“S I M E O N” CHAPTER ONE’
SIMEON’s=banner as depicted by one artist. The SWORD is indeed prophetic. We will present more depictions as we move with spiritual light into this study. As we view the SWORD, it should come to represent RIGHTLY DIVIDING THE WORD OF TRUTH, first bathed in the FATHERS LOVE.
Simeon is the second born in the birthing order. It can seem a bit odd that our Father would choose Simeon to be the SECOND birthed, since his name is definitely connected to=HEARING. Modern science tells us that the LAST sense to go in the death process is the HEARING., SELAH! So if it is the LAST TO DIMINISH, WHY WOULD IT BE SECOND BORN BEHIND THE SEEING?? The answer that comes to me. As we SEE with our inner vision, we can better hear more intelligently. The Hebrew tells us that Simeon means: Strong’s Concordance 8095 from 8085=a primitive root: TO “HEAR” intelligently (often with the implication of ATTENTION’, OBEDIENCE, ETC; TO CAUSE TO TELL (OR TO SPEAK, thus we have the logos, the LOGOS being the vehicle that brings is to the REHMEA‘). We will begin with HEARING ’INTELLIGENTLY= Web. Dictionary=a perceiving, or understanding, to gather, pick, or choose. Proverbs 4:7=WITH ALL THY GETTING, gather into thyself, UNDERSTANDING’. This scripture brings to mind, the old child like teaching of ‘BE CAREFUL ‘ LITTLE “EARS” WHAT YOU “HEAR”. BELOVED’ WHAT AND HOW WE EACH HEAR, is evident in our
daily lives, in all our connections, corrections, and in our SPIRITUAL GROWTH. The scripture plainly tells us WHERE LEAH’ WAS IN HER “HEARING” AS SHE GAVE “BIRTH TO SIMEION”. Listen to her PASSOVER UNDERSTANDING!
Genesis 30:33 And she conceived again, and bare a son; and said “Because the Lord hath HEARD that I was hated, He hath therefore given me this son also:” and she called his name SIMEON. You see! Leah’s understanding was all about her. We will see her immaturity man- ifested in Simeons action over his SISTER ( Dinah). As you read the account of the land of the HIVITES=known as open village dwellers, blending with the age, a multitude of words, more like reasonings, doubts, speculations. As you know, the SPIRIT’ IS THE REVELATOR, it leaves no room for any other fleshy interpretations. Once the sun is risen, the rays begin to fill the whole house. Genesis chapter 34 tells us of Simeon and his misunderstanding, thus bringing a curse upon the legal or carnal hearing. Beloved! how we each HEAR is most important. Perhaps we should remember Adam, as he heard the SOUND OF OUR LORD IN THE GARDEN. Many people THINK they know the voice or the heart of God, YET IT DOES NOT MINISTER “GRACE” TO THE HEARER. Would you agree that Simeon and Levi acted out of old passions, fixed mind sets with self righteous anger?? Sure they did! If we have the chronology correct, we see them operating out of the LAW in Gen. 17:1-14, law of circumcision. Ye shall circumcise the flesh of your foreskin. The FORESKIN=where were we before we had SKIN? Before we were clothed in SKIN, who were we? So as the Father walks in each mans Garden TODAY, he is still speaking “Adam where are you”? Where have you gone since I clothed you in the ANIMATED (animal) SKINS?
WE ARE THE CIRCUMSICISION WHICH WORSHIP GOD IN THE SPIRIT. If we let SKIN, OUR FLESHLY MINDS, EMOTIONS, WILL-POWER OR THE DESIRES OF OUR PERSONAL HUMANITY A FREE REIN , IT TOUCHES THE SEED OF GOD POURING FROM US, WE ARE ACTING AS THE uncircumcision. So if any of us use any carnal reasonings or intentions, it becomes just like the flesh we are seeking to cut away. First we must all acknowledge that HUMAN REACTION, saying to it, “I SEE YOU,” “ I ACCEPT MY HUMANITY, BUT I CHOOSE TO REMEMBER” that provisions were made BEFORE THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD.
Beloved’ Simeon acted out of his own passion because it touched, his world and his house. Read the account for yourself and see that the Hivites did all they were asked to do according to the Hebrew Commandment. However Simeon and Levi acted from that lower realm of understanding and smote them out of the LAW, and out of a made up mind, and carnal interpretation they made ISRAEL TO STINK IN THE NOSE OF THE ONLOOKER. Jacob in his prophesy called Simeon & Levi instruments of cruelty. Sounds like an eye for an eye and tooth for tooth to me. The HIVITES speak to us of open country dwellers, not discerning the layers, walls, or the FLOW OF THE SPIRIT, but they tried, for their efforts they were cowardly murdered. The sword of the Spirit is to be used to RIGHTEOUSLY DIVIDE, not to wait for someone to be in a weakened state of soreness, or in any state of so called failure to pounce upon them. Often we miss it because of the IDENTITY CRISIS we are going thru. After all WHAT IS FAILURE?? BUT A STEPPING STONE TO SUCCESS! We all are seeking unity, which brings manifestation of that UNITY. The Father is ONE, ALWAYS HAS BEEN AND ALWAYS WILL BE. We are the ALL IN ONE, WITH MANY FUNCTIONS. Take a look at your natural body, is it not one? Is not your body made up of many many cells? All of our physical body is made up of lots of functioning parts and all of them are made up of millions of cells.
It seems the Leah portion ( a weak visionary ) could not see beyond the moment, so she in her “poor pitiful pearl” state never accepted the moment and embraced her earthly manifestation. She certainly speaks to all of us in our humanity, we could take a long loving look at our humanity=our mentalities, our wills, our desires, and especially our
EMOTIONS, as one calls it “ OUR EMOTIONAL BODY” AND SAY TO IT, “I SEE YOU”, “AND UNDERSTAND YOU”, “AND I KNOW I am not FINISHED, I WILL GET THRU THIS MOMENT AND MOVE ON TO THE FULL FINISHED PRODUCT.” Thus I will HEAR but I will HEAR ON AND ON UNTIL “OBEDIANCE” IS INWORKED INTO ALL MY MEMBERS. This word hearing is comparable to the word seeing as its full meaning is to SEE ON AND ON AND ON, thus we HEAR with GREAT EXPANION, UNTIL the SEEING AND HEARING ARE TRULY MARRIED ( LEVI=JOINED) AND PRODUCE ONE PERFECT ACTION. Thus obedience is achieved. Beloved! YOU ARE UNIQUELY YOU! The humanity you embrace will GROW GROW GROW into that perfect man unto the measure of the Christ. The Christ man is indeed in a wonderful hearing state. DO YOU HEAR WHAT I HEAR??? Of course you do for your ear hath the earring of a half shekel of gold, the ear that has been bored thru with the awl an the earring placed there..
A little side story here: My husband and I recently took a three week tour of the Western United States. One of our stops was in Idaho. The city of COEUR D’ ALENE. My interest was sparked at this beautiful Canadian French Name, and what it meant? So as the Father would have it. We stopped for a rest stop, the lady in charge of the center told us the history of the city and the lake and its founders or the early inhabitants= the COEUR D’ ALENE INDIANS. They were named by the French Canadians because they were as SHARP AS AN AWL in their TRADEING PRACTICES. Thus my preparation in writing this message. As we remember the scripture, the servant who chose to stay after a time, was given the choice to be free or stay with his master, if he chose to stay, his ear was to be bored with and awl and a ear-ring was placed in his ear. This showed he was a slave by choice to his master, indeed a slave to hear his masters every command for his ear was part of the door of hearing. MY SHEEP HEAR MY VOICE.
In an ear we clearly see three DISTINCT HEARINGS=
“THE OUTER EAR” “THE MIDDLE EAR”, AND “THE INNER EAR”
Beloved Ones are we just hearing audio with the outer ear? Are we hear-ing the middle voice=out of mental walls, out of willful walls, out of desireable walls, or out of emotional walls? OR ARE WE HEARING WITH THE INNER EAR OF OBEDIANCE THAT IS ALWAYS MARRIED TO THE FATHERS HEART? We ARE indeed hearing in a more ESPANSIVE WAY THAT IS IMPACTING ALL HUMANITY TODAY, AND IN THE FUTURE. Beloved’ Let us move on and on in our hearing, do not be afraid, OH! DO NOT FEAR O’ LAND BUT REJOICE AND BE GLAD FOR THE FATHER IS EVER LOVING AND APPROVING YOU. TAKE HEART AND STEP FORWARD IN YOUR FAITH, FOR IT IS TIME.
