Part 2

"One like unto........"

Revelation 1:13, "And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle."

If you read in the Preface of your bible, you will see that any word written in "italics", means that the word was added by King James, when translation was taking place. This was done with the thought in mind, that the added word would give better understanding, to the reader. There are many websites that will inform you of the thousands of errors that were made, while translation was taking place. (and it is important that we all know these things, so that we can receive TRUTH, not man's intention.)

In verse 13, the word "one", does not belong there. It was added. It should be read as:

"And in the midst of the seven candlesticks like unto the Son of man..."

When John turned and looked at the seven candlesticks what he saw was someone looking like the Son of man. He DID NOT SEE THE SON OF MAN. He saw someone who LOOKED like the Son of man. And this person that John saw was so much in the image of the Son of man, that John couldn't tell him apart, from the Son of man. Keep in mind that we are told that, "the body of Christ is a many membered body.", which we will look at, further on down in these scriptures.

This is the verse that has been used to show that this Book of Revelation is about the revealing of Jesus. Now, this verse, along with verse one of chapter one, shows us differently. The first verse showed that by knowing the meaning of that little word "of", changed the whole picture. It wasn't showing the Revelation about Jesus; it showed that Jesus was doing the revealing of someone.

Together with this verse, verse 13, we are beginning to see that, indeed, SOMEONE is being seen. And this SOMEONE looked exactly like the Son of man. Not Jesus, but one that looked like Him. Please understand that when I say, "looked like", I don't mean facial features. All that is seen in this SOMEONE is seen through Spiritual eyes. (remember John is seeing all this in the invisible realm). Let me ask, when we read this verse about someone "looking like" the Son of man, what other scripture comes to mind?

Genesis 1:27, "So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him;...."

This is the beginning of it all, the COMPLETED work of God (Eloheim) and Revelation is the manifesting of what began and finished, in Genesis, manifesting right here on earth. Hallelujah!! We started out in the image of God, and end up right back IN GOD, where we came from. WE HAVE NOT CHANGED WHO WE WERE, ONLY OUR THINKING CHANGED, WHEN WE MANIFESTED IN THIS NATURAL REALM. WE GOT CAUGHT UP WITH THE NATURAL, INCLUDING OUR THINKING. But, I am getting ahead of myself, here.

OK, so here in verse 13 of Revelation, we see one like unto the Son of man. So, let's go on.

So, in Genesis, we see one exactly as God. No difference was between, because actually, that one came OUT OF GOD, MADE OF THE SUBSTANCE OF GOD. To put it bluntly, that one was as much God, as God was that one. And here in Revelation, we are seeing the exact same thing, "that was shortly to come to pass"!! Here, in Revelation, Genesis is being manifested; it is manifesting on earth, not in the invisible realm. Hallelujah!! Just as "the Lamb was slain before the foundation of the world", BUT did not manifest until 2000 years ago. The same is happening now with the manifestation of HIM, in and as us. HIS LIFE is being seen in this visible realm.

This is a good time to get some real understanding about the flesh man, Jesus. And then we will get back to the description of this one like unto the Son of man.

Religion has given the impression that there was God AND Jesus. So, let's look at His Word and get this straight, in our thinking.

1 Timothy 3:16, "And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: GOD MANIFESTED IN THE FLESH, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, PREACHED UNTO THE GENTILES, believed on in the world, RECEIVED UP INTO GLORY."

Please, lay aside all previous teaching and concentrate on what is being said here. Notice, it doesn't say that Jesus preached to the Gentiles; it says GOD PREACHED TO THE GENTILES. GOD MANIFESTED IN THE FLESH. GOD WAS RECEIVED UP IN GLORY. All of this is speaking about GOD, not Jesus. God is sovereign. One definition of the word "sovereign" is this: supreme in power and rank. Regardless of what outer garment that God chooses to put on, His Rank is and has and will always be supreme, over and in all. He is all in all. Regardless of what name He is called by; regardless of His appearance, or lack of it. God was Jesus, in the flesh body. Just as He is US, in these flesh bodies.

The Pattern that God laid, appearing on earth as Jesus, is now being manifested in us. Just as He laid aside all Deity to become the flesh man Jesus, He did the same with appearing as us. We call it, "losing memory" of our True Identity, but it is the same "laying aside all Deity", as He manifests Himself, His Life through and AS us. IT IS HIM. Each of us is an individual EXPRESSION of Him.

Philippians 2: 5-8, "Your attitude should be the kind that was in Jesus Christ, who though he was God, did not cling to his rights AS GOD, but laid aside his mighty power and glory, TAKING THE DISGUISE OF A SLAVE AND BECOMING LIKE MEN. And he humbled himsimself even further, going so far as actually to die a criminal's death on a cross."

Jude 25, "To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory, and majesty, dominion and power, both NOW and EVER. Amen.

1Tim 4:10, "For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the LIVING GOD, WHO IS THE SAVIOUR OF ALL MEN, especailly of those that believe."

1Tim 1:1, "Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by THE COMMANDMENT OF GOD OUR SAVIOUR, AND LORD JESUS CHRIST, WHICH IS OUR HOPE." (NOTICE here. it doesn't say "they" are our hope.IS, is used here. Is , is singl\ular. IF it were two, being their hope, the word "are" (plural) would be used.) You can look at this two ways; (1) God is our Saviour AND He is Lord Jesus Christ, Or (2) choose to see Him as two separate Beings. I believe it is number 1.

1Tim 2:3, "For this is good and acceptable in the sight of GOD OUR SAVIOUR."

Titus 1:3, But hath in due times manifested his word through preaching, which is committed unto me according to the commandment OF GOD OUR SAVIOUR."

PS106:2I, "They forgat God their saviour, which had done great things in Egypt;"

IS. 43:11, "I, EVEN I, AM THE LORD; AND BESIDE ME THERE IS NO SAVIOUR."

Now, you might say, well these last two scriptures were of the Old Testament; Jesus had not came yet. Well, let's see what the prophecy about Jesus has to say.

IS 9:6, "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder, AND HIS NAME SHALL BE CALLED Wonderful, Counsellor, THE MIGHTY GOD, THE EVERLASTING FATHER, The Prince of Peace."

Let me ask you, can there be more than ONE MIGHTY GOD? or more than ONE EVERLASTING FATHER? No, I think not. You see, just as we are Spirit, Soul and Body, so was and is God. Are we not in His Image? (Genesis 1:27) God is and was the Spirit. So are we. We are that Spirit that the New Testament tells us about. THAT Spirit IS living in a flesh body AGAIN.

God knew that we had allowed the Mind of Himself to "fall" as we entered this earthen realm. He knew that the man that He had brought forth out from within Himself, that man that was to manifest in the earthen realm and learn to take dominion of all things, including the MIND, was now of the mind, where that man HAD TO SEE SOMETHING TO BELIEVE a thing. (this is where man has been UNTIL NOW)

He knew that it would take a man, just like what we have been picturing ourselves as, a flesh man, a human man , to die on a cross and take our sins, ( sin an illusion of the mind we had fallen into), in order for them to believe that we had any hope and to renew their thinking, UNTIL REMEMBRANCE returned to us. . The Spirit Being that we were, HAD TO BE AWAKENED! The Soul had to become re-reunited with her husband, The Spirit. And this He did by the flesh of Himself, Jesus, to die on a cross for our salvation or our awakening.

This experience that we have been living, in this natural realm, is for us to learn to take DOMINION not only of all that was created, but to take DOMINION of all WITHIN OURSELVES, so that ONLY HE CAN BE SEEN. This experience is for making this earthen realm to be seen with the MIND that we had allowed slip to unconscousness, to be renewed. Notice we are to RE-new this carnal mind that we came to depend on. We are to RE-member ourselves BACK to that ONENESS IN AND AS HIM. To RE-member that we are ELOHEIM, PLURAL GOD. Not plural gods, but the ONLY God there is.

Look at the Pattern that He laid, as the flesh man, Jesus. I like the way another brother put it: by Kenneth Greatorex

QUOTE; " While the liberal elements of Christianity may tend to take away the deity of Jesus Christ, please know that this writer is anything but a liberal. The failure to properly understand the humanness of Jesus the Christ has caused much failure and grief amongst believers. Without a doubt 2000 years of stained glass church history has watered down the truth of his humanity until it barely exists in our thinking. We may get all teary eyed over the cross, and rejoice in the various miracles which we attribute to his deity, and end up with a man dying, and a god doing the miracles. Now, don't stone me yet, as you need to read this, before deciding to do it.

In order for us to walk as he walked, we must understand HOW he functioned on earth in his human bodily form. So at this point it is good to consider what the scriptures actually say, and more importantly what the MAN, Jesus the Christ said of himself. The Gospels contain 78 references (Englishman's Concordance) in which Jesus called himself, son of man. Many of these are duplicated in one or more of the Gospels. It is interesting to learn of the times that Jesus was called The Son of God. There are just 42 New Testament references that specifically refer to Jesus as the Son of God. Only a few of these have Jesus saying, or agreeing, that he was the Son of God.

So, just how did he function? In John 5:19, 20 we read, "Therefore Jesus answered and was saying to them, Truly, truly, I say to you, THE SON CAN DO NOTHING OF HIMSELF, unless {it is} something He sees the Father doing; for whatever the Father does, these things the Son also does in like manner. For the Father loves the Son, and shows Him all things that He Himself is doing; and {the Father} will show Him greater works than these, so that you will marvel." (NAU) Please notice that Jesus was limited in what he could or couldn't do.

Again we find a limitation of sonship in John 5:30. " I CAN DO NOTHING ON MY OWN INITIATIVE. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is just, because I do not seek My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me"

The question arises, was he not the one of whom it was said in Matthew 1:23, "Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, andÂ they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us" (KJV) (Immanuel in other versions)

What of John the Baptist while in fetal form, jumping for joy in his mother's womb? Or, what of Simeon saying of the infant Jesus, "For my eyes have seen Your salvation?" When seen in context these instances, and others, are prophetic or revelatory in nature.

There was the time when his parents took him to the Temple in Jerusalem for the Feast of Passover. The 12 year old Jesus came with them, and then he got so involved talking with the elders/teachers who were amazed at his understanding, that he got left behind. Once found by his parents he said to them," Did you not know that I had to be in my Fathers house?" Were these the words of a boy-god, or of a lad untouched by sin and with purity of mind? We must be aware that every Jewish boy was expected to memorize the scriptures, and that Jesus was found to have been both listening and asking questions.

In Luke 2:52 we read, And Jesus kept increasing in wisdom and stature, and favor with God and men. This was clearly a process of his development as a human. Within him was fullness in seed form and without a doubt a growing understanding of who he was prior to his earthly sojourn. However, he was to function as a human, just like us and with the limitations we face.

Within Acts 10:38 we find the key as to how he functioned in his earthly ministry. Peter said that it was; "GOD who ANOINTED Him with the HOLY SPIRIT AND WITH POWER - - for God was WITH him." We already know that his sonship, as is ours, was limited to the will of the Father. Therefore, the works that he did were those done in accordance with our Father's will, and under the empowering anointing of the Spirit of God. Please realize that IF he had functioned as a God-man he would not have needed to be baptized by John, which baptism identified him with fallen man, or he would not have needed to be anointed with the Holy Spirit. Our Father had purpose in the limitation of his son for our benefit.

At the time of his baptism by John, the Holy Spirit descended upon him. Matthew, Mark and Luke each record this event. In Mathews account, which is considered as being written to the Jews, the voice said, This is My beloved son. However, Mark and Luke record our Father saying to Jesus, YOU are My beloved son. Clearly there was an unfolding revelation coming to Jesus of his placing and purpose on earth.

Lest we get caught up into the heavenlies we must again be reminded that Jesus had to function on an Adam/human level. In 1 Timothy 2:5 we read, "For there is one God, {and} one mediator also between God and men, {the} MAN Christ Jesus", Please notice that it does not say, THE GOD Christ Jesus, but rather, the MAN Christ Jesus. It was the man who died, and the man of flesh who was raised. God did not need to be raised as God did not die.

There are two critical points that must be considered, his becoming sin, and his becoming a curse for us. In 2 Corinthians 5:21 the shocking statement is made. Jesus, who never knew sin, as the First Adam had, became sin. How he who was the Lord of Glory could become SIN, not a sin offering as I would prefer to say, is difficult to comprehend. Likewise, is the fact that he became a curse. Galatians 3:13 clearly says; Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law, having become a CURSE for us-- for it is written, Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree.

Clearly as deity in any form, he could not relate to us. Therefore it was necessary for a self-emptying which is called the kenosis. How far did this go? Just as far was necessary to in order to relate on our level, and to fulfill his destiny as the Savior of all. Was it to the level Adam was prior to the fall? Or, was it as Adam was after the fall, and yet without being born in sin?

Within the realms of eternity he existed in the form of God, as part of the Deity family. The decision was made not to continue functioning as deity, and therefore he set aside, emptied himself of deity, and willingly took the form, or position equal to that of a slave. This is an interesting point as man was the slave or sin, and Jesus took the position of a doulos, a bond, or love slave. Within the human dimension he grew physically, ate, slept and was severely tested, or tempted if you prefer to sin, and lest we forget, life began as in infant sucking milk from his mother's breast.

Driven by the Spirit into the wilderness after hearing the Father's voice of approval must have been especially hard for him. It was in the wilderness that the devil tempted/tested/tried Jesus. He was tested to do something FOR himself - make stones into bread; WITH himself to jump from the pinnacle of the temple with the presumption that angels could save him; and OF himself in order to gain the kingdoms of this world the seemingly easy way. Each challenge was met with a scriptural answer. We are reminded that the temptation period lasted 40 days, with only 3 specific examples being given. How many other temptations there may have been during this time we don't know as scripture is silent.

The question arises, Could the man Jesus have failed? That is, could he have sinned? Our religious bones shudder at such a question, and we immediately say, NO NO NO, Away with such heresy, don't question my beliefs; you know that he was the son of God. Now, we need to be very honest and answer the question. IF in all the testings, or temptations he could not fail, then was the whole thing a fraud? IF so, then we are in big trouble as there is no way that he can relate to us. We must look at additional scripture." UNQUOTE. (let me say here, that I am not saying that Kenneth Greatorex is in agreement with my teaching. But this is an excellent article on the humanness of God, in the form of the flesh man, Jesus.) Let's continue.

And on top of all this, let us read 1 Tim.3:16,

Now, we see that it WAS GOD WHO MANIFESTED IN THE FLESH. IT WAS GOD WHO PREACHED. We saw that GOD IS OUR SAVIOUR. We saw this in scripture. We also saw (above) how Jesus was in the flesh. HE DID NOTHING, it was GOD IN HIM that provided the power. Just as He does with us. I am not taking anything away from Jesus. I just am not looking at the flesh man, who was Present Truth in that day, I am seeing Him as HE IS NOW; (2 Peter 1:12) in the PRESENT. When God manifested in the flesh, as the man, Jesus, HE LAID ASIDE HIS DEITY. So, Jesus was not part God, part man, anymore than we are. I feel that God HAD to lay aside all deity, in order to be like a flesh man. As a Pattern for us to follow. I look at it, for my understanding, as when God became Jesus, He lost all memory of Who He had been. JUST AS WE HAVE DONE. But, the truth is, our/Him living in this flesh, DOES NOT CHANGE the truth of our True Identity; WHO WE STARTED OUT AS AND WILL/ARE manifesting in this earthen realm. NOTHING CAN CHANGE THAT TRUTH. The only thing that changed was OUR THINKING as we partook of a natural, physical realm.

The Truth is, we ARE STILL THE IMAGE OF GOD that came forth out of Him, in Genesis. THAT HAS NOT CHANGED. TRUTH CANNOT BE CHANGED; it may be remembered incorrectly, but it doesn't change. Just as Jesus walked the earth for 30+ years, not knowing He was God. WE HAVE DONE THE SAME THING. We have forgotten our True Identity. But remember, if you take a cup of ocean water and bring it to Ohio, IT IS STILL OCEAN WATER, regardless of what you put it in or what you put in it. And just as Jesus "saw" Himself in the scriptures, so are we.

More and more the Spirit is rising in Truth within us. Just as when Jesus was baptised and heard the Voice of God, WE ARE HEARING HIS WORDS COMING FROM WITHIN US TELLING US WHO WE ARE. We are even told in scripture that we are the Sons of God. And some of us are recognizing this, just as Jesus recognized it. BUT, THERE IS MORE TO IT THAN JUST BEING SONS!! IF we agree that Jesus is our Pattern to follow, then we need to see the Pattern to the end. JESUS NEVER TAUGHT SONSHIP, HE TAUGHT THE FATHERHOOD. We are to follow the Pattern.

1Timothy 1:16, "Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, FOR A PATTERN TO THEM WHICH SHOULD HEREAFTER BELIEVE ON HIM TO LIFE EVERLASTING. "

OK, we see that Jesus is our Pattern to follow. We saw that GOD manifested, as the flesh man, Jesus, and laid aside all deity and became as man. There was a need for a man to die WITH US ON THE CROSS, so that we could awaken to our True Identity. The reason for the need of a flesh body for God to manifest in, is simple; GOD CANNOT DIE. The flesh body that He manifested in, could.

Jesus kept telling us, I and Father ARE ONE. Jesus thought it not robbery to be equal with God. And it isn't. But, there is a process of this knowing to become manifested. We cannot just claim it and presto, there it is. IT IS A PROCESS OF BEIIEVING INTO IT.

The last part of the Pattern, we will follow into, too. This is Jesus speaking:

John 17:5, " And now O Father, glorify thou me WITH THINE OWN SELF with the glory which I HAD with (in) thee before the world was." GOD RETURNED to WHO HE WAS before He manifested as the flesh man Jesus. Let's get back to Revelation.

Revelation 1:14, "His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;"

In this verse there are three words that were added, that should not be here. "his", "were" and "were". You can see this by the writing pattern, that it is written in. This verse is beginning to describle this someone who is being revealed, ONE LIKE unto the son of man. US! And remember, we cannot take these words of the Book, as we would define them in the natural. Each word is symbolic wording, of what John is seeing in that invisible realm. And we must remember that John is speaking in language that was understood in his cultural surrounding and time. They did not speak as we do today. Can you imagine the understanding that John would have if someone from our time and culture, said, "The feast is ON ME, today!" I am sure John would be looking to see if food was all over us. (this isn't funny, but I am sure you get the gest of what I am saying). In John's day, the speaking and the understanding of things was greatly different from today. Plus, the understanding of the Spirit is not in our natural understanding or worded as this carnal man would speak. So we NEED to BECOME in the Spirit, that we are.

This one's head and his hairs speak of the mind and the covering of the mind. The mind is the Mind of Christ, and the hairs or covering is the Spirit. White speaks of purity. Wool is strength, yet softness. Snow speaks of the purest of pure. His eyes or his focus is as a flame of fire. What is God? Our God is a burning fire. Each of us, or the many membered one that John saw, is a flame or expression of Who we are One in, God.

Revelation 1:15, "And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters."

Feet represent our walk. This one "like unto" the son of man, has walked through the furnace. His walk was as brass. Brass represents judgement. And judgement IS NOT what we have been taught it is. Judgement is simply, correcting what is incorrect. And the burning out of us, of what religion has put in us, is revealing our True Identity. And notice, this one like unto the son of man is the voice of a many membered body. One body, but made up of many.

Revelation 1:16, "And he had in his right hand seven stars; and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his contenace was as the sun shineth in his strength. "

The right hand speaks of blessing. The stars speak of us that are speaking, in this chruch age, HIS PRESENT TRUTH. (see verse 1:20). Angels are messengers; messengers carrying forth HIS TRUTH. Seven is the number of perfection or completedness. These messengers are speaking HIS COMPLETED, PERFECT TRUTH. The twoedged sword is the clear truth that cuts to the marrow of the carnal mind. The sun is the LIGHT that we have received, and it produces or brings in to manifestation His strength in the truths that are revealed and has become our/His life.

Revelation 1:17-18, "And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, I am the first and the last. I am he that liveth, and was dead; and behold I AM alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell (hades, a place of the dead) and of death. "

We are the first, just as Eloheim is. And we are the last, the EXACT SAME THING THAT CAME FORTH OUT FROM WITHIN HIM. And remember, THIS IS NOT JESUS SPEAKING. IT IS ONE LIKE UNTO HIM, that is speaking these words. We were alive IN HIM before we manifested in this realm. We have been dead, since the manifestation; and NOW that we are remembering our True Identity, I AM alive for evermore. What did God tell us His name was? I AM!!!!!

The keys, is HIS KNOWLEDGE. We have remembered our True Identity; we have remembered that we have His fullness, NOW. (John 1:16). These are KEYS. And I AM is alive forevermore. We seem to have forgotten what HE TOLD US that His name is and how long that would be His name.

EX 3:14-15, "And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM; and he said, Thus shall thou say unto the children os Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you. And God said moreove unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, the Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob hath sent me unto you; this is my name FOREVER, and this is my memorial UNTO ALL GENERATIONS."

What did God say His name was? I AM. And how long would that be His name? FOREVER, and UNTO ALL GENERATIONS. Even this one like unto the son of man, NOW uses His True Name, I AM. Amen and Amen.

In Revelation 1:19-20, John is instructed what to do and in verse 20 the symbolism is explained.

I call forth understanding in all that read this. And I truely ask you to take your bible, right along with this sharing and study it out, to be approve. And see for yourself that the revealing, here in this book, IS NOT THE REVEALING OF JESUS. It is the REVEALING OF ONE LIKE UNTO HIM. One, many membered body that the entire vail has been removed from their faces.
