The Life and Teachings of Jesus

The Scripture tells us that if it were possible, the world could not contain the whole of what could be written about Jesus. Christendom and Christianity as a whole, look only to the Bible for there understanding and direction. It is maintained that only in the Bible lies the truth about Jesus, His life, His words and guidance for humanity. And certainly we would all say that Truth lies in the Scripture. However, Truth lies everywhere, for God IS omnipresent and the whole world cannot contain ALL that can be written about Christ.

I have been asked why I would place a book, like the Urantia, which many claim is a New Age book, on a Christian web site? Well the reason is simple. ALL things can add to the Truth Christ brings within you. There are many things that one believer may believe and understand, that another may not, even when taking their beliefs from the same Bible. So to find Truth from another source, does not take away from the truth found in Scripture. It only brings out greater understanding within you as God directs your path.

The section of the Urantia, that deals with the Life and Teachings of Jesus, may never bring a deeper understanding of Him, to you. However, if God does reveal Himself in a greater way and give you a deeper and greater understanding of the Spiritual realm, then you have found more of Truth for you, in the present NOW of your walk.

So I hope that you will enjoy whatever God brings to you, within the pages of the Urantia. Allow the Spirit within you to BE the teacher and guide for you. Accept what He allows and reject what He dismisses. No-one can be misdirected, when Spirit is allowed to guide.  

Allow the Spirit to BE the Bridge Between this realm and the Spiritual realm.
