UNDERSTANDING THE BOOK OF REVELATION
Part 22
Revelation 9:13-14, "And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God. Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates. And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men."
God is and has been saying a lot to us, in this book that most feared and many still fear. But, not that God has unveiled this revelation of the book; it takes on a new focus (and how I love that word FOCUS), and we are seeing a new vision, a new understanding of it. And though we are gaining a lot of knowledge, God made it real clear to me that, that is not what's going to establish His Kingdom. He said, "it's not What you know, it is WHO YOU KNOW". It isn't our knowledge, it is our relationship and the knowing of OURSELVES AS HIM. And I'll tell you something, we cannot have a relationship with God, until we have had a relationship with each other, for ALL are ONE IN HIM. God says, "how can you say that you love Me, who you don't see, when you can't have a relationship with your brother, who you see everyday." We have all seen the backstabbing that goes on amongst the preachers, when one writes something that the other hasn't received, as of yet. Brethren, that is not love; and what we do to one another, we do to Him. So knowledge won't do it for us, it is KNOWING HIM that does it all. In fact, to Him, it is ALL already done.
He said that there would come a day, when people would say to Him, "Lord, Lord, haven't I cast out devils; haven't I prophsied in Your name; haven't I written better, more spiritual articles; haven't I travelled further, all for Your name; can't I show how many people have received healing from MY ministry?" (my words) And He will say, "Depart from me because you never had a relationship with ME." Knowledge is good, but it is the relationship that God is looking for. And I am seeing relationship, here in this book.
Now here in verse 13, it says "I heard A voice." That should be ONE VOICE. It is very important that we understand that we heard ONE voice. Also, "from the FOUR horns", although there are four horns on the golden altar which is before God, this should be, "the horns of the golden altar which is before God." The word "horns" means "power", in the Greek. So verse 13 should read "And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard one voice from the horns of the golden altar which are before God. If you have read my study on the Tabernacle of Moses, we know that there are four horns on this altar. We also know that in the Tabernacle of Moses that there are two altars. There's the Brazen Altar which is in the outer court and there's the Golden Altar, which is in the Holy Place.
There was one voice coming out of these horns. The number, four, represents universality or COMPLETION OF ALL THINGS. So we now know that this One Voice coming out of these four horns speaks of ONE VOICE COMING OUT OF ALL OF GOD'S people. Hallelujah!! That's One Voice. And the word "from" in the Greek is "ek", which means "out from within". So it is One Voice, heard, out from within the horns. So what we are being told here, is that God is saying, "I am bringing you to a place where everybody will be saying the same thing."
Now, how does everybody say the same thing? Everybody says the same thing, by SHUTTING THEIR MOUTH! And allow the Holy Spirit say what HE wants to say. Let's look at Romans 8. This is a perfect example of what John saw at the Golden Altar.
Romans 8:26, "Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities (King James made this plural, in the original it is INFIRMITY); for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: When it talks about OUR INFIRMITY, it is talking about the Body of Christ having and infirmity. One infirmity. And it goes on to tell us what the infirmity is; "for we know not what we should pray for". This is the infirmity spoken of here. Unless HE is speaking, the prayer is not getting answered. That's hard, but it is true. Now, here in Revelation 9, we are told, " ONE VOICE out from within the horns of the Golden Altar". Now, here in the last part of verse 26, in Romans, it goes on to tell us "But the Spirit ITSELF (singular, ONE VOICE) maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered." The Body of Christ has a great infirmity. Because every time someone gets up to pray, and that prayer is from that person, and NOT the Holy Spirit, IT DOES NOT REACH THE THRONE. Believe what you will, but, when you KNOW your true Identity, you allow the Holy Spirit to do any praying, because YOU ARE ONE WITH HIM!! If you don't know your true Identity, as Paul said, "You are beating against the Wind". What does "wind" mean, the Spirit. Christians get up and pray for prayer's sake. And it does not mean a thing. We need to lose the religion folks.
"The Spirit helpeth.." Do you remember what I told you "eth" means? On any word. It means "continually" 4878 in Strongs: helpeth=sunaantilambanomai (Greek) suna means, together with. anti means facing, lambanomi means to take up as a burden. So what it is saying is; "The Holy Spirit comes together with us, facing the problems or situations, and takes up the burden, upon Himself. " Now, when we didn't know Who we really were, wasn't this a wonderful thing to know? NOW, with the KNOWING of our Identity, WE ARE SPIRIT, right? How many Spirits are there? ONE. Knowing our BEING, we are to "come together and face (see that there is NOT PROBLEM!! There is no LACK!! But, for those who don't know their Identity, come together with them, face their problem, and TAKE THE BURDEN UPON OURSELVES and SEE IT FINISHED!!!
So what John saw here, in chapter 9, is a many membered Voice come together AS THE SPIRIT THAT THEY ARE and take control and DOMINION of problems and situations, AS HIM.
Intercession=5241 in Stong's. hoperentugchanel, hoper means on behalf of, in, to hit the mark. The intercession sure isn't for the Spirit!! It is on behalf of the world, and as long as He is making it, it NEVER misses the mark! So, He MUST (the Spirit) be the One who prays, every time. And this is the people that John saw in Revelation. This is that "One like unto.." Isn't this wonderful? Can you figure out how this book ever scared us???
What John sees is the Golden Altar, not the Brazen Altar; because the Brazen Altar is a place of sacrifice, calvary, our crucifixtion. And we know that we cannot get to the Laver, or the Candlestick, or the Table of Shewbread unless we have been crucified here at the Brazen Altar. So in order to get to the Golden Altar, we MUST have been crucified, and we must be living and walking in a resurrected state of mind.
What you'll find in the biggest difference in the two altars is that the Golden Altar was made of Acacia wood, overlaid with gold. In the Outer Court there is absolutely NO GOLD. In the Outer Court there was ONLY BRASS. And brass and brass means JUDGMENT. So what you find in the Outer Court is Judgment, and this is where most christians are today. And we HAD TO HAVE BEEN JUDGED BEFORE we got to the Holy Place. That judgment HAS ALREADY TAKEN PLACE and all need to come to KNOWING THIS.
Let's look at the word "horns" for a minute.
Habakkuk 3:3, "God came from Teman, and the Holy One from mount Paran. Selah. His glory covered the heavens, and the earth was full of his praise. And brightness was as the light; he had horns out of his hand; and there the hiding of his power." (I left out the words that have been added.)
Ok, where is the hiding place of His power? In the horns. Where are the horns? In His hand. What are the hands? MINISTRY. So the horns are the hiding place of His power. NOw, why did He use "hiding place"? Well first of all, when Jesus (God) came He was the horn of salvation. But, Jesus was still the power of His hiding place. Until His showing unto Israel. And now, Colossians tells us that OUR LIVES ARE HID IN HIM. We ARE the horns that are hid. Full of power. And John tells us, "Of His fullness HACE WE ALL RECEIVED! Hello Horns!! And John says, "I saw the horns". And John says "I saw the horns AT THE GOLDEN ALTAR!" John didn't see the horns, (US) at the Candlestick, no, he saw them at the Golden Altar. Hallelujah!! Shout!! IN THE HOLY PLACE!!
What does it mean, that John saw the horns in the Holy Place? Again look at the Tabernacle of Moses.
If you draw the Tabernacle, you will see what John saw. There's the Ark of the Covenant. There's the Table of Shewbread. The Altar of Incense and then you see the Candlestick. There's the Laver. Then there's the Brazen Altar. Now at the Brazen Altar, we see in our mind's eye, Calvary. Now it that is Calvary, Jesus is at Calvary. Stretched out. Now, where is His heart? His heart is at the Altar of Incense. And John said, "I saw the horns at the Altar of Incense". Remember the horns are us. John saw a people at God's heart. This is what God is seeing, here in Revelation. A people after the heart of God. Walking INTO IT, BACK INTO IT.
2 Sam. 22:1-3, "And David spake unto the Lord the words of this song in the day that the Lord had DELIVERED HIM OUT OF THE HAND OF ALL HIS ENEMIES , and out of the hand of SAUL. And he said The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my DELIVERER: The God of my rock; in him will I trust: is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my saviour; thou savest me from violence."
How many of David's enemies did the Lord deliver him of? ALL. I hope you are seeing this in OUR DAY, IN US. Notice David said, "The Lord IS my rock". Now look at what he says next. "The God OF my rock.." Can you hear this, it sounds like somebody is hidden in somebody, doesn't it? He is the horn of our salvation, but, we are also the horn of his salvation. How? Because He said, "I will be perfected in the third day". How is He perfected? THROUGH A PEOPLE!!!! What day are WE in? The third day!! WE ARE a joint of supply for Him and He is a joint of supply for us, because WE ARE ONE IN HIM!! Hallellujah!!
PS 92: 10, "But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil". The horn also speaks of the anointing. This is why WE ARE WHO WE ARE! Christ is God's Life. Who is the Christ? We are. WE are His life right here on earth. He is seen through and as us and we are seen as Him. WE are the horn that the anointing flows through. This is how John heard ONE VOICE. That Voice is one, but a many memebered Voice.
PS 132: 13, "For the Lord hath chosen Zion;HE HATH DESIRED IT FOR HIS HABITATION . THIS IS MY REST FOR EVER; HERE WILL I DWELL ; FOR I HAVE DSIRED IT. Now skip down to verse 17. There will I make the horn of David to bud; I have ordained a lamp for mine anointed."
The horn is where God's power is hidden. GOD IS RESTING. HE IS DOING NO MORE. WE ARE TO MANIFEST HIM. Can you see this? We are budding. Actually IT IS DONE, now it is on us.
Revelation 9:14, "Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates." WHO is saying to the sixth angel? The ONE VOICE coming out of the horn, spoke to the angel. It wasn't God who spoke to the angel this time. It is that body of people, "like unto the Son of man". It is the fullness of God coming forth from those "like unto" that spoke to the angel. Because Euphrates (judgment) is mentioned, it shows that these people had removed the beam from their eye, that removes the speck from the other people's eye. This "one like unto" are seeing as God sees. How, they have come to know their true Identity!! AND it is the "one like unto" that is causing the judgment. (correcting what is incorrect.)
And that One Voice said to the sixth angel, "Loose the four angels." Loose them from where? "Loose the four angels which are bound upon (not in) the great river Euphrates." That means it judgment was upon Babylon. Remember when the river was diverted by Darius? How do you think the river got diverted? By the four angels. God sent the angels to divert the river, even though Darius got the credit for it. The diversion of the river had a two part meaning; one was to bring judgment upon Babylon; the other was to bring judgment upon Jerusalem. Once the river had been diverted, then Babylon could get to Israel, and Israel could get to Babylon. Judgment was sent to Jerusalem to all that would not accept Jesus as the Christ; to those people who said He was the antichrist. These were the ones who crucified Jesus; and Paul; and all the horrible things that they did to the disciples. These are who is being spoken of here. John saw it as judgment falling upon Jerusalem. But, it means something different to us. The great tribulation has happened already. It took place in 70ad. Our tribulation and judgment happened on the cross. No more judgment for us. IF ONLY FOLKS WOULD REALIZE THIS. The debt was paid on the cross and we awakened as we resurrected. Some are still sleeping. Some are still judging and LOOKING FOR judgment to fall upon them every time they do something "wrong". But, that is all FINISHED. And His manifestation cannot take place UNTIL all guilt, shame, and false believing leaves a person. That is when they wake up to their true Identity. That's when the horn breaks loose from within them.
Revelation 9: 15, " And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men."
All this means is that they were prepared for an appointed time.
"for to slay the third part of men".
If you study this book out, from chapter 7 and onward, you'll find a third part of men here; a fourth part of men, here; a fifth part of men there, etc. etc. Think about this, there are only 3 thirds in three thirds. If you kill three thirds of men, you have killed EVERY BODY. lol. He is not talking about men being "killed", as physically dead.
The One Voice, the "one like unto...", the Body of Christ who is walking in perfection, loosed the four angels. Listen, we need to understand some things. Do you know who loosed the heavens to rain and the fountains of water to break loose in the earth in Noah's day? NOAH!! Noah loosed them. God said there is no other man in this generation as perfect as Noah. And all mankind was judged according to Noah. Study it out. Same with Sodum and Gomorrah. Who loosed the fire and brimstone? Abraham. People NOW it is OUR GENERATION. It is the same thing here in Revelation.
Your bible scholars will tell you that one third of MAN is dieing. And that guy on TV that has the whole bible memorized, boy he has it down pat that one third of MAN IS DIEING. But let's see for ourselves.
IS 66:15, "For behold the Lord will come with fire ( who is the fire? Our God is a consuming fire. Who are we?) , and with his chariots (chariots speak of fire also, chariots of fire) like a whirlwind, (whirlwind speak speaks of His will being accomplished) to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire. For by this fire and by His sword will the Lord plead with all flesh; (didn't He do this with Noah, with Sodum and Gomorrah? ) When He came as Jesus, He did the same thing. and the slain of the Lord shall be many. Who are the slain of the Lord? Look at the next sentence, they that sanctify themselves and purify themselves (NOW let me ask you one question while you got your bible out. DOES IT SAY THAT THE LORD IS GOING TO SANCTIFY US< OR PURIFY US? NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! We have to do it. How? BY REMEMBERING WHO WE ARE!! These are the SLAIN OF THE LORD. in the gardens (if you do a study on gardens, you'll find your local church, hmmm) behind ONE TREE, what tree? The Tree of Life. IN THE MIDST, FOLKS THE TREE IS IN THE MIDST OF US> what were they doing before? eating swine's flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, saith the Lord" So, you see when the Lord talks about slaining one third, it doesn't mean He killed them, He APPREHENDED them. HE APPREHENDED US and aren't we glad that He slain us???
Seeing that we are ONE in Him, we are ONE with the Holy Spirit. And when we allow the Spirit to speak, it is US that brings forth the fire that slains others. At the Brazen Altar we are sacrifieced and given as a living sacrifice: and at the Golden Altar we come to the place, because of the sacrifice, we become one with Holy Spirit, and He speaks and He speaks only. So when we speak by the Holy Spirit, the words that we speak are the fire that issues out of our mouth and causes judgment to those who don't want to hear. Even those who are dull of hearing, it burns up their dullness, so that they can hear. We become a joint of supply with each other, in each other, for each other, so that we can be the One Voice of the horns speaking from the Golden Altar.
Revelation 9:16, "And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand; and I heard the number of them. "
This number just speaks of an in numerable company of people.
Revelation 9:17, "And thus I saw the horses in the vision , and then that sat on them, having breastplates of FIRE (out of our hearts shall flow fire). John had such a vision and this Euphrates river , and river always speaks of water and water speaks of people and when rivers are connected with Euphrates it is talking about the judging of people. When fire is being spoken of , it is talking about judgment. And this is a beautiful picture that John had, about judgment coming upon the earth. PLEASE bare in mind, judgment simply means "correcting what is incorrect". And the beautiful thing is, is that we have to be able to see where we are in this thing. We are not in the midst of the judgment. We are producing the judgment. It is being found out where our foundation is. Is it in our job, or our family, or in our wealth, or is it in Him. And it is coming especailly to this country. And like David said, thousands and ten thousands fall down all around me, but it doesn't bother me a bit. If we don't know, that judgment is coming THROUGH US, we will fall by it. We will be consumed by it. But, there is a people who are a Golden Altar people and they know Who they are, and nothing can touch them and they know that ALL THINGS are for the good of those who love God.
Revelation 9:18, "By these three (what three) in verse 17 fire, smoke and brimstone) was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouth. "
The words that we speak are smoke. They come from the fire. Who's the fire, God, the Holy Spirit. The brimstone is the incasement. So that when we speak those folks can't get away. They are locked into what we say to them, whether they know it or not. Why? Because the Holy Spirit spoke through us/as us. All three issues out of our mouths.

20 "And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues, yet repented not ot the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk."
This shows that God is not KILLING these people when it speaks of them being killed , but is apprehending them. Look at this, the rest who did not repent WERE NOT KILLED. We are a plauge to them. . That is why we speak only by the Sprit He will tell us who to speak to.
