Part 2
To Be ONE With Father
To be One with Father means:
1) Thinking like Father.
2) Seeing as He sees.
So many think, "Oh how can I think like Him? Well, think
about itl
1Cor. 15:46-50, "Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that
which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual. The first man is of
the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven. As is the earthy,
such are they also that are earthy; and as is the heavenlly, such are they
also that are heavenly. And as we have orne the image of the earthy, we
shall also bear the image of the heavenly. Now this I say, brethren, that
flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption
inherit incorruption."
Since manifesting on the earth, we have known nothing, but
the earthy. So our learning (remembering) begins with the earthy.
Rom. 10:12-17, "For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek:
for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For
whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then
shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they
believe in him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without
a preacher? And how shall they preach except they be sent? As it is written,
How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and
bring glad tidings of good things!"
This doesn't mean that we are to believe everything that is
preached to us; but, the learning does begin with the earthy mind.
But, we must remember we are Spirit. The exact Spirit
that Father is. And IF we are sensitive to that Spirit, when
something that is preached to us, doesn't set right with that Spirit, we
will feel (discern) something within, nudging and stirring within us. Then
we must take what was preached before Father.
VS 16-17, "But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord,
who hath believed our report? So then, faith cometh by hearing and hearing
the word of God".
This doesn't say by hearing the Bible. It says
"by hearing the word of God." This is HEARING
HIM. Once we take something to Him and we HEAR Him, we can't get enough of
Father!! Within is a "yearning" for Him to come forth.
This is where the rubber meets the road. Either our
dependance is intirely in Him, or, we come up with excuses of why we don't
spend the time LISTENING to Him, instead of MAN.
The biggest excuse I hear is, "if it's Father's will, I
will....." or "I have to wait on the Lord". Sorry to say this, but 9 out of
10 people saying these two things, never move on to truely KNOW their
Oneness with Father. This breaks my heart.
Let me ask something. Who is the Holy Spirit? Father
is. This is one of His functions. Now, IF Father is the Holy Spirit, and
YOU are ONE with Father, what does that make you? I know, this
will freak out a lot of people. But, IF you are One with Him, you are
what He is.
Don't let tht religous mind jump up, within you. Take this
before Father.
We are talking about talking about "THINKING LIKE FATHER". Do
you know what He will say, when that question is taken before Him? He will
say, "Am I all in all, or not?" Then we have to
ask ourselves, "well, is He?" Folks, we can't keep Him and US in the box
that we've had Him and ourselves in. We must allow His Mind to come forth.
I like a quote, I heard. I don't remember who spoke it, but
it says:
QUOTE:
God's Reality cannot threaten anything except illusional
thinking, since His Reality can only uphold truth. The very fact that the
Will of God, which is WHAT WE ARE, is preceived as fearful, demonstrates
that you are afraid of what you are. It is not the Will of God which you are
afraid of, but your own will and what YOU make your own reality."
UNQUOTE
When you think about it, there is so much truth in those
words. Think about it. The Word tells us, "fear is not
of (out from within) God". Yet, what has our thinking been?
1) I don't want to be sick.
2) I don't want to die.
3) I don't want to be ignorant.
4) I don't want to be poor.
5) I don't want my familly to die unsaved.
Father's thinking tells us:
1) By my stripes, you ARE healed. (how can a Spirit be sick?)
2) Jesus tasted death so that you don't have to.
3) You HAVE the Mind of Christ.
4) I have come to give you life and life more abundantly.
5) The Lamb was slain before the foundation of the world.
(what did each of us "fall" into? The Attonement.)
We THINK FEAR and we SPEAK FEAR. We have forgotten that we
are told, "as He is, so are you in this world".
Then, we hear MAN tell us, "well, sister, brother, that doesn't mean that
right now, that you are". But, I think that the word "are" means present
tense. So, what do we think? Like Father or as man tells us?
When we really ponder it, the 5 senses tell us the very
opposite of what Fathe says His Reality is. We've been thinking with
illusional thinking. The thinking of the natural realm. We got caught up in
this illusional thinking because everything that the natural senses tells
us, simply bears witness to the illusions of our beliefs.
But, listening to Father helps us to start remembering from
whence we came. It helps to reverse our thinking. This is the Mind of Christ
thinking. The renewing of our mind. This renewing of the mind brings
forth the transforming of Who we really are.
You see, the world, people, and things that we see with the
natural eyes or focus, reflects our thinking. If we think with the
natural mind, the picture that we perceive is as opposite from Father's
truths, as the east is from the west. What we perceive does not change the
true fact of what those things really are.
Everything starts with a thought. As for us, we are in
Father's Image, we have the same creative power as HIm. So, we bring into
being, the thoughts that we are thinking. Be it from the Mind of Christ or
the natural mind. Thus, we create what we think, and we see it the way we're
thinking about it. Either with God's thinking or the natural thinking.
OK, remember, "first the natural, then
the spiritual."
In the natural: When we were in
school and we were told that we were going to be given a test, what did we
do? We would quiz ourselves and try to answer the questions that would be on
the test. Right? Now, when we would answer a question, we would check to see
if we were correct. When we found out that we had the incorrect answer, we
would seek the correct answer. Then we would repeat the correct answer, over
and over and over. We memorized that correct answer and we would keep
THINKING the correct answer. Then, when we actually took the test, we
REMEMBERED.
In the Spiritual: Remember, it
starts with the natural thinking. Then we take it before Father to hear Him
tell us the correct thinking. Then, we repeat over and over, within
ourselves, what He tells us. We keep THINKING on it. IT THen BECOMES A PART
OF US, OUR MIND. The mind is being renewed and that renewing TRANSFORMS us.
See what I mean?
I know that we've been taught that our natural mind has
nothing to do with it, but that's not true. It BEGINS with the
natural. Father is not going to just zap a renewed mind into us. Folks, HIS
WORK IS FINISHED, and now WE have a part to play. We have to walk into it.
We have to exercise the Mind of Christ into manifestation.
FATHER GAVE US ALL THAT IS NEEDED, FOR US TO DO IT.
John 1:18, " ....of HIS FULLNESS have we all received".
We ALREADY HAVE all of Him, all that is needed. Why
would He redo what He has already done? We just must do our part and
BELIEVE, have FAITH in what He has told us.
You know how we hear on the news, everyday, that Americans
have grown fat and lazy? Remember, what happens in the natural is also
happening in the Spirit. We want someone to do our cleaning; do our figuring
out this and that FOR US. Well, the day is here where only WE can do it for
ourselves.
The old excuse, "we are waiting on God..", has outgrown
itself. NOW IT IS FATHE WAITING ON US TO DO WHAT WE ARE TO DO. And that is,
to walk into His fullness so that all that is seen is HIM!!!
A friend use to tell me, "Linda, the only thing that we are
going to asked by Father, is "what did you do with the anointing that I gave
you, to walk into and become?" That's a mighty thing to think on.
How do we exercise Father's thinking? By knowing His Truths
and every time the natural mind and eyes tell us something, see what His
Word says about that thing, and regardless of how strange it might be to
others, THINK HIS WAY about that thing. It will become a part of us. We will
begin to automatically THINK HIS WAY, each time that subject comes up. As it
becomes a part of us, we begin to SEE IT AS FATHER SEES IT.
Call this exercise into being. Call forth that which is
not......
We need to lose the natural and religous way of thinking and
bring forth HIS thinking.
