BELIEVE IT OR NOT

When will we ever take God’s Word to be His Word? I am a little tired of God’s people in all walks of life trying to discern what God is saying. So many try to make IT fit their lifestyle! It is hard for them to    believe that He would say what He means. Doesn’t anyone know that He has said it and He is not going to change His mind? We might convince Him to delay for awhile but in the end He will do as He has said! A scripture to ponder on would be Is. 46:10, 11. You will find He has said it and it will (has been) be done. It was all accomplished before the beginning of time as we know it. Everything that has happened in this world or ever will happen in this world was done and accomplished in the spirit realm before the beginning of time. How do we know God knows all things? Because He has a plan and has seen the end of all things!

One big question I have is “Why?” It seems to me that He would have eliminated all the misery and pain. AH! But God has a plan! Part of that plan is for us to love Him unconditionally as He loves us!! In spite of all our faults He loves us and in spite of our situations we love Him! The proof of a true friend is that you would lay down your life for him. We should be able to lay down our carnal life for His life!  He died in the flesh for us and we should be willing to die in the spirit realm for Him. What a sacrifice on both sides! It’s hard to die in the flesh but it is harder to die in the spirit. His power is the only power that is available for us to use for this mighty work! We have to learn that His way is the only way. His burdens are light. When life gets hard it is because we are trying to carry everything by ourselves. Have you ever tried to carry something that was too heavy and had to ask for help? You had to trust that someone else could do a better job of carrying than you. Well, the same principle goes for the spirit realm. Let Him carry the heavy load and trust that He can do a better job than you.  We need to learn to give Him the burden and sit back praising Him and watch the answer come! We pray but we don’t believe!

Some of us remember Frank Sinatra’s song “I did it my way”. You see where he ended! Miserable and dead! We cannot do what God has done. We have to let Him manifest it in our lives.

His thoughts are not to hurt us but to keep us from hurting ourselves. He doesn’t cause the problem, we do. Why can’t we believe if we would keep His two commandments—Love God with all our hearts and our neighbors as ourselves—there would not be any jealousy, hate, racial problems, etc.(Matthew 22:36-40). These commandments are not only for America but for the whole world. Don’t forget He died for all mankind! If we would keep our minds on Him and not on the problem, I dare say problems would disappear.

My desire of desires is for all people to KNOW their Heavenly Father. A lot of people know ABOUT Him, but that is not enough to really trust Him. There has to be a real deep personal, intimate knowing of Him. If we don’t trust Him, it is because we don’t KNOW Him! He is just a casual friend to be called once in awhile when things get tough. Let me tell you, things are tough all the time. It is about time we knew He is with us always and will never leave us.

The world right now is a scary place to live in and a lot of people are afraid to go outside of their homes for fear of getting attacked. His Love casts out all fear. We have to trust His Love to protect us and our loved ones. Get to know you Father intimately! He is your refuge and shelter, your protector and your shield! Listen to Him and honor Him with all your heart. (Gen.15:1; Dt.13:29; Ps. 3:3; Ps.5:12; Ps.28:7; Ps.84:11)

As a young spirit- filled believer, I was taught a very simple phrase—PRAY IT UP AND PRAISE IT DOWN. Over the years, I have learned how profound that phrase really is. I have used it over and over again and He has always come through. Maybe not in my time but His time is always the perfect time. I can trust Him if I am willing to turn it over to Him and wait. His Word to us is to ask believing and it will come to pass. (Matt.21:22). Praising Him for what He is doing shows you are trusting in Him and not yourself.

Then there are those of us who think He needs help. Well, another thing I have learned is that God is big enough to do it all by Himself. He might use others in the situation but He will not always use ME! He has His Spirit and others who are qualified. SO, the big thing is to trust Him to do it like He wants and when He wants.

Do you remember the fruit of long suffering we are to allow to manifest in our lives? (Gal.5:22) Asking and waiting or trusting will surely develop it in our lives! I guess that is one of the hardest places to be—waiting and believing; especially when we can’t see something happening in the natural.

I am sure that most of you reading this have had an opportunity to practice this praying and waiting. And then there are those of us who are still waiting! The longest I can remember waiting is about twenty years! It was my fault, though because I wasn’t praising it down. I just kept tell Father what was needed and what I needed! Sound familiar? Finally, He reminded me to quit praying and start praising Him for what He was doing. Suddenly it happened! Well, I say suddenly, but you know with God it could have been several years.   I really don’t know, I just know it seemed like a few days because I wasn’t thinking about the problem anymore. I pray that no one out there who is still waiting takes the delay for a “no” answer. There is not a negative answer when you ask in His name. All things are “yea and amen. (2nd Cor.1:20)

Just re-evaluate your request, make sure it lines up with His nature or word and let your request be known unto Him. That is the importance of KNOWING Him intimately. You know Him as your husband and you will know His will in all things. Keep evaluating until the peace comes that you have it right and wait. Practice makes perfect. He wants us to know Him so well that we won’t always have to ask we will know His will. That is not impossible! We know our husbands tass="MsoNormal">     Do you remember the fruit of long suffering we are to allow to manifest in our lives? It takes awhile but finally we can tell what his answer would be before we ask.

Let me ask a question here: Do you know what prayer is?  O.K. just in case there are some who will say an hour day and a “bless me club,” I will tell you. The word prayer only means to communicate with someone. Just talking and having a conversation with God!  That is how we pray continually.

As we talk with our friends we can talk with Him because we use a different type of communication. The Spirit and our voice can work at the same time. If we are so God conscious that we think of Him constantly then our human voice will not cancel out the Spirits voice! Listen to your Spirit when you are reading, for example. Keep trying and you will see what I mean. He is ever talking; we just are not ever listening!

You know, for those of you who are married. When you are away from him, how do you know you are married? Your ring? Anyone can wear a wedding ring. It is because you know him and love him and you can feel his presence. And you act like he would have you act. That is the way you should get to know God. We don’t ask Him to come, He is already there and we know it.

He is your Friend that sticks closer than a Brother; Always available 24/7. (Pro18:24; Jn. 15:15; Jn. 15:13)

There is another excuse we use to keep us from getting to know Him; the “devil.”  That is such a joke and a lie! Again go to the Cross. Did He only accomplish our salvation? NO! Another thing He did was to spoil (put off; wholly stripped off; despoiled; disarmed) principalities and powers. (Col.2:15)

If He totally delivered me from harms way that means to me that harm can’t get to me. I am safe and the power of that “thing” is broken! Hallelujah!! If there was a devil in the past there is none now. Even our carnal mind doesn’t have power over us unless we allow it! Can you see what I am saying? Our minds are strong but the Holy Spirit living in us can kill it and replace it with His Mind!!  MY, MY, it would be wonderful to walk around in this world with His mind consciousness.  Makes me want to float out of here to just think about it! Just to meet everyone with instant Love? If that doesn’t make you excited then get in the Word! It is a command from Him through Paul for us to put on the mind of Christ! WE have to take the responsibility and allow Him to work it in us. (Romans 12:2)

Remember, Jesus overcame everything we will go through in the way that it pleases the Father. The war is over. The battle has been won and we are free from any principalities. The quicker we can accept His Word as the undisputable Word the faster we can put on the mind of Christ and the world will know their God!

The future has been decided. We need to praise Him that it is all done according to His will and for our well being. Praise Him and thank Him and allow Him to have His way. His plan must be manifested for the world and all mankind if we are to live in peace.

He knows all things and lives, abides right inside of us! He can’t leave us and we can’t leave Him! He is so wonderful.

We can know His will if we will listen and “hear” (act on what we hear).

He accomplished so much more at the Cross than we realize. The least we can do is to accept the fact that He has said “It is finished.” (Jn. 19:28) All things have been accomplished! What ever His plan is for eternity has been done. Just believe that much and things will begin falling in place in your life.

Salvation, deliverance and more for all mankind!

IN HIS ABIDING LOVE,

Barbara

Frank’s Fragment

Just as in golf, the application of correct fundamentals usually leads to success. The same is true in the believers walk with Father. It is most important to really believe that Father said what He meant and meant what He said. How much simpler can it get? We all fight the war against our carnal mind (satan) and far too many times we lose the conflict. We must learn to ‘put on the mind of Christ’ to think and do as He did and does through and in us. The example that Barbara used to “pray it up and praise it down” is so simple to apply that most folks disregard it because it is not “spiritual” enough for them. Not a good idea. Learn to trust what Father has said He would do and believe that He will do, and is doing it, for you. Remember, He is no respecter of persons. We can always come out on Fathers side if we just recall like Pogo in the comic strip stated—“I’ve met the enemy, it’s me.” We are our own worst enemy when it comes to taking Father at His word. Put on the mind of Christ, listen for Him to speak directly to you and talk to Him all the time. Your spirit will not lead you into deception or error. Allow Father to control the timing of things happening in your life.

Lean no on your own understanding…

Frank
