointing/Christ. You sold your inheritance for a
pot of porridge. The pot is great for the hungry soul, but the Glory is for LIFE. Ever
wonder why you are never satisfied! Because you are never full. You have been eating
from the pot and not from the Glory.
As a man thinketh, so is he. You think you are that which is Christ in you and you are.
But if you continue to think that way, you will only have the hope of Glory, but never
the Glory itself. We are still waiting for the re-manifestation of the son's because we have
settled for the Christ instead of the Glory.
Paul said to be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Bring back to newness the
mind you once had and transform from the Christ/Anointing/Earnest mind to the GLORY
you once had. Renew the mind and you will RE-NEW the GLORY.
You are the Glory. The Ark was wood (humanity) overlaid inside and out, with gold
(divinity) and the fullness of the Glory of God was in the Ark. It still is. Don't sell
yourself short for a pot of porridge that can only give you hope, when you can have it
ALL.
There is no Glory in Christ, the hope. There is only Glory, in GLORY.
Namaste Glory
