UNDERSTANDING THE BOOK OF REVELATION

Part 17

 

We will be looking at the fourth trumpet and the fourth vial, in this part. Again, it is the fourth angel who is sounding the trumpet and pouring out the fourth vial.

 

 

Revelation 8:12-13, " And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise. And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voice of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound."

 

The sounding of the trumpet to this fourth church age, the Thyatiran chuch age, was sounding th purposes of God for this fourth chuch age. To all that refused to accept the Christ, HIS TRUE PERSON, His Truth, His Spirit and authority, a spiritual death became their end.

 

 

What John saw was this: the Sun, the Moon, and the Stars are smitten. These things symbolize the Full Apostolic and Authoritative ministry of the Lord. This church age HAD all the glory of the Lord's ministry. As this True ministry was rejected and substitutions were put in their place, darkness showed up. Approximately one third of all the "believers" were affected by this curse of darkness.

 

 

The Sun represents the LIGHT AND GLORY of the Lord that shone in that age. The Moon symboizes the Church. As the natural moon has no light of itself, but just reflects the light of the Sun, so also the True Church of the Lord has no light or life in itself. It must reflect and show forth the light and the life that God is living through and as us. The Stars represent the brethren or the minstries of the church. They were set in the church; Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, Teachers, ; and each star (or ministry) differed from another star.

 

1Cor. 15:41, "There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars; for one star differeth from another star in glory.

 


  

NOW, what the trumpet has made SOME of us know, is that each of us ARE the Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers. Does not John 1:16, tell us that WE HAVE ALL RECEIVED HIS FULLNESS? We need to chase around no prophet to hear what God is speaking. We need only to COME UP HITHER, into the realm of the Spirit to lean whatever it is that we are to learn. Yes, sadly, there are those who will drive 500 miles just to hear a prophet, and PRAY that he will give them a Word from the Lord. Haven't we all seen this? Maybe even DONE it ourselves, UNTIL the trumpet sounded with us. Get ready folks, WE are now the trumpet to many.

 

 

 

Where many are still waiting for the Lord to come, WE KNOW HE IS AND HAS ALWAYS BEEN HERE!! He went no where. He patiently waited for our awakening; and is still waiting on the whole world. There will be MANY who will say we are crazy, or religious fanatics; but SO WHAT!!! Look at the Pattern, did that exact thing happen with Him? The tribulation is not the tribulation that the church has taught us we would have. Some will go through the tribulation of death, betrayal, harm; but our tribulation is HOW WILL WE REACT to the way we are treated? Will we stand up and stand for what is being revealed to us today? Of course, we will. Some won't , but, in time we will ALL know the same Truth of Who we are.

 

 

 During the dark age the Sun was smitten, or in terms that we understand, the Glory of the Lord was lifted from the corruption of that age. And the antichrist systems, the Great Whore, , systems of hunmanistic, self willed church systems changed the Glory of God into a lie.

 

 

Read Joel 2:28, "And it shall come to pass (after these days)...will I poour out My Spirit upon all flesh."

 

 

 

This was the age of the "Great Falling Away", and NOW we see a body of people "Galling Away" from the Great Whore!! Hallelujah!! This falling away brought the warnings of upon the whole, flesh, self willed, carnal world church system, that has failed to hear the Voice of the Holy Spirit. THIS WAS THE TRUMPET SPEAKING TO THAT AGE>\\

 

 

Revelation 16:8-9, " Ad the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun: and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire. And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues and they repented not to give him glory."

 

I think that after all we have seen, so far, this needs no explanation, I think you can all see what the scorching was: OUR GOD IS A CONSUMING FIRE!!

John saw this dark age of the church in another symbolic way. He saw God's glory as it became "as scorching Sun" and judgment of the Holy Ghost Fire upon all who would not repent of their evil in that age. And as always, even though the Gory of the Lord was lifted from many, there was and always will be a remnant of true and faithful people following that Wonderful Voice into manifesting HIM.

 

Those who did not hear, chose rather to blaspheme the Name of God. Do you know what it really is to blaspheme His Name? It is holding to ANYTHING that is not HIM AND HIS TRUTH!! The whoredom of the church, was clinging to any word, or act contrary to God and His Word and Nature, for GAIN!!

 

So the wrath poured out on this age was the Spirit "burning" people. I want to give you a scripture that shows us, God has no more wrath that will be poured on us, today.

 

1Thess. 5:6-9, "Therefore let us not sleep as others do (and we're not. we are awakening!!!) but let us watch and be sober. For they that sleep, sleep in the night (ignorance of Truth) and they that be drunken are drunken in the night. ( a drunk is CONTROLLED by what he drinks). But let us, who are of the day (LIGHT, UNDERSTANDING) be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith, and love and for an helmet, the hope of salvation." This salvation is COMPLETE salvation of Spirit, Soul and body!! We have all this, just by knowing our True Identity!! Hallelujah!! WE have and are His fullness. Amen.

 

So the next part we will look at the fifth church age. Again, I want to ask, can't we see that ALL of this so far, has been fulfilled.
