Things Learned from the Book of Romans

                                                    Part 2

Romans 7:18-25, "For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) , dwelleth no good thing; for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not. For the good that I would, I do not;  but the evil which I would not, that I do.  Now, if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. I find then a law, that when I would do good, evil is present with me. For I delight in the law of God after the inward man; but, I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?  I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then, with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin."

Haven't we all been here?  It was miserable, wasn't it?  Well, hopefully, we have passed from this. How?  By knowing who and what we are. I mean, after all, didn't Jesus take ALL sin to the cross with Him?  Then, if we THINK that we still sin, we must not believe that He did a very good job of it!!  Right?  We have learned that if we focus on sin, we will find it. Because, "as a man believeth in his heart, so is he". And that is the truth. This is where keeping our focus on HIM,with are focus there, on Him, we don't see sin, just as Father doesn't see sin.  Father doesn't see darkness, or sin , as humans see it, because His "inspired Word" tells us that "light and darkness are the same to God". (PS 139:12, MT. 5:45)

I want to speak, for a moment about the scripture, being inspired of God. God DID NOT write the bible, He inspired it.

2Tim. 3:16, "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:"

Now this scripture tells us that scripture is inspired of God, right?  No, it doesn't. That little word, "is" was added by the scholars who wrote the King James Bible.  Now, actually it should be read:

"All scripture given by inspiration of God, is....".

You may say, "what's the difference"?   Well, it does not say that ALL scripture IS INSPIRED of (out from within) God. Example:  in the writings of Paul, some of the words that Paul spoke, he spoke of God, others were of Paul. When a person speaks what Father leads them to speak, when Father leads them to speak, these words are inspired, aren't they? No, isn't it?  In ALL THINGS look back to Jesus. He is our Example.  He didn't say, "I only say what I am inspired to speak,"  no He didn't.   What He said was "I ONLY speak WHAT I HEAR MY FATHER SAY".

This word, "inspiration" means: theopneustos: , "divinely breathed in". It comes from the root word, theh-os, meaning "a deity, , the supreme Divinity, figuratively, a magistrate."  To be inspired, a word MUST be breathed into a person. It is literally, God speaking through that person.  Most people get so upset, if you tell them, "You are God walking the earth, because it's HIS life that is being lived, not your life."  If they can't grasp that truth, will they grasp the truth that it is God speaking through them?  You figure out the answer to that.  For MOST Christians, STILL believe that they are mere mortal man. Now, I know that God will speak through whoever and whatever He wants; but, right now we're looking at the scriptures, the written scriptures.  Think on this:  does not the written Word, itself, tell us that even the New Testament is DEAD LETTER, UNTIL the Spirit gives life?  We read things like this and just pass right over it. But,  I will tell you right now, later in this study, I am going to reveal some things that will INDEED be hard to believe UNTIL the Spirit shows us the truth of these things. But, for now, let's go on. So, from what I see in 2Tim, 3:16, is that IF and WHEN a scripture given by inspiration of God, it's good for all those things listed.  WHEN it is given by inspiration of God. The opinions of Paul, was not inspired of God, it was Paul's opinion. We must remember this throughout this study.  Ok, God inspires some His Word, but, it was not Him that WROTE them.

God inspired the Words that He spoke, TO MAN.  When God spoke His Words, they were indeed inspired. God didn't write the words, MAN DID.  Now, can we look at the men that God spoke to as PERFECTED, back then?  We can't even look at ourselves as perfected when Father's Words tell us that we are. We keep making excuses for WHY we ARE NOT, even though He says we are. OR, we keep WAITING for what He says to "come true".

"NOW, are you sons of God".  And what are we taught? "Well, we WILL BE WHEN>>>". That is not what God's Word said. He did not put any time reference in His statement, except, NOW!! Another thing He said is: "those who follow the Spirit ARE sons of God".. But, what does PS 37:23 tell us?

PS 37:23-24, "The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord; and he delighteth in his way. Thought he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand."

Now, take out the words that are in parenthesis, words that were added, and see how this reads:

"The steps of a man are ordered by the Lord; and he (God) delighteth in his  way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; for the Lord upholdeth his hand."

Do you see the difference?  It doesn't take being "a good man" for the Lord to order anyone's steps. HE ORDERS ALL OF EVERYONE'S STEPS. And if a man falls, God upholdeth his hand.  There is a great difference in the speaking of what God is telling us. Man's interpretation makes man STRUGGLE to be a "good man".  Well, Father tells us that "as He is so are we in this world". God doesn't look at ANY of us as sinners, bad or evil people. He sees us the way He created us. Our TRUE BEING.  We are holy; we are good; we are righteous, WE ARE, NOT WILL BE.

And we know that Jesus' death brought righteousness to ALL people, so, we must believe it when His "inspired Word" tells us; "the steps of a righteous man are ordered of God". (PS 37:23)  You see, what we have to come to KNOW is that God doesn't see right and wrong; good and bad; righteous or unrighteous. He sees ALL THINGS (this includes people) as He created them. The Lamb was slain before anything was ever created (Rev. 13:8) so, we learned that before the soul thinking, the atonement was already in place. So, IF there was a "fall," whoever "fell," fell into the atonement.  Just as the law (OT) teaches us sin, so does the thinking of the carnal mind teach us that we sin. If we don't see things as Father sees them, we see them opposite to His Truth.  He says that we're not sinners, we're told by MANY MATURE preachers that we sin daily; but, Father says differently. He says, "As He is in this world, so are we."  So, whether we understand this or not, who is truth? Him or man's thinking? So, if we see sin, we know which mind is operating in us. And when man started telling God's truths, it was IMMEDIATELY POLLUTED!!  And it was all EVE'S or OUR SOUL'S FAULT.!! And I'll get much deeper into this as we go along.

As we learned in Genesis 1, God created us in His Image and He never changes, which means, we have never changed from what He created us. He created us a spirit being, from His very substance and that hasn't changed either. Only our thinking has changed since He created us.  We were just as Jesus was, when He was on the earth. Death could not touch us, illness and sickness could not touch us. We were a Spirit being. Have you ever heard of a Spirit with cancer, diabetes, respiratory disease?  NO ILLNESS can be upon a spirit being.  It takes flesh for diseases to attach themselves to it.  Whether it is believed or not, we ARE still a spirit being. We ARE still that perfect being that Father created. It is just that we came to the place that if we couldn't SEE a thing, it didn't ring as being true to us. But, there's a people who are seeing themselves as Father sees them regardless of what others say and see. We cannot see for someone else, only a person can see for themselves. We cannot teach a person to see through spiritual eyes, that's the job of Father; and, if,  we have it in our beliefs that a person can tell us how to do it, we're wrong. It's time spent with HIM, not people, that shows us how to do and understand ALL things.  And if we're still hung up and still believe that we're still "Adam" or "mere human beings", we better spend a LOT more time with Him. THE LAST ADAM DIED!!  If our mind is on material things, we will be drawn to the earthly. There's no getting around it, folks. Either we depend on Him or we don't. It's time that we get honest with ourselves. If we want all the material things that we work ourselves to death to get, then we might as well just go right on and enjoy them, but know, that we will see death. The material or natural realms things will touch us. It's time to choose, which do we want the spiritual or the natural? He gave us all the same opportunity to have Him manifest through us. But, He also knew, which of us would want the natural, material world more than His Life being lived through us. If that seems harsh folks, then I'm sorry, it must have hit a nerve in us and we truly need to examine ourselves!! If we work ourselves 15-16 hrs a day, so we can have our nice home, the car we want, the food we want, all the material things, then we are choosing the natural. When we don't have time to seek Father for a few hours a day, then what are we putting BEFORE HIM?  it's up to us, regardless of what we've been taught.

There are ranks and orders and people don't want to except this. There are/will be those who rule and reign WITH HIM and there are/will be those who ARE RULED BY HIM AND THOSE WHO ARE ONE WITH HIM. Take it to Father and ask HIM. The material will fade away, but, He lives forever. If you are One with Him, how can His Body die if the Head is One with the Body? The Head cannot be separated from the Body.  Think about it. And to be ONE with Him, then NOTHING comes before HIM!  I am not saying that it's wrong to have nice things. BUT, do we NEED all those things, to the point that we are too tired to seek Him?  We're not too tired when an emergency comes along. Folks, we really are at the time, when He is saying, "who will you serve, Me or manna?"  And you know what?  I KNOW that you all know this because we are seeing His manifesting!!  Those who don't have time, or are too tired to get alone with Father are doing nothing but holding the Christ in them, as a prisoner.  You see, we cannot know truth about us, let alone Him, if we aren't giving Him the time to teach us. And we are finding that we cannot depend on getting the truth from anyone EXCEPT HIM!! He isn't forcing Himself to come forth through anyone, because He knows that there are those who want nothing more than Him and His Nature to be seen by the world.

Read PS and Isaiah and see who holds Christ prisoner and why man has been it the shape that they are in.

IS 28:15, "Because ye have said, we have made a covenant with death and with hell  are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us; for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves. Therefore thus saith the Lord God, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation; he that believeth shall not make haste.  Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet; and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place.  And your covenant with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand......"

HE THAT BELIEVETH!!! How can we believe when we can't find time to allow HIM to teach us?  Why has death kept on reigning? Because we made the covenant with it, and kept believing it. You know why we have believed it? Because it doesn't take any TIME OR EFFORT on our part. It's been easier to let someone else teach us, THE LIES!! Now, we have been enlightened and don't have to die. But, are we spending time with Him so He can work this revelation in us? Are we meditating day and night on this truth?  Or are we running here and there thinking that someone can MAKE us believe it?  It takes Him Folks, ONLY HIM. You know, I know that I've said this before, but, just because Father gives or inspires a Word to someone, and they teach it, doesn't mean it is inspired in the person receiving the teaching, all it is, is second hand knowledge. UNTIL, HE breaths it into you; and that takes time alone with Him.

PS 102:19-20, "For he hath looked down from the height of his sanctuary; from heaven did the Lord behold the earth; to hear the groaning of the prisoner; to loose those that are appointed to death."

The prisoner that has been and still is being held by some, is the Christ in us. Father's Life. We won't overturn death UNTIL we release His Life to be lived through us. He has already made it possible. When we know that we are One with Him, we are no longer mere mortal man. We're not Adam. HE IS DEAD! We are the very body that Father walks around in, and talks through.

PS 102: 24-27, "I said, O my God, take me not away in the midst of my days; thy years are throughout all generations. Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the work of thy hands. They shall perish, but thou shall endure; yea, all of them shall wax old like a garment; as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed; but thou art the same, and thy years shall have no end."

Didn't God say, " I AM WHO I AM"?  He is Him, in each one of us!!  Whoever knows Who they are, are God walking the earth. This physical body is just a way of getting around, HIS GETTING AROUND. The Head and the Body together, ONE. Now, if you are ONE with Him, this is true for you too.

Now, I want to talk a little bit about BEGOTTEN and CREATED. I know that I will hear from plenty "that don't read what I write", or so they say, but, so be it.

Now, we all know that Jesus was the ONLY BEGOTTEN Son. Right? Well let's look and see. This is going to be short and sweet and you take it before Father for the Truth.

John 1:14, "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, ( and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the the only begotten of the Father, ) full of grace and truth."

John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son that whosoever believeth n him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

Ok, Jesus was the only begotten Son.  Let's look at Acts.

Acts 13:32-33, "And we declare unto you glad tidings, how that the promise which was made unto the fathers, God  hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he hath raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, Thou art my Son, and this day have I begotten thee."

Well, I tell you, THIS IS THE DAY THAT GOD HAS BEGOTTEN US!  We that KNOW without a doubt, who we are. We who know that we are One with God. Their are those who know themselves as being "created" and their are those who know that they are begotten of the Father.  Folks, Father sees us, just as He saw Jesus. We have even been given His Name.

Eph.3:14-15, "For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named."

Now, let's take a look at us.

1Peter 1:3-5, "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant merch hath begotten US AGAIN unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved  in heaven for you, who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time."

1John 5:1, 18,   "Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him, ALSO that is begotten of him."

VS 18, "We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not."

Are you one that believes that sin is still in us? Do you still believe that the devil still exists in your life?  If the answer is no, you are begotten of God.  Now, one more scripture.

Rev 1:5, "And from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the FIRST BEGOTTEN of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, and hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father, to him, glory and dominion for ever and ever, Amen."

Jesus was the FIRST BEGOTTEN of God and of the dead. When did the old man die? At the same time that Jesus did. When Jesus resurrected, who resurrected with Him? We did.   Ok?  Now, those of you who have children, more than one; what is your firstborn known as?  Your FIRST, right? That means that there are MORE CHILDREN AFTER THE FIRST ONE.   You will live as you think you are. If you think you're a sinner, you are. If you think you are what God says that you are, then you are what He thinks you are.  THINK.  This doesn't just mean that you tell yourself something, it is what is BELIEVED deep within you, the REAL YOU, One with your Father. His Begotten, the Body of Him, the Head of the Body.

Now, I want to leave you with something to think about.

What all do you think that Eve, or your soul has influenced in the natural world?   We'll take this up in the next part of this study.

to be continued....
