Religious
Teaching Keeps People In Blindness
Religious teaching keeps people
blinded to the truth of their being. The Christian religion for the most part
is still under the old covenant teaching of keeping rules and regulations which
veils Gods’ people to the truth of their being. Whenever you are living by a
performance and trying to live by the knowledge of good and evil you do not
have the proper experience of Christ.
2
Cor 3:14-16. But their minds were blinded: for until this
day remains the
same veil untaken away in the reading of the Old Testament; which veil is done
away in Christ. But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the veil is upon
their heart. Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the veil shall be
taken away.
Moses represents the law of the
Old Testament. Many read the New Testament with an Old Testament mindset and
they mix law and grace. In reality you cannot mix the two. We are either living
by law or grace. We must choose which one to live by. Living by law we will
never have complete peace and joy because we will always fail somewhere almost
every day until we are completely transformed by Christ in us. Living by grace
we realize that even though we may fail every day we have total and complete
forgiveness and we know that Christ in us is the victor.
As we begin to turn our whole
heart and our full attention on seeking after God, and put other things aside,
and get into God’s presence, the veils begin to be removed.
2 Cor
3:18 But
we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are
changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the
Lord.
As we look into the mirror we are
transformed from glory to glory. The mirror is the word. Not the dead letter
but the living word. Many years ago when I first discovered this verse I began
to read the words of Jesus as my mirror. The scripture says “AS HE IS SO ARE WE
IN THIS WORLD. Jesus was the pattern son as Bill Britton has said years ago.
The more we meditate on the life of Jesus and feast on Him as the living bread
the more we will reflect Him and the veils will be removed from us. The more
you are in His presence, and the more you behold Him, and the more He saturates
your being, the more you reflect Him.
The more the increase of His anointing is upon your life the sweetness,
and the meekness, and all the loveliness of Christ will come forth within you.
When your heart is after God, your
mind will be illuminated. One day we will all realize that we are the divine
source manifesting in a human body just as Jesus was. It is impossible for the
carnal or natural mind to believe that we are as Jesus was a divine human
being. Once the veil of the flesh is removed we will realize fully that we are
everything we desire. We will stop trying to reach out to God to do something
for us or someone else. The divine source of all that is flows from our being
and brings life and blessings everywhere we go.
When
you become consciously aware of the presence, the flow of life begins, and then
your heart is turned to Him, and you stand there completely unveiled. In that moment there is no cares, no
anxieties, no troubles, you are just aware of that wonderful presence.
It
is in the presence that we are transfused with diving light and glory. That’s
why every time you spend time in meditation on being the presence of divine
life; you come away with more glory. You come away with more anointing and a
sense of wellbeing.
“We all with an unveiled face, beholding as in
a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from
glory to glory”.
In our position we are all kings and priests,
every one of us, because we have the divine life and nature in us. Our calling
is not to work for God. Our calling is
to develop within us the presence, the character, the nature, and the abilities
of God. We then function as a priest.
That is what is being raised on the earth in these days, people who are a
kingdom of priests, people who live in the presence of their divine being and
become the manifested sons of God.
Heb 1:3 Who being the
brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all
things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat
down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;
Jesus the scriptures say was the firstborn among many brethren.
When we are unveiled to the truth of our being we realize the above verse also
applies to us. We are today, the express image and the brightness of His glory.
When you experience this everything about you will change. You no longer can be
unforgiving or resentful or bitter against anyone or anything. You stop judging
by good and evil and you know that there is only one power in the universe and
that is the divine source of all that is. We are also able to forgive everyone
for everything. We now are sharing God’s unconditional love and forgiveness for
all of humanity because they also are of the divine essence even if they do not
know it.
It is very important for us to meditate on these things. Faith
comes by hearing and hearing comes by the word, (not necessarily the bible) but
hearing the living word. Many people believe that God has never said anything
beyond the bible. They believe God quit speaking when the book of Revelation
was finished. The truth is that we are being given much more spiritual
understanding in these days. The only way we will get spiritual understanding
today is by quieting our carnal mind and focusing on the divine life within us.
This is why Jesus said things like “take no thought about what you shall eat or
drink.” When we know the truth we do not look outside of ourselves for
anything. Out of our innermost being flows everything we need. We are the
divine outflow of the inner life within us. We are spiritual beings who took on
these bodies and forgot everything of our diving nature. We like Jesus should
ask, “Father reveal to me the glory I had with you before the world began.”
