UNDERSTANDING THE BOOK OF REVELATION
PART 26
The City of God
For some time now, Father has been impressing the word, "city" on my heart. When we think of a city we think of all the things that relate to that city. We think of the buildings, houses, the traffic, the hussle and bustle. We notice growth or lack of growth. We inquire about the city: its reputation, its safety and as much as we can find out about it.
As I thought about the word "city", the first thought that came to me, was New Jerusalem, the Holy City.
Rev. 21:2, "And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband."
This word "city" means, a city or a town. (#4172). This city of #4172, comes from: to engage in warfare (literally or figureatively). It comes from a single encounteror a series; it comes from battle, fight, (make) war.
So, this city is coming from warfare. And notice, Rev 21 tells us, "I saw the holy city, New Jerusalem coming down from God out of heaven.". We have learned that heaven is not somewhere in outer space, but, is between our ears. Our Spiritual ears. So, the battle or warfare takes place in our heavenlies, our thinking, and THEN it comes down into manifestation.
This is what we've been doing, having a battle take place in our heavens. (Armageddon) All things that are not of Father is/has been being shakened. As each belief/thought is shaken and is replaced (putting on the Mind of Christ), by our being awakened to Father's Truth. That Truth comes down into our being and our being is manifesting AS HIS BEING! Praise His Name!
This battle is worked out within us. There is/has been much bustle going on. Each time a new (to us) Truth comes from Father, the religous carnal mind begins battling within this city of God--US! If you noticed, in the definitions, this warfare is figuratively and literally. Actually, it's both. The literal battle begins among the brethren.
John 14:2, "In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you."
We KNOW that WE are Father's house. Within us, are many mansions. This word, "mansion" means: a staying, or a residence, (the act or the place).# 3438. Sound familiar? The staying (the focusing) on HIM. The root word is "men'-o" (men--that really sounds familiar). Many are still "staying at the place" of MAN! This word, men'-o, is a verb meaning to stay in a given place, state of being, relation, or expectancy. A verb shows action. To STAY is an action.(or lack of it).
Now, John told us, in Rev 21, that this "Holy City, New Jerusalem, the City of God, is com-ING! A process of appearing. If it was appearing to John, (even in the Spirit), that means that the city WAS, not would be. As it came down from heaven, it appeared, manifested to John's Spiritual seeing. The city WAS, before it appeared to John.
John 14:2, ".....I go to prepare a place for you.."
Folks this , that Jesus was saying, was the manifestation of what He did before the foundation of the world. He did it then, and here in John, He is manifesting what He said, "I go to prepare a place for you." The City was before the foundation of the world. It's been waiting to appear, IN and AS US!
John 14:3, "....I will come AGAIN and receive you unto (into) myself."
Jesus returned to His Position of being Father. (John 17:4-5). "I will come again." Just as Father manifested in the flesh man, Jesus, HE HAS COME AGAIN, as US. We are HIS LIFE!
"....that where I am, there ye may be also. And whither I go, ye know, and the way ye know."
This is because Father is living HIS LIFE through us, the same Spirit Being that He is. There is ONE SPIRIT. (Eph.4:4) And did He not tell us, "ye know all things."? (1 John 2:20) And the hidden things are NOW being revealed to/in us.
Now, let's look at some things.
Jer. 33:4-5, "For thus saith the Lord, the God of Israel, concerning the the houses of this city, , and concerning the houses of the kings of Judah,, which are thrown down by the mounts, and by the sword. They come to fight with the Chaldeans , but it is to fill them with the dead bodies of men, whom I have slain in mine anger and in my fury, and for all whose wickedness I have hid my face from this city."
The houses of this city and the houses of Judah are carnal thoughts. Are thrown down by the mounts. Mounts means, rampart of beseigers. The beseiging thoughts of the carnal mind and carnal words. These mounts or thoughts are filled with death of carnal thoughts.
VS 6, "Behold, I will bring it (the city) health and cure, and I will cure them, and will reveal unto them the abundance of peace AND TRUTH.
VS 7, "And I will cause the captivity of Judah and the captivity of Israel to return, AND WILL BUILD THEM, AS AT THE FIRST." ( IS 1:26-27).
VS 8, "And I will cleanse them from all their iniquity, whereby they have sinned against me; and I will pardon all their iniquities, whereby they have sinned, and whereby they have transgressed against me." This has been done!!!
VS 9, "And it (the city) shall be to me a name of joy, a praise and an honour before all the nations of the earth...." (Eph 3:14-16)
"....for all the goodness and for all the prosperity that I procure unto IT."
VS 10, "Thus saith the Lord; AGAIN there shall be heard in this place, which ye say shall be desolate without MAN, and without BEAST, even in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, that are desolate, without MAN, and without inhabitant, and without BEAST."
Twice, NO MAN, AND NO BEAST=natures!! NO MAN!! The nature of MAN and the BEAST will not be heard. What will be heard?
VS 11, "The voice of joy, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice or the bride....." these voices are of the SPIRIT, not MAN! and the voice of those that say, Praise the Lord of hosts: for the Lord is good, for the mercy endureth for ever: and of them that shall bring the sacrifice of praise unto the house of the Lord. For I will cause to return the captivity of the land, AS AT THE FIRST, saith the Lord".
In the Spirit, "land" is our body. Earthen vessels. And it will be returned AS AT THE FIRST.
(we had forgotten that He made ALL things perfect. and it still is, and we must BELIEVE into what He says, for it to manifest.)
VS 16, "In those days shall Judah be saved and Jerusalem shall dwell safely; and this is the name(nature) wherewith SHE shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS."
"she"=the soul, the salvation of the soul.(which has happened).
I want to look at the Book of Revelation and the City.
Revelation 21:1, "And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away, and there was no more sea."
Now, John was seeing this in the Spirit. Think hard on this, PLEASE. WHEN was John seeing this? He saw it in 98AD!!! This means that it was available THEN!! AND actually, BEFORE THE FOUNDATIOND OF THE WORLD. This SHOULD give us an idea of how I AM SEES THINGS TODAY, YESTERDAY, AND FOREVER!! People get so upset when I say that I AM does NOT see the things we are doing, HE SEES THINGS THE WAY HE CREATED THEM!! It has been OUR THOUGHTS as to whether something is "good or bad". NOT HIM!! And when our focus is ON HIM, we see as He sees and we see ALL THINGS PURE!! This is the renewing of the mind.
The first heaven (our mind), and it is all we have ever known about the mind: that we didn't know that we had the Mind of Christ; and that first mind WERE (past tense) passed away. Not only that; but the first earth (our body) WERE passed away. Do you realize what this is saying? OUR BODY IS ALREADY PERFECTED; IF we see as HE sees. IF we keep the focus of His Truth. AS we keep the focus of His Truth, the perfection of the body MANIFESTS!! I know, this is hard to take in if you are experiencing illness. But, and I don't mean to offend anyone, we have BELIEVED in the illness, MORE THAN HIS TRUTHS. But, TODAY, there is a people BELIEVING WHAT HE IS TELLING US AND IT IS MANIFESTING.
I want to tell you how our heavens has operated. I will use me as an example: when the doctor told me, some 15-17 years ago, that I had diabetes, you know what happened? The FOWLS started flying in my heavens, BIG TIME!! OH, THAT MEANS THIS: AND THAT MEANS THAT!!! Yep, and my BELIEF followed right behind those fowls!! And then, so MANY simptoms MANIFESTED!! And I lived (???) all those years taking 6 shots a day!! My heavens were full, but not of what they should have been full of. And then, about 6 or 7 years ago, He rose up within me, and explained to me that this body DOES NOT HAVE TO SEE DEATH. And I started studying this out; I cryed out to Him; I spent SO MUCH TIME with Him, and when the diabetes caused the first of three strokes, HE TRUELY got my focus. He spoke within me what to do, and I did it. AND I BELIEVED IT, BECAUSE IT WORKED!! I am not bragging on Linda, I am glorying in the True IDENTITY THAT LINDA IS!!
The first heaven and the first earth HAS PASSED AWAY. And this is how HE SEES IT. HE sees NO MORE SEA (human beings), He sees HIS OWN REFLECTION!
Revelation 21: 2-4, "And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no mor death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain; for the FORMER THINGS ARE PASSED AWAY."
Where is New Jerusalem coming from? DOWN, OUT OF HEAVEN. Where is heaven? BETWEEN OUR EARS. In other words, a people is hearing with ears that can hear. It is coming frorm (out within God). And where is God? In us, walking AS US. All of this is happening WITHIN US. It is not a literal city. WE ARE THE CITY. HE IS THE CITY. And His people will be a reflection of HIM. So, it is HIM, that is ALL IN ALL.
We are His tabernacle, His vehicle to be seen. We are in Him, ONE TOGETHER. ONE not us AND Him, just Him. His Reflections are seen everywhere, because He is everywhere, where life is. A life with no pain, no illnesses, no death, no tears of thinking that we are separated from Him; no sorrow of this illusion that we have been believing. EYES ARE OPENED and SEEING AS HE SEES ALL THINGS!
VS 5, "And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me; Write these words are true and faithful. And He said unto me, IT IS DONE. I AM Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son."
What we have to look at closely here is this; WHO sets on the throne, even now? WE DO. Those who know their true Identity. And Who makes all things new? WE DO. As we bring in the world to their true Identity. Think about it. We were told in Genesis 2:2, that God FINISHED HIS WORK, right? We saw in John 17: 4-5 that the work of Jesus (God) was finished, right? And IF we were in Him at our "beginning" and have never really left Him, and will be/are at the end, WHO is Alpha and Omega? US!! So WHO will be as God and have Sons? WHO will do all that verse 4 speaks of? US. BARE IN MIND, THIS BOOK OF REVELATION IS NOT REVEALING THE MAN, JESUS; IT IS REVEALING "ONE LIKE UNTO" , (REV. 1:13).
Now for joyous, wonderful truth; this company of "one like unto" has JUST BEGUN THEIR WORK!! WE are spreading the Good News of the true Identity of all. We are the One who will bring every MAN to his knees as He confesses His God, His true Identity. Hallelujah!!! Let all of this sink in , eat it, digest it. Allow the real Mind to speak to you. Don't think you are crazy and don't let anyone tell you that you are. THIS IS HIS PLAN, not man's!! What did HE say? "IT IS DONE", "IT IS FINISHED". BELIEVE HIM!! LIVE HIM!! WALK HIM!!! NEVER take your focus off of Him. You can't see Him and the illusion at the same time.
Now, as for "the son". While we are in Fatherhood, those who are not, ARE OUR SONS!!
VS 8, "But the fearful, and UNBELIEVING , and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and beimstone; which is the second death."
Now, these are spiritual, not the natural. Fearful=IS NOT OF GOD. Unbelieving=those who continue to live the illusion of the carnal mind. Liars=those who lie against God's Word. Murderers=those TEACHING death and destruction by teaching another gosple. All these are spiritual things and people.
This "fire and brimstone" is I AM. He is a consuming fire. And WHO ARE WE? It is out of our mouth, His Reflections, that this word, this purifying Word will come from. YES, we will/are ministering to all of those that have and will see death, physical. The first death, WE have already partook of. ON THE CROSS!! Our "old man" died and we were resurrected REMEMBERING OUR TRUE IDENTIY.
VS 9, "And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife"
Let me say this about the seven plagues. Yes, they will go on IN THE LIVES OF THOSE WHO DON"T KNOW THEIR TRUE IDENTITY, but not forever, they too, will come to know Who they are. He is no respecter of persons. Who is open, will receive Truth. He is not open will go on in the illusion UNTIL they DO open up to the Spirit.
The Lamb's wife. OK. Who did we learn is the Lamb, here in the Book of Revelation. LAMKIN!! US. Some of us have been taught about how we are going to be the wife of Jesus and all that. Folks, come on. Jesus IS NO LONGER THAT FLESH MAN WHO WALKED THE EARTH. HE RETURNED TO HIS ORIGINAL POSITION OF FATHER. (John 17:5). AND I AM IS A SPIRIT!! SPIRITS DO NOT MARRY. (as we think of marriage). I want to show you how contradictory some teaching is. MOST of christiandom, when a spouse dies, THINKS, BELIEVES that they will be with their spouse AGAIN when the spouse dies, too. And at the same time, they believe that when they die and go to heaven, they are going to be the wife of the man, Jesus. They are going to live in mansions, on streets of gold with their natural spouse. Well, what are they going to do, spend one night with the natural spouse, and then run to another mansion and be a wife, that night, to Jesus? Come on. Even the carnal mind doesn't believe that!!
This wife that is spoken of here in verse 9, is speaking of A UNITEING!!! A ONENESS! The wife, or the uniteing is THE CITY!! The City is God. The City is US. UNITED: A ONENESS IN HIM. And guess what? We don't have to have a license to prove we are united.!!
** I am not going through all the meanings of the stones that make up or describe the foundations of the city. IF you want them, let me know and AFTER we complete this series, I will send them out to you. I will tell you, that each stone is a part of your make up, your True Being. The priests of the Tabernacle wore them in the natural, but, we are finding out that EVERYTHING told in the scriptures has a meaning, a spiritual meaning behind them. But I do want to look at verse 21-27.
Revelation 21:21-27, "And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass."
The number 12, speaks of the Divine government of God. ( (1)MT 10:1, (2)Rev12:1, (3)Gen 49: 28-33) (1) This where Jesus called His 12 disciples and gave them power over all things. (2) This is where the Woman (the True Church) clothed with the sun gave birth to the Manchild. (3)this is where the "field was purchased" and Jacob commanded his sons;).
The gates, if you have ever studied out the 12 tribes, are steps in our walk INTO HIM. Or I should say, into the KNOWING that we are and have always been in Him.
What I want to look at here is the PEARL. This is US. Do you know how a pearl comes to be? WITHIN the oyster shell, the pearl is started and sand is INSIDE too. The sand rubs against the pearl until it is formed into this precious stone. This has been us. We HAVE BEEN INSIDE I AM. All that has rubbed us, here in this earthen realm, has shown us Who we are. We were rubbed until we shone the True Light. And notice ,
VS21 " each of the 12 gates were 12 pearls. AND EVERY SEVERAL GATE WAS OF ONE PEARL:.."
Look at this; each of the 12 gateS (plural) were pearls. "BUT, EVERY SEVERAL GATE WAS OF ONE PEARL".
There are only "every several" GATE (ONE GATE although it was EVERY SEVERAL) was OF=out from within ONE pearl. ONE SINGLE PEARL. To me, and some may disagree but this is what I was shown, this ONE GATE, ONE PEARL, ALTHOUGH IT WAS MADE UP OF "EVERY SEVERAL", depicts the REMNAT that IS NOW CALLED INTO FATHERHOOD. A many membered body.
"And the STREET of the city was pure gold as it were transparent glass."
You see, this is the problem of "ADDING TO THE WORD", this is where people THINK that heaven is made of STREETS (pural) made of gold. IT DOES NOT SAY THAT. Street, speaks of our walk, our lifestyle IN HIM. HIS LIFESTYLE is TRANSPARENT, like glass, IF we have eyes to see. This is the process we have been going through. The coming into REMEMBRANCE of our True Identity, and then MANIFESTING IT. HIS LIFE!!
I am going to stop here and will take this up, in the next part. Because I want you to see the Truth, that does not sit with MOST christians. And I want to explain it with my full attention.
